Alpine Gentle Roof Cleaning

I'm happy with everything. They were responsive and did a great job. They didn't leave a mess behind and they followed through with the work they came up.

The roof cleaning was excellent. The cleanup was OK. The front and back yards were cleaned adequately, except for two plies of debris were left in the front yard. The side yards appear to have the debris washed into the surrounding trees.

Was very easy to get an estimate, very courtious.

The guy from Alpine Gentle Roof Cleaning did a great job on the roof. It looked like new when they were done. 6 months later it still looks like new.

I don't recall all of the details. He cleaned the roof carefully rather than power washing. When I sold the house, an inspector said some of the granules on the shingles had been washed off or damaged. However, that was only a few tiles, and the inspector was trying to find things wrong with the house.

It had been quite a while since we had the roof cleaned. Normally we had it taken care of everyfew years. It was 20 years old so wasn't sure if it was even salvageable but hoped we could avoid replacing the entire roof for a few years. We live in a heavily wooded area so a lot of cedar fronds, pine needles, and leaves accumulate. The initial inspection indicated that it would need some shakes replaced but the vast bulk of it was okay. Cleaning went extremely well even though construction of a deck was going on at the time. Everyone was especially courteous and professional so was finished quickly. Unfortunately there was one area that was especially bad and needeed to be replaced, that was a problem that we had anticipated. Replaced shakes and ridge cap was done extremely well in sometimes less than good weather. All debris was completely cleaned up and the roof looked almost like new. I had to be in Alaska during much of the time this was done but couldn't have been more pleased on my return.Especially with quality of work and cleanup afterward, so I have never felt I should have been here to "ride herd" on the crew as that was never necessary. I have arranged to be called in the spring to have the usual late fall buldup removed and am looking forward to doing business with Alpine again.

Overall I'm very pleased with the service which was prompt and they did a good job cleaning up afterwards. The chemical treatment works with the activation of rain so it has taken several months to determine the effectiveness. My roof is looking clean and the cedar shigles now have a nice light color. The roof is about 18 years old and this is the second time its been cleaned. I feel the treatment was worthwhile and will legthen the lifespane of my roof. I'd recommend Alpine

These folks are very professional and did a great job cleaning the moss off of our roof, which is tricky as it's pretty steep with challenging clearance to the neighbors yard. They were very considerate, cleaned up everything, and all has worked out fine as we transited into the rainy season after the long dry spell. Only concern was that the service seemed pricey. I had a related but different issue with my gutters months after this roof moss cleaning visit in August. i called these folks and talked to the owner and he was very helpful, guiding me to a self-service solution. I love that kind of service!

Called for an estimate - told there would be someone out by 10-29-12 - no one showed up, no estimate provided, no phone followup to reschedule, no apology. I called some one else.

Brian arrived on schedule, explained what work would be done, and did the job in a quality and professional manner (my roof is two story with a steep pitch, requiring Brian to rope up for the upper level work). He then applied a moss treatment to prevent future growth. All debris from the roof was cleaned up and placed in my yard waste container. Brian was competent, polite, and very professional. I will use these guys again next year.

Asked for a roof and gutter cleaning. Roof looked very fresh after it was done, and gutters were cleared out although still had dirt/debris (no large chunks however).

It was great! They sent us a thank you card and a $5 Starbucks card as a thank you.

Showed up promptly to give his estimate, very thorough. Actually climbed onto the roof to be sure he could see everything. Cleaner showed up on time and was very professional and a VERY hard worker. Excellent performance.

I contacted Alpine and within a day they had been by to look at the roof and I had an estimate to have my roof cleaned, treated, and cutters. I was just about to call to schedule an appoint when the snow started to fall. Well that was a mess. I waited until March 3 months after my estimate was given and they came out within 4 days to clean my roof. They made it so easy for me that I wondered why I hadn't called before. I was amazed that they still honored the same estimate. Fom start to finish my experience was very comfortable talking with Nate as he explained what it would take to remove the moss off my roof and treat it so it would not return. I had a very compostite shingles missing and he fixed that for free! How many I don't know but I found one in my tree. I apologize if Brian is not his name, but the amount of work on the roof he had to do-WOW!!! Now it looks FANTASTIC. You would think that it is NEW!!! Thank you ALPINE......... I sent this company an email on October 5th, describing the job. They asked for my address and said they'd come out and leave me an estimate. I never heard from them.

Went very well. All was completed on schedule. Workman were very professional and courteous. Work was completed in two stages because shakes had to be dry before chemical was applied.

We called Alpine for a quote to clean our roof. We also called Eastside on the same day because both were highly rated on Angie's List. Each agreed to come out the following week to give us an estimate. Eastside gave us a day and time; Alpine said they would be out by Friday of the following week (which would have been 9/16/11). Eastside showed up to give an estimate on the date/time promised. Alpine neither showed nor called. I realize this is a busy time of year for roof cleaners. However, if a contractor does not show up to give an estimate by the date promised and does not call to reschedule, we will not use them. Therefore, I give Alpine an "F" on professionalism, responsiveness and on overall performance.

Work was completed as scheduled for the amount quoted with no hassles. Clean up was very good, including a small amount of clean up on next door neighbors property. Pressure washing was completed on a Wednesday, and the roof spray treatment was done the following Monday.

They showed up on the appointed day and completed the work on time.

I was very happy with their service. They contacted me quickly after my initial email to set up an appointment the following week. The worker arrived on time, and was courteous and efficient. He reattached the gutter in a spot where it had come loose. The washing process kicked up an incredible amount of debris, but he cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. In less than a day, he finished what would have taken me over a week. My roof hasn't looked this good in a long time.

Very pleased with the service. Contacted the company via internet, including basic information about the roof, and received a phone call with description of services and estimate within one day. Worker showed up as scheduled within three days of estimate and spent day pressure washing roof and cleaning up afterwards. Worker was thoroughloy professional and cleaned up completely after finishing pressure washing. Because it was raining could not apply moss treatment until we had a spell of dry weather, which occured the next day. Came and applied moss treatment in the morning, completing the job. No payment was made until the entire job was completed. I will definitely use this company again, but this time will not wait until a lot of moss has grown.

He did a thorough job and explained how moss grows on the roof, how it is killed, etc. He cleaned up around the perimeter of the house and did not leave any mess. It is gentle compared to pressure washing. When I sold the house, an inspector noticed that some of the granules from the roof tiles had been "sprayed' off. However, I don't see how that is to be avoided when you are removing an overgrowth of moss from an older roof, other than scraping it off with a hoe, which a friend had tried for me, which I think caused the damage initially. The gentleman Alpine sent was scientific in his assessment and was very knowledgeable. I suggest customers keep their expectations realistic in getting an older roof or a composition roof cleaned. The guy was very careful and gingerly removed all the moss from my roof. I can't guarantee you will get the same guy or an equally careful man or woman, however.
