It went well, as it has every year. The company contacts me to remind me that it's time for a service call. The technician was polite and considerate. He found problems that needed attention. He checked with the company and found that my warranty on the furnace is still good, so there was no additional charge for the repairs.

This is a first-rate company. I waited till June to write this report to make certain of the a/c installation. I needed a few adjustments and they more than made good. They do good work and they stand behind their work. Highly recommended.

Very professional, very detailed quote, stayed on budget, always on time. They came back after the install to ensure that everything was done correctly, and they proactively fixed a couple of minor issues.

Found some wet carpet in the basement and a puddle next to my furnace one evening. Called Ballard Gas the next morning. They had a repairmen out a few hours later to replace the pump. He gave me some pointers on how to keep it clean and functioning.

I was very impressed with everyone at Ballard Natural Gas Service. From Liz and Kathleen at the office, Matt the serviceman, Vern my trusty salesman for both jobs, to Jerrimy and of course Jay who did such a great job. I knew little about all this when I began and they were all patient in answering my questions. Even the paperwork for the loan was done over the phone with ease. Their customer service is top notch and everyone was punctual and professional. I would recommend BNGS to everyone.

Ballard was great with communication and options. I was given literature on my products as well as reference numbers to call about my products and service. I actually called about ten of these references and received an incredible amount of input about my chosen products and the users personal experiences. From my first phone call to the follow up visit to program the thermostat, everyone called before they came, every visit was timely and every person I spoke to was professional. I particularly liked the installer and found him to be a wealth of knowledge on lots of different methods of heating/cooling. At this point we have not had the weather to need the cooling part of the heat pump so I am unable to report on it's effectiveness, but Ballard was amazing and I feel confident that if we do have a problem they will happily follow up with us.

Service was good. Technician was late. Resolved problem right away. Furnace worked for several days and then started to pur out cold air isntead of hot air. Called back several days later and they will come back for not cost to try to resolve the problem.

They were great from start to finish. I had to get a new furnace fairly quickly when a crack was discovered in the heat exchanger of my old furnace. They came out to give me a proposal, and were able to schedule me for the next day since I was without heat. Everything went very smoothly. They cleaned up nicely, and provided me with all the paperwork for the various rebates I had qualified for. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

We paid quite a bit of money. The services provided by them included the sale of the air pump and the furnace. They also installed it and we also made a call for a blown fuse. They were prompt, customer service oriented, and thorough. Jason is who we kind of worked with from beginning to end. He called us on his off days. He has come here after hours. They do have a lot of products and services. They definitely provide good quality.

Things went fine. Our home was cold, and when they left, it was warm.

Ballard Gas never responded to my web request via their website. When I called I was kept on hold for a long time then told they didn't handle hot water heating systems and referred somewhere else.

They were very thorough and arranged to have PSE check to make sure that we had enough electrical power to our home as well as have an electrical contractor, As You Wish Electric, check out our electrical panel to make sure there would be no overload problems. As it turned out, we did have enough power to the house, but we did need a new electrical panel (the old one was 40+ years old). The installation of the furnaces (2) and heat pump was done in three days. We are extremely happy and impressed with the efficiency and professionalism by all the members of the Ballard Natural Gas team, from the initial contact and estimate by Taylor; the installations of all three units by Jay (all alone); the refrigeration technician Scott, who got the heat pump going; and the cleaning of the air ducts by Jerrimy. We would definitely recommend Ballard Natural Gas Services to any prospective customer. They obviously train their people well.

I understand being charged for the service call ($89), but did he really have to charge me $52 to tighten the screws? Other than being charged a crazy amount to tighten some screws, I was very pleased with the service and glad to have my heater working again.

We worked with Brandon for the initial sales call, walk-through and estimate; plus the final walk-through and payment. He made us feel at ease and was very professional. We paid exactly what he estimated. There were no hidden fees, or "gotchas" during install. BNG earned a loyal customer through Brandon's accurate, honest work. We talked with Brandon in September. Installation could not begin until November, due to this being the busy season for PSE in terms of installing gas lines from the street and installing our meter. The installation was very smooth. Over two days, workers removed the old furnace, and installed the new one, plumbing the gas line and water line for the pump as necessary. The installer (whose name escapes me now) was very nice and professional. He checked in with me when I got home from work each day to show me progress and answer questions I had. He easily put in 10-12 hour days to get the new furnace up and running. I believe he was at our house until 9PM the second day to make this happen and get us warm. The only reason I give the grade of "B" for overall satisfaction is that they left a bit of a mess in our basement when all was said and done. Little effort was made to clean up the soot and grime from removing the old oil furnace. I spent 2-3 hours of my own time mopping up, trying to get the grime off the concrete floor. Our pets' food and litter boxes are kept in the basement, and their feet became dirty from walking on the basement floor. We pointed this out during our final walkthrough, and were kind of surprised that no offer was made to make it right, although it was noted that the work area was not cleaned up to our satisfaction on our final bill and in their records. So overall, sales, estimation, installation were great. We love our new furnace and are very pleased with the professionalism of the BNG crew. We plan to use BNG again when we upgrade our water heater this year. The "B" grade reflects the mess left at the end and the amount of my own time spent cleaning.

They were great and down to earth. They were very responsive and actually gave me a lot of hints and ideas of things I could do myself to save money.

They were an excellent company to work with. They did a thorough assessment of my home in preparing their quote. They took the time to answer all my questions and gave me all the information I needed to make an informed decision about the equipment I would need. They were also willing to address issues of shoddy workmanship from previous remodeling jobs (this is an older home and has been remodeled several times). They provided a detailed quote and completed all the work that was included in it. The installer was always on time, pleasant to have here, and did an excellent job of cleaning up after himself. Even though he forgot to install one of the vents, he came back and completed it with no complaints and profuse apologies. The salesman came back after the installation was complete for a walk through to assure that the work had been done satisfactorily. One night before the installation was complete, the thermostat began malfunctioning. Not knowing who to call, I called the salesman's cell phone. He not only answered the call but walked me through the solution and assured me that I could call him any time with questions or concerns. I couldn't have asked for better service from start to finish!

What I really liked about them was that I called them a month before we used them to ask if there was anything they could do to extend the life of our hot water heater. They told us that they couldn't do anything about it and they would feel bad taking our money to do it. When our hot water heater died, I called them without looking at any other place because of their honesty.

They are very detailed. They exceded up to my expectations.

There were some unexpected complications due to existing plumbing but they worked around them. Everything turned out fine.

They installed our new furnace. They did a really good job, they had great customer service. We have had no problems. They were close in price with the other estimates I received. They were very attentive.

Overall, I was very satisfied with Ballard Natural Gas. Their price was very reasonable. A friend of mine had cost compared a bunch of companies and I compared Ballard Natural Gas with the cheapest person my friend found. They were basically the same in terms of price. Ballard Natural Gas was extremely responsive in terms of providing a detailed estimate, explaining a bunch of things to me, telling me the difference between different furnace models, and giving me options in the end to choose what's best for me. Whenever I had a question, they answered it quickly. They came in, did the job as planned, everything looks perfect. The installer explained everything to me, all the different components, and even took the time to set up my thermostat for me. The following day, the project manager comes back to double check everything, answer any other questions, before collecting payment. The only small issue I had with them was they had to cancel their originally scheduled install appointment but forgot to tell me about it until 30-45 minutes after the appointment. But they had a good reason to do so as they wanted to help out some people whose furnace had actually failed and didn't have heat. They apologized profusely and offered me duct cleaning for free, which I appreciated. I think this shows how dedicated they are to customer service and building customer loyalty. Overall, I absolutely recommend Ballard Natural Gas and would not hesitate to call them up again if I needed some other services.
