I called Sno King for a repair estimate on a broken Bosch dishwasher ...Ray was punctual, friendly, quickly identified the source of the problem, and gave me an honest assessment of both repair needs and the pros and cons of repair versus replacement. I decided to replace, but the diagnosis and advice was much appreciated and well worth the cost of the visit.

The provider never called back

He was on time, very nice and reasonably priced.

The washer circuit board blew. It was a stackable washer.which another contractor had and quot;built-inand quot; and that contractor had not replumbed the piping. In order to move the washer to get at the part, he had to move the dryer to get at the plug and hoses. The hoses were short, so Ray had to move the dryer all the way out to disconnect the hoses to get the washer in position to effect repairs.Ray was amazing. I highly recommend Sno King Applkiance.

The technician called back the next day and explained that the parts alone would approach the cost of the ovens. He recommended we purchase new ovens rather than pay him to repair the old ones. Thats honesty for you! I would definitely use him again.

It went well. He came out that same evening to fix it.

Called and left several messages and never received a response back.

After calling the repairman to discuss the problem I was experiencing with the dishwasher, he made a tentative diagnosis and an estimate of the service call charge based on that diagnosis. I decided to make an appointment for the service call and it turned out that his original assessment of the problem was correct. He made the repair quickly, and was on his way. The price was very fair and I was impressed that he was so knowledgeable about the make and model of the dishwasher that he could so accurately diagnose the problem based on my description of what I was noticing. The problem was completely resolved.

Ray arrived on time as scheduled, determined what needed to be repaired, and provided a cost for the repair. He did the work and had the dishwasher working in less than 30 minutes. I was very impressed and will certainly use him again for any future appliance repairs. I found his pricing to be very competitive.

Ron was pompous and cold during every interaction including our phone conversations. After begging him to shift my appointment to later in the day in hopes the part would arrive so I could have a stove for Mother's Day dinner, he did arrive late in the day to help me out. He installed the touch pad in about 2 minutes (and charged me $95.00 for it) and while waiting to see if it solved the problem, I asked him to look at the ice maker which hadn't made ice in 9 months. He did but he said that he saw water in the line and ice drop so it should be fine. (2 minute assessment) When I asked him why it hadn't been making ice, he said perhaps the drawer was squeezing the line but it was getting water now. He left food out of the freezer and I didn't notice it until it was thawed and spoiled. :( PLUS he was wrong. It is not making ice but he clearly didn't care to investigate the problem thoroughly to help me out. I don't know if it was because it was Friday afternoon or he wanted a separate visit charge or what?!?!?! In addition, when I asked him to look at my dryer because it was making a noise, he took one look at it and told me he and quot;didn't work on LG'sand quot; like it had a disease! When I pressed him as to why, he told me that they didn't have a distributor close so it was hard to get parts and they were made in Korea(?) and and quot;good luckand quot; finding anyone that would work on them. I told them they were plenty popular so someone must work on them and he said that it wasn't him. I can't tell you what an attitude this guy had!! I really can't! I will never have him in my home again. I can't believe he can stay in business. I had two other contractors in my home that day (carpet cleaning and handyman) and they had been lovely to work with. This guy cost me more than either of them and he did less.

I bought a refrigerator used and on Saturday hauled it home. We plugged in and thought it was working fine because you could feel it getting cold in the freezer. We filled the refrigerator with food from our old refrigerator, unplugged the old one, and took it outside to have someone come get it. When we got up the next morning, I opened the main refrigerator and knew something was wrong; it wasn't cold. The freezer was working fine. We took the food out, put as much of it as we could in ice chests, and put everything on the poarch. First thing Monday morning I got on Angie's List to got some recommendations for refrigerator repair companies. The first number I called was Sno-King Appliance but the message machine said they wouldn't be back in town until tomorrow. I thought that would be too long so i called another recommeded company. They said they didn't work on my particular brand of refrigerator, but they gave me a number of a company that did. I looked at two more companies that were recommended, but they were located in South Seattle and I live right up by the Snohomish county line and I figured they would charge me a large travel fee. I called the company whose number was given to me. They said they would have a person out somewhere between one and four oclock on Wednesday, that there was a $125.00 initial charge, and then I would need to pay for labor and parts. I felt I was over a barrel and didn't have any choice so I scheduled them. Tuesday morning I called Sno-King Appliance and talked to Pat-the owner and explained my situation. He said he could be there sometime between one to three that day. I called the other company and canceled my appointment. About 1:15 there was a knock on the door and there was Pat. He came in and immediately started taking the inside of the refrigerator apart. It was very clear by how fast he was able to work that he knew what he was doing. He very shortly determined that the motor on the fan that blows cold air from the freezer sections to the main section was faulty. He went out to his truck to see if he had a fan to replace the bad one. He came back and said he didn't have that fan. I thought to myself and quot;Oh boy here we go. It's going to be at least one more day if not more before this refrigerator gets fixedand quot; To my happy surprise Pat said he'd be back in about an hour because he was going into Seattle to get a fan. About an hour later he was back and had the fan installed just as quickly as he had taken it out. If you need your refrigerator repaired (I'll bet he's as good with other appliances as he is with refrigerators) and you don't want to feel like they have you over a barrel or that you are being taken, CALL THIS COMPANY!

Ray was very nice, easy to make an appointment with and showed up on time (early even). I just wish I knew he didn't work on sealed systems (refrigerator/freezer) before he came out the house. It would have saved everyone time.

The technician arrived on time. He was professional and courteous. He performed the repairs quickly and to my satisfaction. The cost was reasonable, and I would reccommend this company to others requiring appliance repair.

He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem right away, fixed it and I had my dryer back in less than an hour. I was very happy with the professional service, the cost and everything. I would definitely hire Sno King Appliance Service again in the future.

Excellent- great response time, prompt service, gave me ideas/suggestions and installed the time promptly when it arrived as it needed to be ordered. From his first visit on Feb 1, 2013 (a Friday) by 7pm on Feb 4 the timer wa installed and all was working as it should. Yippee., no moe going downstairs every 10 minutes t see if he weasher really did drain, re-fill , spin, rinse, drain and spin again. Thank you.

Ray arrived (on time) to diagnose problem. His diagnosis was quick and accurate. His service feefor this visit was very reasonable. A few days later he came back (on schedule) with the parts (expensive circuit board) and did the repair quickly. The oven has worked well for the past couple weeks since the repair.

Would use this company again in a heartbeat. Our oven window shattered and broke after cool water was accidentally poured in it. I checked Angie's list, called sno-king, they called me right back, asked for model/serial number, ordered the part, gave me approximate price, and told me when it would be in and they could install it. They were punctual, professional, worked efficiently, cleaned up carefully, did an outstanding job, and the price was very reasonable. Hassle free! Appreciated everything about this experience.

About 3 months ago our Kitchen Aid dishwasher, about 3 years old, starting making very loud noises during the wash cycle. This dishwasher is normally pretty quiet, so this was a big change. We had a Sears repairman out who told us that the dishwasher was clogged and that we needed to run a cleaning product through it. We did this, but there was no change, and this past weekend the noise was significantly louder. Aha, Angie's List to the rescue. We called on Sunday and left a message which was returned on Monday. Ray came out yesterday, Tuesday, and in no time flat determined that the motor was broken and we would need to replace it. It was clear in conversation with him that he knew exactly what he was doing. He returned today, only a day later, with the new motor and had it installed amazingly quickly, I would say 15-20 minutes. The dishwasher sounds fantastic. This guy knows what he is doing, and does it easily, quickly, and with no fanfare. A+ and lots of appreciation from us. Ray will be our go-to appliance repairperson from now on.

The freezer of my Fridge ( Westinghouse) was icing up and the automatic ice door wasnt working. Ray came out and diagnosed the problem. Went home and ordered the parts needed and called to schedule the repair date. Each time he arrived exactly on time (or early) Repair went very well he was finished in less than an hour. He was very competent, quick and professional. the charges seemed reasonable and the Refrigerator is working perfectly now.

The service man called me back quickly. Arranged to come out between 4:00 - 6:00pm. He was on time for the first visit and quickly diagnosed the problem. The model number had been removed so he had to guess to buy a part to repair it. In two days he was back again, but found the part would not fit. He then cleverly manufactured a solution from the existing hose and completed the repair. As indicated above his charge was too low in my mind for the time and effort he expended. I told him I was going to pay him $120. He said that was not necessary...then I explained my satisfaction with the time and effort he had expended (including coming to my home on Friday evening to finish the job.) I just felt he earned it. Especially since I had other bids for service.

Overall it was a stress free experience -- and much better than any GE repairman I had used in the past.

The job was done in a timely manner.

I called Ray on Monday (a holiday) and left a message. He called back within a few hours and was available to come out the following day. Due to our schedule, we made an appointment for 2 days out. He took information on our dryer and was able to make sure and have the part before coming out. When he arrived we also had a freezer door handle that had come off. He fixed that as well. Friendly guy...would definitely call again when we need appliance repair.
