Pyroshield of Washington

Arrived on time, worked hard, and cleaned up well. As the roof cleaning makes a big mess around the house, we were curious how well the final clean up would be done. We were impressed with the thoroughness of the job; time will tell how well the moss treatment will last. But generally we would hire Pyroshield for another job of this nature. At first when we bought the deal, we received an email from Pyroshield about the job and it felt like they really wanted us to upgrade to a more expensive treatment. I don't want purchase of Angie's List deals to be opportunities for companies to do a hard sell for more services, so I was a little put off. But they didn't push the upgrade and did an excellent job with the roof cleaning. Ultimately it was a very good experience.

They were very professional all the way through the process. The office was extremely helpful and responsive in scheduling the service and answering questions that I had on the options. The workers showed up on time and were very nice. They promptly identified themselves, and provided their business card. It was raining cats and dogs, but they said it was not a problem to clean the roof, but it would be best to come back when it was not raining in order for the protective treatment to be applied so not wash away. They worked very hard and in very rainy and somewhat cold conditions on this roof. The roof also has a high pitch. They returned within a week to apply the coat of protective treatment as promised. I was embarrased by the look of our roof before. It had dark black streaks and moss growth. Now it looks so clean and bright like a brand new roof. I was proud to have Company and see the new roof just in time for Thankgiving. I am extemely pleased with this service and wish I had known about it years ago.

Crew showed-up on time and spent a lot of time cleaning and treating roof. Identified one area of roof that had soft spots and may need attention in the near future. Did a good job cleaning up after the job was finished.

It's been about 3 months since roof cleaning, and so far so good. don't see any moss growing back yet. There was a question about my bill that was attended to by the gentleman from their company over the phone, that was very helpful, and explained how the maintenance plan works, going forward. There was some leftover moss debris on the ground around the house that was not picked by the cleaning crew, not a big deal. I cleaned up most of what i saw, and sprayed moss killer just in case :)

Pyroshield removed ivy from my gararage roof and then cleaned, removed the moss, and provided moss treatment for both my garage and house. My house has a very steep pitch so I was concerned about getting a professional who knew what they were doing and had liability coverage. I was extremely pleased with Pyroshield's promptness in response and service, quality of service and cleanup, and the price. I got their pricing deal for the house but with the added work, the price was very reasonable. I got a couple of other quotes and Pyroshield was almost half of the other quotes for the same work. I would definitely use Pyroshield again and highly recommend them.

It was an initial cleaning. They did a good job.

I thought there might be some additional charge, but not double the anticipated price. Company representative did spend some time patiently explaining extra charge, but still it was not what I was prepare to pay.

I used an Angie's List special and, because of the size and steepness of our roof, and because we selected an upgrade on the moss treatment, we had to pay more. We anticipated that before we signed up for the special and Pyroshield provided a detailed estimate before the work was scheduled. We are scheduling more Pyroshield services because we enjoyed working with them and greatly appreciated the quality of work and the professionalism of the staff.

WONDERFUL! The only thing I think they should change is on the BIG DEAL I feel the sales tax should be included in the BIG DEAL price.

The crew showed as scheduled and immediately went to work. They completed the job within two hours and did a good job of cleaning the area. The roof looks really good now and ready for the upcoming winter.

Difficult getting them to respond back and set appointment date.

The guys were prompt and worked quickly. Their clean up of all the moss that fell to the ground was exceptional. I was very pleased and have given their names to friends.

Bought this deal knowing that the square footage of my roof would cost a little bit more since I have a bigger home and detached garage. Was not expecting them to clean the detached shed roof but they did so at no extra charge. Roof was extremely dirty and had a lot of moss. When I got home from work it looked like a completely different home.

I am most pleased and will definitely use them. I even referred them to a friend. I do suggest that if there is additional work other than the roof cleaning and treatment to be aggressive on following up to get commitments. Once commited, they do arrive.ker

There were no troubles with scheduling and no additional costs. They did a great job.

The whole experience was great. They showed up as expected. They gave me a rundown on what they were going to do. I expressed some concerns about a possible issue with my roof. They informed me that they would take a look and if repairs were needed they would provide me with an estimate. They cleaned and treated my roof and it looked great. They checked on my concern and did not find any problems. The guys were great, easy to talk to, and professional. They cleaned up after they were done. I definitely will be calling upon Pyroshield for future roof maintenance.

All went well, I elected to go with an upgraded moss treatment that they warranty for 3 years (no moss regrowth so will have to see how that goes), price jumped some for size of roof and pitch ( I had emailed pictures of house/roof so they were able to tell me ahead of time increase in price, I'm assuming I could have cancelled at that point and gotten my money refunded if I wanted), so original $379 (not including tax) rose $241 to $620, then added Pyroshield 2000 treatment. Arrived on time, had good communication prior to service, seemingly did a good job (I was home during service, but didn't go up on roof), I was able to see prior moss issue on North facing roofing was taken care of. I would recommend (assuming moss treatment works), but it was more expensive that I originally thought it was going to be but still may be considered a good deal (this is the first service of this type I've contracted for)

The rain came 5-6 days afterwards and my house leaked, which it hadn't done all winter. They blew a tiny little hole in the roof. Now I have close to $15,000 of damage inside my house. They did come out and repair the roof at no charge. They were nice people but the outcome was so unfortunate. The most frustrating part was right afterwards, they sent me an email telling me that something else needed to be addressed. I replied to ask what it was, but because he went on vacation, I didn't get a response before the rain came. I also called but didn't get an answer. I really wish he or someone in his office had followed up in a timely manner that would have taken care of this immediately and prevented the issues. I don't think they're a bad company, it was just an oversight that had bad consequences, and the owner agreed when we spoke afterwards. I'm not sure if I'd hire them again until I see how this is handled.

I thought their price was reasonable. The only thing I was a little disappointed in is that they did not do a very good outside cleaning when the job was finished. They cleaned the gutters real good and they cleaned most of the debris off the driveways, but I have a ledge around my driveway garage area and I noticed there was a lot of dirt from the gutters still on the ledge. I did not see it until yesterday. They came on time and did the job within an hour. It was good and they told me how they were going to do it. They were going to dry clean it, which they did; so in that regard I say it was good. It was a cheap price.

Fantastic!! The two gentlemen arrived on time and were very courteous. They set up their hoses and got started immediately. I had an appointment that I had to get to, so I had to leave; but when I came back everything was done and the yard was clean of all the debris! Will definitely be doing yearly maintenance with them. They were to come out to give an estimate on 8-27-14. At first the girl I spoke with said it would be on Tuesday and she could not give me a time. I got a little upset about having to wait all day for the estimator. She then said that they would call me and give me a window as to what time they were coming out. I never received a call and no on ever showed up. I know that because I was home alday as we had a new Hot water heater installed. I wonder why they have such a good rating???

Purchased Big Deal for roof/gutter cleaning ($379) and upgraded to Pyroshield 2000 moss treatment. Also requested pressure washing services. Total including Big Deal was $741. They showed up when promised and completed the work. Moss treatment left residue on roof, but I was advised in advance the it would take months before the residue disappeared. They also inspected some flashing for damage by a bird pecking on it during mating season while they were up there, but found none.

I read good reviews from other angies list users (A rating's). Went to Pyroshield's website and saw other services they did which I needed as well. After purchasing the roof cleaning/moss treatment I added pressure washing/gutter cleaning/window washing & had them pressure wash (2) wood decks. They blasted the moss off the roof with compressed air not with the pressure washer, since my roof is only 5 years old that was important to me. Roof looks like brand new as does the driveway and the gutters/downspouts are all shiny again. I would definitely use them again.We got alot of bang for the buck.

It turned out well. They were totally professional and the cost was reasonable.
