The quality of the work was excellent. One of the chandeliers they had to install was on a 20 foot ceiling, and they got it done beautifully. They were also very punctual and responsive, from the time the initial appointment was scheduled to the time the work was delivered. Before they left, they took time to clean after themselves and left the site of the work in immaculate condition. Their prices aren't the cheapest around, but you get what you pay for with them. If you need quality electrician work delivered on time and with great quality (and don't mind paying a little extra for it), they're a great choice.

They were pretty good in all respects and their price seemed low. They were very professional and they did a good job.

I've used Switch Electrical a couple of times in the past and had been pleased with their service. During a recent wind storm there was damage to the mast connecting the power lines to my house. I got onto Switch Electric's website and saw that I could set up an appointment with them online. It was a Saturday and the closest appointment I could setup online was for that upcoming Tuesday afternoon. In the comments for my appointment I asked for an earlier appointment if available since a leaning power pole made me nervous. I was surprised to get a response from Switch Electric within a few hours stating they could be out Monday. Great customer service since it was a weekend and I didn't expect to hear back from anyone until Monday. Overall, I have found Switch Electric to have quick response times, they are always very punctual, and very professional. I would certainly use them for any electrical needs I have in the future.

I was having some rewiring done in a garage to make it into a woodshop, as well as adding lights to a carport and garage, having a generator switch installed into my main electrical panel, and installing wiring for 2 ceiling fans. The electricians were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful from the start of the estimate process. He understood what my requirements were and suggested better ways to go about them. He was very responsive as I changed the scope of work after the initial estimate, and even in the middle of work. During the install process he had good suggestions to make the lights and outlets positioned in the best possible way. Overall they did a great job and it was a good experience.

Very happy overall with Switch Electric (SE). When they came for the first appointment, we found out we had the same fan as what they were going to install. The SE installer did a quick eval of our current fan and discerned that the motor was going bad, and thus noisy. He explained our options, either install the new model fan and it goes back to the original noise levels (still loud, IMO), or we could pay another $150 for an ultra quiet Panasonic fan. Even though they didn't have one with them, we opted for the ultra quiet fan and scheduled another appointment for them to return. On the 2nd visit, the SE installer ensured that we wanted to spend the extra money for the ultra quiet fan and went ahead and installed it once we confirmed. They also were very thorough with the cleanup, always wore booties over their boots when in the house, etc. The ultra quiet fan makes a HUGE difference and we absolutely made the right decision both with the fan model and with using Switch Electric.

The only thing he did was changed out an electrical outlet. He should have installed a better quality one an included some extra wiring. It only worked for a while then it went out. I had to cal. Another electrician to repairs it.

Tyler replaced the breakers and was in and out in a timely manner. This was a great deal. I had an electrical issue earlier and for some reason the breaker didn't switch off. So replacing them was a relief! Then Tyler looked at some other issues I had, produced a bid and we scheduled that work for later in December.

Once I made contact with them, they were very responsive. They installed two bathroom fans for me. I asked for an upgrade on one because I wanted a light with it and they accommodated my request by making a second appointment to install the second fan. I had a tough time getting through to them to make an appointment in the first place because they were either too busy (too many Groupons sold!) or the computer was down. Once I got an appointment, they were great. They came to the appointments on time, were careful to cover their shoes when they came in the house, and provided protective sheets for the floor and work area so the debris would not get all over the bathrooms. When they discovered that one of the fans was actually not hooked up to anything, they went into my crawl space to hook it up for me. They installed the fans and asked me how I liked them each time before they left. I was very pleased with the fans and their professional service. I would definitely recommend them for future work!

These guys were the best. Super professional, well dressed, smart etc. We have a new (used) house and were nervous about the electrical in general, they went over everything and explained what it needed and what we could live without. Did some small stuff for free which would have taken us ages to do. Really impressed.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was great. They did a good job. There was no extra cost. Overall experience was good. I think it was expensive for what I asked them to do. They could have offered to do something else but that was my fault.

The two young men who came to do this work were exceptional. They called ahead to see if it was okay for them to come 45 minutes early. On the first snowy day of the season, I thought it was remarkable that they were still coming - let alone coming early. They arrived early as arranged and completed all the work I needed done. They replaced a few breakers in my panel and let me know that the ones they did not replace were good quality breakers in good condition. They did some troubleshooting on a couple of malfunctioning circuits in the house and ended up replacing one electrical outlet and also a GFIC. Now all the non-functional outlets are working and I'm happy! The electricians were pleasant and professional. I felt very comfortable having them in my house. The cost was very reasonable. Will definitely use Switch Electric in the future. Thanks guys!

It went okay however I did not realize that the fan did not include a light, which my old one had. If they had had one with a light with them I would have paid the extra for it, however they did not so I went with the one they brought. I should have thought to ask about this when I made the appointment. They also asked for the coupon number from Angie's list which I have not yet been able to find in my emails. I will call their office to let them know.

Getting the fan put on its own, separate switch cost an extra ~$300 on top of what they call a $500 (marked down w/ the Angie's list deal) fan install. |

Two workers came performed the work I wanted done in a neat and efficient manner. I'm very happy with Switch Electric's service. I would use them again and recommend them as well. I believe Kory was one of the techs here today.

Jeremy and his helper installed the switches with no problems. He answered my email promptly and gave me an estimate for the job of installing the new line and heater in the basement, which I have accepted.

That was good, but the advertising for this deal was misleading. I had an outlet outside that was not working, but when they came out and they had to look at another spot. It turned out to be the one thing that they were able to fix. They were able to fix that for me, when another company was not able to. I appreciate that they were about to troubleshoot that for me. Just one electrician came out and it took him about 30 minutes.

He told us at the time that the fan he was going to put in was no better than the fan we already had, and just said he would replace the motor. When he came out before he installed the motor, he gave us a couple estimates for some other projects we wanted. He also was supposed to do an inspection but I'm not sure that that happened. When he came to replace the motor, my husband asked if he would be willing to place a credit towards another project and he said he couldn't because the cost of the replacement motor was more than the new fan he would have put in. He said if we did put in a whole new fan, we would have been stuck with another project of fixing the cosmetic aspect of the ceiling modification. And then, yesterday, he had charged me an additional $23 for the job, on top of the $249 I had already paid.

The installer arrived promptly, and he and Louie Renner determined it would not be possible to install the lights in the ceiling due to space restrictions. It was confirmed that the order should be cancelled and the payment refunded.

While Switch Electric claims to have 24/7 emergency service they are booked out 2 weeks and could not accommodate me.

He was very responsive. I am sorry it did not work out but we would look into using them in the future.

Bathroom fan installation was scheduled for noon, at 11:30 Jeremy called to say problems on morning job were delaying them and he confirmed that a later time would work for me. He continued to call to update me on his estimate of arrival. Jeremy was both professional and pleasant to deal with, answered my questions and cleaned up every speck of plaster dust from the job.
