I had an upstairs water leak that required removal of about 50 sq ft of drywall from the ceiling in my entryway and living room. The crew from Hedlund Painting did a fantastic job of replacing the drywall, taping, texturing and painting. They were conscientious, timely and professional. The transition from the new drywall to existing drywall is seamless. You can't even tell there was a problem. Hedlund Painting's estimate was competitive with other companies (when considering drywall and paint) and they came in right on bid.

Very dissatisfied with all areas of their service. Took 3 visits to do contracted work. Took my time to do inspection of work rather than Hedlund. Never told when painters would show up. Painted slider door stuck and needed re-painting. Cost was high compared to amount and quality of work. I asked for a cost breakdown during contact signing, and throughout the work; received it at end of job. I was surprised that it included cost for come-back visits; versus doing the work correctly the first time.

They were on time and professional. Quality looks great also.

I received a number of bids from Angie's List right away. I spoke with Zakary Fike at Hedlund Painting over the phone to discuss the nature of the work that I needed. Zakary is very professional and friendly between the multiple phone calls and text follow ups. In a matter of a few days, he sent a team of 2 gentlemen to paint my garage door. They were both very professional and friendly as well. I will definitely recommend Hedlund Painting to my family and friends!

I was very happy with the painting and general repair done by Hedlund. Communication was very good from the start especially considering that I don't live in the house being worked on. The details on what was done were clear and the work was started and completed on time. My tenants had positive things to say about the courtesy and cleanliness of the workers. The end result was my house looks much better now and the noticeable damaged areas are fixed.

I am SO happy I hired Hedlund Painting to paint the inside of my new home! I was referred to Hedlund Painting by my friend/real estate broker, and I immediately was impressed by their responsiveness and ability to navigate my busy schedule in order to meet in person to get a quote. When I chose to move forward with their estimate, Zakary and his team did an AMAZING job to schedule my paint work in the exact 2 days I needed it to be done (right before my movers arrived - did I mention that I was in the middle of a cross-country move)?! The paint job took 2 days, and each day, the painters arrived right on time. 8AM sharp. They worked hard, took short, time-appropriate, and thoughtfully-timed breaks, and were very careful about taking their booties on/off and keeping everything tidy. Our home's prior owner left many scuffs, nail holes, and even drill holes - and Hedlund's skilled painters covered/repaired them like new! They did such a great job - I asked Zakary if they could paint 2 more rooms - and he agreed! Even with the 2 additional rooms, the paint job finished EARLY (it took 1.5 days instead of 2), and the painters did an PHENOMENAL JOB cleaning up the paint, dust, etc. before they left. I have never been so pleased with a referral from a friend/colleague, and I would 100% use Hedlund again for all future painting needs.

I hired these guys because because they could take on the entire project and I wouldn't have to try to be the contractor (a mistake I've made a lot in the past to try and save money). They did a home inspection (that I paid for) and told me exactly what they'd do to fix the house and get it looking awesome. I hired them and they did exactly that; showed up on time every day, cleaned up every day and were professional from the beginning to the end. The price I paid was very fair and I'm really glad I hired them. They refunded the money for the inspection since I hired them.

I had a great experience from beginning to end. They were quick to respond to questions and any concerns I had. Everyone did there job in a very respectful and professional way.

The ceiling's lath and plaster tear-out, sheet rocking, smooth finish and entire room repaint occurred during Seattle's 2 week snowfall in early February. The crew came from different parts of the city and came when they could, keeping in touch with each other, me, the homeowner and the tenants living in the house. They were quiet, polite, caring of each other and the materials. They were clean, informative, willing and it appeared they were quite knowledgeable and skilled at what they did. The job went very well from start to finish. Clear communication and you don't feel like these guys are just trying to get as much money as they can from you. Very detail-oriented. You can tell that they care a lot about the end result. One thing in particular I really appreciate was that corners were not cut when it came to prepping. The detail in pretring says it all that they really care about there work and go done in a timely manner. Anytime I called if they didn't answer the phone like usual I got a call back within the next 24 hours. I really appreciated that as well. The hole that was fixed on one of my walls a blends in so well that you can't even tell. Everyone was very professional and I am very pleased with their business. As well as a paint there are no streeks or drinp marks. Very pleased and definitely recommend.

My experience with these guys are overall great! It was September 2018, the last month of the sunny season here in western WA for an exterior painting job. My first house was purchased on mid-September on a Friday, I scheduled Hedlund came in the next Monday. Unfortunately there was some previous delays due to mainly the weather. So they delayed my work to next week. I received a call on the Sunday night before telling me they couldn't come the next day. To me that's a little late for notification. But when they came, they did a fantastic job, I spent the most $$$ for the painting beside other home improvements (bathroom remodeling, backyard, etc) going on at the same time. But the money I paid definitely worth the quality and professionalism. It was moving time so I was tired and under pressure of getting everything right. This is my first home and I was only 24. I have to say I was pleased by the quality and professionalism. 2 weeks after into the job these guys completed everything. So far 4 months after the painting, everything still looks new. I would definitely recommend Hedlund Painting. If I have anything I need in the future, I will give them a call.

My cabinets look beautiful! The painting is flawless. My kitchen looks completely transformed! Hedlund Painting is easy to work with, they asked excellent questions about the project and what we wanted, and stopped by to check on work as it progressed. The workers were friendly, punctual, and hardworking. I have used Hedlund Painting for 2 large painting projects and they were excellent each time. I highly recommend them.

It went very well. Our salesperson, Zakary, helped us pick the colors, (at our request) which we are very happy with (gray with white trim and Cayenne red door). Our painting crew was Sophia and Raul, who we really liked. They did great work, cleaned up after themselves and arrived when they said they would arrive. They were also very friendly and pleasant to talk with. We had a couple of rotted window frames and Hedlund provided a carpenter who replaced them with new, cedar frames and they look great. He also fixed a couple of previously damaged siding boards, and you cannot tell which ones are new. It was easy communicating with Hedlund via either phone or email. Our house is in Kenmore, but this form won't let me just write that, for the location. Our cost was about $11,000 but this form wouldn't let me write that, either. Kept saying $11,000 was "invalid."

Hedlund is not a huge company across the nation and that is a good thing. You're working with a local, professional, quality-focused business with Hedlund. They provided prompt service and took the time to walk through and explain things simply and honestly. I liked how Zakary explained the different problems about painting my house (crumbly chimney etc) and the options . They were a bit more money because this is not a slap dash operation and they are going to do it the right way.

The Hedlund team was exceptional. Considering this is a very busy time for the Northwest, Hedlund was very responsive. Zakary called and came out to do an original inspection and rough estimate. Chris forwarded the contract, which was accurate in detail and cost. Marlon led the paint team, where he did the pressure washing, rough sanding, prep and minor repairs, and primer/paint. Very happy with the results...the house looks totally refreshed and new. Strongly recommend the Hedlund team for painting needs.

Difficulty getting estimate for carpentry and lack of availability of carpenter
