Description of Work: Very happy with the overall service! He just came right in and got right to work. He was very patient as I interupted him with many questions. I am very happy I bought the deal; I now know I have at least 3 years left on my current furnace! That was the best news I've had in a long time! Thank you!

Description of Work: we were unable to apply the Angie's List coupon we purchased because we noticed a leak after. We were charged a service call fee that we weren't initially told about. The technician found that the heat exchanger was cracked. We waited days for a new furnace quote and were told by a different company (we wanted several quotes) that the heat exchanger was under warranty. Our furnace wasn't that old. We made several calls to Universal Mechanical to chase down a quote and asked to be reimbursed for the $200 service call as well. We decided to have them replace the heat exchanger. They agreed to the reimbursement as well. While their work was thorough, their communication could have been much better. We had to keep after them.
