The service techs were professional and explained the process. Unfortunately I did not receive the invoice with the extra cost for the slope of the roof until the day of service after it was completed. I am satisfied with the results of the service.

Quote turned out to be much higher than I anticipated (didn't expect a quote for $680 - an extra $300 above what I had already paid for the $379 big deal), and that was without the extra $163 for Pyroshield treatment. After talking to the owner on the phone, he lowered cost to $220 extra and I opted for just zinc treatment. Cleaning team came out and spent 5 hours cleaning and did a great job, leaving almost no remains behind. They applied a lot of zinc (which makes my roof look like a mess, but the coverage was good). Overall I feel like I got a pretty good value for the amount of work they did...just didn't like the major up-charge from the Big Deal price, and the up-sell attempt to Pyroshield.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. They were pretty quick, they did a really good job, and they also did a good clean up job afterwards. They were professional.

The workers were polite and cleaned up after themselves. They did a good job.

They were great across the board. They also pressure walked my driveway, patio, sidewalk, and deck as well as cleaned out gutters. Everything only took 2 1/2 - 3hrs.

Great, knowledgeable people, had problems with the kind of roof I have (gravel and tar), so the moss was extremely difficult to remove, and because of my pets I didn't want the common types of moss killer used. They accommodated me, even though it was considerably harder than first estimated. They did as much as was humanly possible in the time available, and did it quickly and in a goodnatured way.

They first cleaned our wooden shake roof with air pressure, which doesn't degrade the shakes (like water pressure does). Next was a topical application of a proprietary chemical moss/lichen killer, finally cleaned up by sweeping/hosing. Roof is "brighenting" up as the chemicals work, looks like a new roof, very nice, good work, we will use them again.

Jeff (owner) was very informative about the process used to clean our roof. He was easy to work with, scheduling was a breeze. The job was completed at appointed time and in a reasonable amount of time. We will certainly call Pyroshield for roof cleaning in the future if needed.

We don't know when the crew arrived as we were not home at the time but they worked right up to dusk and they rushed a bit to get done before light was gone. Possibly as a result, clean-up was not as good as it should have been but Jeff promptly resolved our concerns. He clearly cares about providing a quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Roof looks good. Price was reasonable and the job was performed when we needed it to be.

On 3/4/13 I ordered a roof and gutter cleaning through Angie's List "BIG DEAL". I called Pyroshield on 3/5 to schedule an appointment for them to come out, and we picked a date later in the month that worked for us both. I spoke with the owner, Jeff who was very nice and very helpful. Since I have rain barrels that collect my roof water Jeff gave me some great information on a "safer" solution for the roof cleaning. The work was done on 3/29/2013 while I was away, and when I got home I could not believe the difference in my roof! All of the moss was completely gone, and the gutters cleaned. It looked like a new roof! The next day Jeff emailed me with a few suggestions for keeping my roof in good shape, and gave me a bid for the additional work needed. It was a very reasonable bid. I will definitely use them again for my next roof cleaning.

Went fine. This was an Angie's list big deal. I scheduled a date with the contractor. They came out on that date and did the work. The roofs look great and they had quite a bit of moss built up. They applied a treatment to prevent moss. Obviously it will take time to see if it is effective. They gave me a written 3 year warranty which indicates they will clean off any moss that returns within that time limit. I would use them again.

We bought Pyroshield's Big Deal to clean our asphalt roof of moss and debris, and apply a moss treatment. Our house isn't large, but because it's 1 story we have a lot of roof, so there was an extra charge for that. We also opted for the more expensive "Pyroshield 2000" moss treatment, due to the 3 year warranty (which we haven't tested yet). The 2-man crew arrived on time and spent about 2 hours cleaning the roof with compressed air, applying the treamtment, and cleaning up the mess. They did a really great job -- I honestly can't believe how clean the roof looks, they really got all the moss off, even on the edge of the shingles. I think air is better than pressure washing, but I have some concerns about how much the shingles were lifting off during the cleaning. Seems ok, though. The crew also did a thorough job cleaning up -- it really made a mess on the ground, and you could hardly tell by the time they were finished. I'm very pleased with the work and would consider hiring them again. My only complaint was the price, which when broken down to man-hours was quite high, even considering equipment and supplies and the Angie's List Big Deal discount. Despite that, I'm pleased with the end result, as it isn't something I could have achieved by myself.

It was pretty good. They did charge more me because my house is bigger, it was $660. When I was on their website they had a chemical that was non-toxic, that's what I wanted to use, it was one of the reasons I went with them. When they did their job, they used a different chemical that is toxic. I told them that I'd been online and I wouldn't be booking with them unless they use the non-toxic one. The owner said that they would throw in the non-toxic for us but that was a big deal for him. They were more expensive than anybody else in the long run. I didn't think they cleaned up like they should have but my biggest concern is whether my roof has moss on it. They were very quick. They were actually late but they called, I think they were lost. We have a tall house, I don't think they were really expecting to work on a tall house.

Everything was fine. I asked what it was they spray on the roof to prevent future growth, would only say it's a trade secret.

They arrived on time and worked quickly. They were very efficient, and exceptionally clean. I didn't have to do any cleanup after they were through. They cleaned up as they worked. Fantastic job, good price. Well worth it!

Services performed went very well. All services were performed completely (though the roof protection is one of those things that you can't really tell about because it's a long-term fix), but moss is gone, gutters are clean, patio and walks are clean, they even cleaned up the side walk in front of our house. Post-ops clean-up was thorough.

It went very well. Overall for the amount of work, with the price and with the amount of time they took it was a really good deal. They gave me quite a few discounts.

Moved all moveable objects away from home exterior. Covered our pond. Thoroughly washed, in some areas "scrubbed" our roof and cleaned our gutters out. Then cleaned up the debris. And returned most items to there original location.

Overall I was very pleased. The team was very prompt & considerate of my property. They did a thorough job. I feel that my driveway is now safe for my mother to walk on & not slip on. The roof looks GREAT. (As does the rest of the job) I did have a slight issue with the clean up. When I called to report this, my concern was taken seriously & not pushed aside. The owner offered an immediate solution. I would hire this company again.

Jeff is really good about keeping in touch, returning calls etc... I ended up hiring them to paint the house after they finished with the roof and was very pleased with Ed and his crew as well.

It went well. Originally purchased as an Angie's deal, it was closer to retail than a deal once adjustments were made for our house's roof pitch, but overall a good value. Great service, would definitely use them again!
