Description of Work: I called Jeff who answered the phone. Then he asked the questions like: if I need power wash, if I have ever cleaned up the roof. Then he said that they have a product called "Pyroshield 2000" to clean the roof better than zinc with extra cost. I have never heard about that kind of product. He quoted additional $133 as my roof is over 1,600 sqt (my house is 2 story, less than 2,500 sqt). The additional cost is over 1/3 of the deal. There is additional $100 for Shake roof. I need to pay additional almost $300 for the service (tax included). That is way too expensive. My coworker told me that they just have the moss cleaned up and recommended the company to me. They have the similar size of the house as mine and paid less than the deal. I need my money back. No service from the company.

You purchased $379.00 Big Deal for composition or tile roof at 1600 sqft roof and 5/12 pitch. Your roof is shake roof at 3200 sqft and 8/12 pitch. Information about additional costs for size, pitch and type of roof are listed in deal before you purchase. Normally your estimate would be $990-$1200, but due to Angie’s list deal your estimate is $612.42 for zinc treatment and $726.57 for upgrade pyroshield2000 treatment, which comes with a (5) year warranty of no moss regrowth. Upgrade treatment is highly recommended for shake roofs. Remember, we air clean roofs, which is a different process than pressure wash. We do not recommend pressure wash especially on shake roofs. Shakes naturally thin as they age losing thickness of shake eventually exposing felt below. The longer felt is exposed to elements the sooner it will deteriorate eventually causing leaks. When pressure washing a roof you are removing unnecessary layers of wood making shakes look new again but at same time reducing life of shake and increasing repairs or replacement.

Description of Work: They air cleaned the debris and moss off of the composition roof and I paid extra for a 3 year treatment to resist moss buildup. While my roof was only about 6 years old, the moss build up was somewhat alarming. I think this is an essential part of maintaining a roof and it will help it last a long time. I definitely would use them again. If I understand them right, it would cost less than $200 for annual maintenance.

Description of Work: They were suppose to remove all of the moss and apply a special treatment to prevent recurrence for several years. Soon after they left, I could see moss on part of the roof so will be watching carefully and use their guarantee if necessary and have them correct their over sight.

Our roof cleaning process involves air cleaning and removing debris from the entire roofs surface including gutters and downspouts (all removed debris is hauled away for you). Once debris is removed we apply our moss treatment. You asked us to apply our upgrade moss treatment, which continuously cleans each time it rains. Peak performance results of our upgrade treatment is 4 to 6 months and lasts up to (3) years with warranty certificate of no moss regrowth for composition and tile roofs and up to (5) years for cedar shake roofs.

Description of Work: We had our roof cleaned, all moss removed, gutters cleaned and moss retardant with a 3 year guarantee. We spent about $200 more than the deal we paid for to upgrade, etc. | |Wonderful service. Did an estimate before they came, explained everything and answered our questions. Two guys did the blowing, did a great job on the roof and on the clean up. The had to do the spraying the next day because it was windy. I'm very pleased. Thanks.

Description of Work: They cleaned roof, gutters and skylights, replaced some shingles, and hauled away all the debris. I am very pleased with the process and the results. The roof should be replaced, but I'm 'downsizing' and wished only to have maintenance done. The Pyroshield method is great. They blow the debris from the roof and gutters without using huge amounts of water or harsh chemicals, and the cleanup afterward is miraculous.
