Greenlake Sewer & Drain

My husband and I are very grateful for the excellent service we received from Brian at Greenlake Sewer & Drain. I emailed them Saturday night regarding an issue with our sewer line and received a call back from Chuck on Sunday morning. Brian arrived right on time Monday at noon and then very efficiently identified what was causing our sewer problem. It obvious that he has a great deal of expertise and pride in his work. He was also super friendly and professional. On top of that, he charged only a minimal amount for hydro jetting, camera inspection and 2 hours of labor. We now have peace of mind about our sewer line and a deep appreciation for the great service we received from Greenlake Sewer and Drain.

Driveway storm drain was overflowing into garage during heavy drains. First estimate was for $900 for two hours of jetting. Second provider refused to do work citing too may 'Ts' and elbows in storm drain pipes, despite lack of physical inspection. Brian came out and did most thorough inspection of drain system. The first day he came out his jet hose was frozen (temp was about 30 degrees). We scheduled for the following week when warmer temperatures were expected. He was able to arrive early, and called to make sure that was okay. He started at the lowest access point and began jetting. First hose was too big, so he started with smallest hose. He did so digging to better understand direction of pipes. By using smallest hose, he was able to navigate around a T joint just fine. After initial success of small hose, he was able to use a larger hose to clean out mud, rocks, leaves, etc. After clearing lowest portion of pipes, he tested from the highest spot to make sure water will drain properly. Entire cost for 2.25 hours was $250 plus tax. Brian was friendly, professional and committed to completing the job at hand. I would highly recommend his service.

Chuck was excellant! He was very good at explaining the problem and how to prevent it reoccuring. He came at the appointed time, worked quickly, cleared the drains, and cleaned up more than expected. The price was fair . We would not hesitate to call him again, and to recommend his work!

Chuck was very responsive. He called right back and came out the same day. He enthusiastically asked questions, looked at the plumbing all around the house, went in the crawl space, diagnosed the likely source of problems, and recommended the course of repairs needed, which is to add cleanouts to the 2" and 4" lines. He didn't attempt to snake the drain from inside the house because he knew it would be unsuccessful and didn't want to charge for unnecessary work. Because he was too busy to put in the cleanouts, he recommended another company which he personally knows and trusts. He only charged $50 for his time, which was extremely reasonable. I would definitely use them again anytime.

Excellent work. Checked to see that everything worked and asked me to have him back to recheck in the spring/summer. Suggested that, as this is likely chronic, I have the lines cleaned every other year. Sound advise as the backup left more than an inch of water in my basement.

Brian has done several sewer-related jobs for me and has always provided the best possible work in terms of all of the items in the checklist. He's gone out of his way to fit me into his schedule and has figured out ways to solve tough problems in my 1928 house. I called Greenlake Sewer and Drain after another company had failed to unplug my drain system. Brian's solution addressed the problem at about half the cost of the other firm, which had failed to fix the problem.

We had a our sewer line backup into the basement in our older home (1949). ?Chuck came out first thing the next morning and cleaned the sewer line. ?He also pulled a toilet in the basement bathroom when blockage appeared to be further up the line. ?2 hours later, all was clear. ?Chuck was very friendly and very transparent with what he was doing and why. ?He even gave us suggestions on how to avoid blockages in the future. ?Will definitely use Greenlake Sewer for any future issues and would recommend them to anyone with similar problems.

After calling a couple other places and receiving bids of $500-1000, I called this service. Chuck came out within the hour, got the job done in an hour, gave us suggestions on how to keep the sewer lines clean and came in way under other services at $160/hour ($175 with tax). We decided not to have a video sent down the pipe at this time since it's all clear, but if we did, he offers that for $200. No reason to use anyone else! We will keep his number around if we ever need service again.

I just returned from vacation to a slow/backed up sewer. I called Brian at 4pm on Friday before the Memorial Day weekend. He arranged for Chuck to come out the next morning at 10am. Chuck was great...he had the drain cleared and everything cleaned up in an hour!! Super efficient and friendly. I highly recommend Greenlake Sewer & Drain.

Brian's been her three (or maybe four) times in the last year and has always been available and on-time. On two occasions, his estimates and final costs were less than half those of "name" companies, for exaclty the same work. He's been persistent in diagnosing and solving my sewer problems. The quality of his work has been excellent. I can't say enough about Brian's performance, from the standpoint of an owner of an old home who's had lots of bad interactions with contractors.

I used a coupon for a sewer clean out. Turns out our sewer clean out is buried under a crazy contraption that requires a full removal of our downstairs sink and vanity. Greenlake Sewer was kind enough to explain what I needed to do and then reschedule shortly there after so that I could deconstruct the area before he came back. After the service he then helped me put the vanity and sink back in place. Very nice. Also informed me that while it is still functioning, I should be prepared to replace our sewer ejector pump and tank lid but did not pressure me to do it at this time.

He said my sewer pipe was too small for the camera, so he was not able to it. The job went okay.

Brian arrived on time and was fast, reasonable, clean and helpful. And unlike my previous experience 3 years ago, with another sewer clean-out company, he didn't try to sell me an $11,000 sewer job afterwards. Instead he gave me good ideas for problem prevention. I highly recommend him!

Scoped and videoed Sewer line. Very good work!

Through an Angie's list deal I hired Brian Ward of Greenlake Sewer and Drain to do a sewer cleaning with a video inspection. Communication was excellent and he called 30min. prior to arrival to let me know he was coming. Since the video showed no problems, lucky me, instead of having to clear the line he used a root treatment. He was very informative and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him.

Got clear explanation of what is covered with the deal, which is all we needed. Cleared a slow side drain. Took video of the main drain connection to the city main sewer line, which looked fine. Did not see pipe breakage so all is well.

This was a much larger problem. Brian sprayed green paint to mark the sewer line exit from my house and the turn it made toward the street. He provided me with an estimate and advised me to get multiple estimates. I did not need the coupon; the cost of his labor was less than the coupon. Brian seemed very forthright and honest; his price seemed very reasonable. I have occasional root problems with my sewer line and he would be my first call.

We contacted Brian and he gave me a clear and detailed description of our options (old clay sewer with some roots in it, and--we'd been told--two different sizes of pipe). His price was very reasonable and included video scoping so we went with him. The work was delayed because it was too cold, but then Brian showed up promptly and was super friendly and professional. Showed us what was going on, and noted that no, we do not have two differently sized pipes. He hydrojetted the line and treated it, and let us know what would be a good maintenance schedule going forward. Overall really great service; we plan to use him again in the future.

The gentleman didn't have the necessary equipment to address a larger issue with the line and had to call out another tech to complete the work. Aside from this, he was professional and friendly and seemed capable of doing straightforward jobs.

Nothing is worse than sewer problems. I needed someone right away. Looking on Angie's List I found Greenlake Sewer and Drain. I called early in the morning, received a call back that morning. Brian was able to come out the same morning. He was professional, friendly, timely, and very competent. I will definitely use them again should the need arise.
