Richard tested my garage door opener as it was not funtioning properly. He demonstrated things that it should be doing, and wasn't. The opener was not that old and he was reluctant to have to replace it. It was determined that something was probably wrong with the circuitry. After some discussion, I decided to go ahead and replace the opener. He was very diligent in the kind of opener that was right for my particular garage door. He also re-arranged the wiring because he felt it was not done properly during the previous installation. He was the most caring, considerate, professional contractor I have ever experienced. His prices are no where near what others would have charged me. I would recommend Reidt Way Garage Doors to everyone. Wonderful customer service!

Showed up on time, with all the right parts and tools. Installed both units in about 4 hours. Included wall panels, outside key code access and verbal instructions. Need a belt driven unit instead of a worm gear due to low clearance. Installed specialized brackets for low clearance.

Richard Reidt of Reidt Way Doors was a wonderful repairman. He was all the things you want, from punctual to polite to professional. In addition, he is a thoroughly nice man, a pleasure to have in your house. I felt comfortable and secure with him working within my house. Not only that, he went above and beyond the expectation, giving my garage door a thorough going over to make sure everything worked well, even after he had fixed the bad component. And the price that he charged me was very economical, more than fair. He refused a tip, even though he had come all the way from North Bend on very little notice. I was so grateful that I found him.

Came out the same day. Great to work with. Very professional. Good work at a good price. After fixing the spring, I mentioned in passing that it was back to being as loud as always and he spent some extra time lubricating everything, then replaced two of the old, worn out rollers with much better ones and the door is now literally better than new.

I called him the day after it happened at about 1:00 in the afternoon. He took down my information and said that he would try to be out to our house after 4:00. Didn't give me an exact time, but I was ok with that, being that it was not an emergency situation. He came to our house around 6:00 - and worked til after 7:00. He did above and beyond what was needed. He explained what the issue was, what needed to be done and pricing before he did the work. He fixed it that night and our garage door has not been that quiet in years!! He went beyond just the repair and did mainentance on other parts of the garage door opener. He did a great job and was very professional, friendly and was easy to talk to and explained things?. I would HIGHLY recommend him for any garage door issue?..

Richard Reidt of Reidt Way Doors performs every installation and garage door service personally. He is a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Richard has decades of experience and is a master technician. He is excellent at providing all of the door and opener options available so the customer can make an informed purchasing decision on quality/cost/style etc. Richard is so concerned about ensuring a quality installation that he refuses to hire employees for his business preferring instead to handle every service himself to ensure the job meets his quality standards. I have never run into any service professional who takes as much pride in his work or who cares as much about the customer. I would never hire anyone else to address a garage door issue be it repair or installation. Price , quality, and service are all excellent with Reidt Way Doors. You will never have one regret working with this company. The best service professional I have ever dealt with as a homeowner of 30 years!

I called Richard yesterday morning asking for an appointment to get a bid. He said we had a packed day but would find a time to come by and look at the job. As promised, he came by towards the end of the day and gave me a very reasonable price compared to two alternate providers who gave me a price. He was not the lowest, but close. We scheduled the job for today and Richard showed up on time and completed the work as expected. I could not be more satisfied with Richard's work, responsiveness, and price. Richard does not have any employees - he does everything from sales to installation to maintenance, so his reputation means everything to him and it shows in the work he does. I will definitely be using him again if the need arises.

I needed my garage door repaired, and I needed it done quickly. I called Richard on a Saturday morning. He was clearly busy, but still squeezed me into his schedule and was at my house in just a few hours. Incredible! I assumed that I would be paying a premium for the weekend service, but the cost was very competitive with other estimates I had seen online. Richard took the time to explain the work he was doing and why, which I something that I appreciate. He also went ahead and fixed a couple of other minor problems that he noticed with my garage door, free of charge. I would HIGHLY recommend Richard / this company.

This service guy was great. We were in a pinch with our garage door on a Sunday, and he showed up right on time. Very reasonable in price and a wonderful person to work with.

He's very honest. He gave me choices as to how fix my garage door. He explained the good points and bad points of what my decision might involve. Most others just fix the problem without regard to the final cost to the victim.

Reidt was considerably cheaper and friendlier than our other bidder. He was easy to work with. Provided a replacement panel for a 30 year old garage door. He was fast, work was done well and he gave advice on maintenance without trying to upsell.

We recently moved into a home that had older garage door openers, which unfortunately chose to 'die' all around the same time. I was unable to use my remote to open one door, then about a week later, a spring broke off the second door and it could only be opened manually; the 3rd door was only set up for manual opening. Every day I had to open the garage, move the car out, go back into the house and close the garage, then come back out to my car. When the second door broke, I looked on Angie's list and found Reidt Way Doors. Logistically, they were close, and had received an A rating from a reviewer, so I called them up. Richard called me back immediately and offered to come check it out that day. Based on his diagnosis and recommendation, I chose to replace the two old garage door openers and add a third one to the manual door. It was late in the day, and even through he didn't yet have the new garage door openers with him, he 'put a band-aid on' and temporarily fixed two of the doors so that at least we could use them both with the remote. He came back a couple days later (on SUNDAY) to install the new door openers, educated me on the new system, and they all three work like a dream. Personally, I enjoyed working with Richard. He's knowledgeable, diligent, accommodating, and a really nice guy. I'm confident that he give me fair pricing, and he didn't try to up-sell me to something I didn't need. I'm extremely happy with the work and the experience, and would absolutely recommend Reidt Way Doors services to anyone.

Being the owner and manager of several rentals, I seem to always be needing work done on one or more of the properties. The most recent issue I was dealing with was that the large garage door was having problems. The first 3 contractors that looked at it all said even though it was a top of the line, nice looking wood door, it should be replaced. I mentioned this to a friend and she said I should call Rick Reidt. He arrived that day and within minutes said the problem was the springs and the rollers and he got his tools out and after 10 minutes the door worked great! Also, If I had decided to get a new door, his bid was $160 less than the lowest bid that I'd gotten. I highly recommend him for anything garage door- related and was extremely impressed by his knowledge and experience.
