Pyroshield of Washington

After purchasing a Big Deal for roof treatment, I had a couple of detailed conversations with Jeff, who walked me through quite a number of options for my house, which I'd recently purchased and needed a lot of work given its age and proximity to tall trees (shade/debris). Jeff was excellent to work with and never pressured me for "extra work" and in fact recommended against a number of the more commonly "overpriced" options for gutters and such. He also performed exterior window washing, which for me was a huge benefit since our house has a number of very large windows on the 3rd story, and out of reach for me on my own. The crew who performed the work were punctual and very professional, and when a minor issue came up later which was very likely not their fault, they were very prompt to resolve it anyway, with no mention of any additional charges. I will definitely keep Pyroshield in my contact list for future roof-related jobs.

They arrived a day early, which was a bit of surprise, but no issue. After they left, they had not cleaned the deck or front porch, debris from the roof was left. They returned the next day, and finished cleaning up. After they had left, I found areas on the roof they had missed. They were responsive to my call, and had a crew back to catch all the areas they had missed promptly. I am having them come back in the Fall to clean the debris off the roof and do the gutters. Even though I was disappointed on the first visit, they did follow through and completed what was agreed to.

They were very professional and i would use than again. My only complaint was that with the complexity of pricing and how it is calculated, the cost of the actual service was very different than the offer on angies list. It was reasonable, but the differences were a bit of a shock.

The crew started to clean the roof, but soon found out that cleaning it would only create a problem. The moss seemed to be keeping the rain out. We really need a new roof, not just a cleaning. They offered to clean just the gutters. They told us to get our money back from Angies list and they would bill us separately for the gutters. I am only just now getting around to asking for the refund. They have not billed us for the gutters yet either. Meanwhile they did a good job on the gutters and an excellent job cleaning up after themselves.

I think I paid additional for an additional moss prevention treatment and warranty. The yard and ground was clean but some of the windows of my house were a bit messy from the washing but it wasn't terrible. The actual work performed was very good and thorough because I had a lot of moss on my shingles and later I haven't had any moss grow back so so far their protection stuff is holding up.

It was a horrible experience for me. I purchased the coupon last November, and it is April and I am cancelling it. They kept postponing the schedule due to the weather which I understand since I agree that safety is important. I also understand that my roof (light weight roof) is more difficult to clean than composite roof. Initially Jeff was saying that I could get a refund from Angie's list (I should have noticed that he didn't want to deal with my roof when he mentioned about refunding multiple times..). The thing that I was frustrated the most was whenever I called them, they said Jeff would be call me back and he never did. Even today, I called a couple of times and the person who got a phone call said he was talking with other customers and he would call me back, and again he never did. I was so tired of calling them again and again and asking the same thing over and over, I decide to cancel the service. Only when I said I want to cancel it (this was like 3rd or 4th call this morning), all of sudden Jeff was available to talk to me...I felt they were not honest with me and not keeping their promise. I wasted so much time dealing with them and I will never call them back again. I guess it may be ok to use this company for composite roof, but not definitely tile roof. What a horrible experience and what a waste of my time calling them...so awful.

They did the estimate but it was just too expensive after everything was said and done. I ended up using someone else.

Great! Jeff was very easy to work with, very professional and responsive. They did a great job and followed up with additional information, instructions to help maintain my roof in the future and advice about home maintenance. We communicated primarily through email and Jeff was very responsive and thorough. After the treatment I had a few questions and Jeff called me to answer my questions. I will definitely use them again.

They did an excellent job. I also upgraded to a better treatment. I had no problems scheduling the appointment and they showed up on time. They got the job done in about 3 hours. They sent 2 people out to do the job.

I didn't expect them until Monday. Showed up unexpectedly on Friday. Performed work as promised, even moved my car out of the way and put it back in the driveway. Only moss left is what's growing in my lawn! :-)

They were responsive to emails and for scheduling. They arrived on time, did a thorough job and did not leave any mess to clean up.

I ended up not needing the deal because my roof is under warranty with them, and I plan on using them again.

The services would have been more than what I wanted to pay and the product that they were trying to selling me I was not interested in so I decided to go with another company.

They were willing to work with me. I told them that I wasn’t able to be there and couldn’t walk them through because I was out of town and when I came back, it was actually cleaner compared to another company that I used previously. However, it might have been helpful had they mentioned that there were other upgrades to it and I think it would've been helpful to know that the very basic stuff may not even be effective.

The $379 price that is advertised is just a teaser. Our house isn't anything special and we were quoted $895 plus tax. Beware. This price and "Big Deal" is very misleading. They showed up early, and were here most of the day. They did a good job, and even went above and beyond to get my water turned back on for the front of the house. Pleasant to work with.

The service went well. I paid an additional fee to have them treat the driveway with the moss solution. Two technicians came out and completed the job in about 2 hours. They were really nice and hard workers. I was really impressed with their work ethic and knowledge. They were good with the cleanup after the job and I had no problem scheduling the deal.

square footage of roof was not given during the arranging of visit schedule, so bill was for more than anticipated cost. provider was able to give a break on the final bill.

This was an Angie's List Deal. Jeff from Pyroshield Of Washington was very responsive. In advance of performing the work, he emailed a list of things I needed to do the day the work was to be performed and information about the process used. There was an option for an upgraded roof treatment; I chose the standard zinc treatment and appreciated that there was not a hard sell. I was very pleased with the experience.

They did a good job. Were here all day. Even worked on getting my water turned back on in my garage, which was not part of their job.

Clean roof and great cleanup

The work was performed well and the finished job looked great. There was no damage to foundation plantings, which we had been concerned about.

I was not here the day the job was done so can not speak to the crew's punctuality except that they did do the work on the agreed upon date. We had considerable more area for them to clean and had paid more than the original price for this extra work, all which was done. The roofs look better and I am trusting that the moss treatment was applied and is effective. The biggest problem that I had with them is the incredible mess that they left for us to clean up. All the debris from the roofs was left on the ground and all the gutters were filthy with residue. For the price we paid there should have been more effort in this area or a disclaimer on the original sale that cleanup was not included. I would not recommend this company or use them again.

I wasn't home when they did the work, but we were very satisfied with what they did.
