I absolutely love it, except for one section of the concrete that was poured where there is a huge gaping hole on the side of the front walkway. It's in the front of my house that faces the street and it is ugly. Jason’s remedy for this was to put dirt down in front of it to cover the hole. This was supposed to be a twofold solution, it covered up the gaping hole and it prevented water from getting under the concrete and eroding it over time. I immediately told him that I was concerned about this and asked if he would take care of. I mostly didn't like that it was esthetically unpleasant to look at and I had to cover it with dirt. I wanted the beauty of this new walk way to be exposed so that you could see it from the street and add curb appeal to my home. Jason originally told me that he would work with me to see what he could do and would possibly add more cement to that area. He came out and his suggestion was to put dirt around it. His answer frustrates me, all I wanted him to do was add more concrete to that section and blend it with the existing structure. I wasn't asking that it be dug up and re-laid. His response to me the second time that I emailed him and asked him if it was still his intention to correct the issue was "You can walk on it, it is not broken or falling part, and it looks good" and "Please stop worrying, if it was an issue I would fix it", unfortunately, that section looks really bad and to me is an issue. I'm very disappointed that he did not come out and resolve this as he said he would and isn't willing to stand behind his work. I'm sure it would have taken him no more than 30 minutes to correct and this would have been a glowing report instead of a dissatisfied one. I gave him every opportunity to correct the problem and waited several months so this report is not done in a hasty manner. I would not recommend him again because although he said he would fix it that really wasn't the case.
Description of Work: I want to start out by saying that the design that Jason came up with is beautiful. I had the general concept of what I wanted done but he came up with how it would be laid out and executed. It is a walkway that connects to my front porch and around the side of the house and connects to a patio that surrounds my deck. He excavated the area, laid/designed the molds and had the concrete poured.

The driveway is very slippery when wet, and I have fallen twice recently. Jason and his worker arrived on time, were friendly, and did exactly what I had asked for. I am very pleased with their work and would certainly call on them again if the need arose.
Description of Work: I have a short but steep driveway. I steps created to the side of the drive for the sake of safety.

The overall experience was great. Jason came out to give the estimate on short notice, was happy to talk through fine details and options, suggested using more rebar than I'd planned, and came up with an estimate for how much concrete we'd need. I received four estimates for this job. Jason's was second to lowest, but I felt it was more complete / detail-oriented than the lowest bid, and it was less than half (!) the cost of the highest bid. They came out the day before the pour to grade/level the garage surface to my specs, grade the garbage can pad area, and set the rebar. The day of the pour, Jason showed up with two additional crew members, masked off the drywall in the garage to protect it from the wet concrete, put up plastic tarps to protect the concrete from the rain as it was drying, and then spent most of the day on the job perfecting the hard-trowel garage finish. They humored us by letting our kids put their hand/foot prints in the garbage can pad as it was drying. Jason's concrete material estimate was perfect---we had 1/4 yard left in the truck at the end (just enough that we didn't run out, but minimize paying for too much extra). I also appreciated that I paid the material cost of the concrete directly to the supplier and paid Jason separately for the labor and rebar materials. The hard-trowel garage slab finish came out looking very good, including the edge work on the front and back (where the new slab joins to the old). Jason and his crew were a pleasure to work with, their price was fair, the quality of work was very high, and I'd certainly hire them again.
Description of Work: Poured an approx. 20' x 20' replacement garage slab, filled a 1' x 30' cut in basement slab, and poured a 7' x 3' pad for garbage cans.

It was great! Jason suggested adding a little color to the concrete to match the old concrete stairs he was tying the patio into. He recommended the right surface finish. His crew came out and hand excavated what was necessary. They put iin drain tile and gravel under the concrete. It was very hot the week of the installation, so the cement trucks were hot. The finish as a result was not quite perfect, but almost. This is the second job I've had Jason perform for me. He does great work, is reliable, and does it all for a great price.
Description of Work: Jason installed a 6 foot high concrete retaining wall, a 25 X 16 foot patio, and ampatheater stairs with another 8 X 5 concrete lower deck. He also leveled the yard behind the retaining wall.

I can only say they were not responsive to my 2 email requests for a bid (I included detailed information in my first email). It's been just over 2 weeks since my first email, and I haven't heard from them.
Description of Work: I emailed 'All Aspects Concrete' twice through Angie's List: 2 weeks ago and again last week (I wanted to give them a second chance in case they hadn't received my first email), but I haven't heard back from the company. That's disappointing, especially given the past positive reports I see on Angie's List.

The experience with All Aspects was great. Jason was right on time with all appointments. The design and end result turned out better than I even imagined. We wanted exposed aggregate to match the existing concrete and they were able to match the existing almost perfectly. I will use them for any future concrete projects and will be recommending them to friends.

Jason Fletcher, owner of the company promtly returned my call and made arrangements the next day to come out and give me an estimate. I wanted a new driveway, sidewalk and stairs and walkway. He was very professional and offered meaningful suggestions to improve on my original plan. (no additiona costs) My driveway was original to the house (1971) and was in bad shape. He replaced the old concrete with exposed aggregate and did a outstanding job. He was there everday until the job was completed. (Total three days) We had a couple of rain days that delayed the job and Jason called me every morning to touch base with me regarding the weather. His crew that worked with him was polite and very caring regarding our plants and shrubs. He finished the job on a Saturday evening and returned the following Sunday and restored all of our landscaping to better than how he found it. The clean up was superb! It was a large job and was handled expertly. I would recommend Jason to anyone needing concrete work.

Jason, the owner and concrete master, did a great job and he and his team was very speedy over a 4 day period. We caught a break in the weather, so that wasn't a factor. Jason was responsive and very professional. He was creative in laying the edge forms, curving the new sidewalk and blending it into the curved edges of the driveway. He also laid extra irrigation pipes and a drain pipe under the new driveway. Would use him again for other projects....
Description of Work: Removed old asphalt driveway and walkway and parking pad; replaced with concrete. Used 22 yards of concrete, approximately 1600 sq ft covered. Jason design the edges in graceful, but practical curves. The underlayment was in good condition and did not need to be replaced.

He provided me with a quote, I hired him, and then he walked off the job. He refused to do the work that he bid on. I got five different bids and I selected him. When he showed up the second day he refused to correct problems with the job so he packed up his things and left. Before he started I took him to several sites with similar concrete work so we had invested considerable time together; for him to walk off the job like that was inappropriate, unprofessional, and unexpected.

Fantastic. Jason was professional, on-time, very reasonably priced, and did great work. He was extremely easy to work with. I had an idea of what I wanted the driveway to look like, but Jason really knows his craft and described the options to me in detail, the costs and the pros and cons for each. In the end we went with his suggestions and it came out better than I expected. So far I haven't had any water in my basement even with the strange rains this year and I get tons of compliments on the driveway. While he was working on my driveway, I also needed a large concrete box for the egress window I was putting in. I was stressed but Jason took this job on for me last minute and it also came out great for a very reasonable rate again. I would use them for all my concrete jobs.
Description of Work: Was having problems with my old driveway. It was just two strips of concrete for the tires but had sunk in the ground and collecting large puddles of water that would force its way into my basement. The plan was to tear up what's there, grade it away from the house, and pour a thick slab of concrete for the driveway.

On time, on budget, no hassles, fully satisfied. I made one call to Jason, he promptly met to discuss scope and options, provided an estimate that night and responded to my subsequent request to add a drainage pipe under the driveway to connect a downspout to an existing drainage line. I wanted the work started in four weeks, which he did exactly as promised. He was straight forward, clear and dependable.
Description of Work: Removed 20 year old aggregate driveway that had sunk a few inches and was crumbling. Regraded with crushed rock, compacted, added rebar, and replaced with new aggragate slightly colored to help match walkway. Cleaned up and replaced rotted siding along driveway.

Was so EASY dealing with Jason. It did take a little bit longer than initially planned, but I'd allowed for that with scheduling (isn't that how it always goes?). He was consistently cheerful, explained what he was doing and why, and did everything he said he would do. He even distributed the excavated dirt to other areas of my yard, near where I wanted it for upcoming projects. I was a bit surprised to pay for the concrete directly, but it wasn't a problem. The only problem we had was where the tools were rinsed off. It left quite a bit of concrete near my back fence, forming a hard, impermeable shell over the ground - and around a large area of my big trees. They'd said that it would rinse away and not be noticed, but that wasn't at all the case. I wasn't able to break it up with tools at hand, so he agreed to come and remove it. That was a holiday weekend, and we didn't see him when agreed, and had to call back. He did come the next time and removed a large amount of it, but to my surprise, I had to remove another load before it was really gone. A little bit more rinsing the first time would have prevented all the extra work and the delay in my other project. But the concrete patio itself? Looks fine. Not as gorgeous dry as the pictures of them wet, but it's a nice, professional-looking patio, and the sandstone texture is exactly right. I'm happy with it.
Description of Work: Removed old patio from house (which turned out to be part of the foundation and much thicker than expected). Excavated larger area for new larger patio. Poured new patio with a sandstone finish. Also dug and poured holes for balcony piers in indicated locations.

This was the first time using Angies Llist, and it was worth the membership. Jason was wonderful to work with, gave a very professional bid written as a proper invoice detailing exactly what work would be performed and the cost. The prep work and the actual grading of the walk is perfect. The job was done so professionally, the tree root totally removed, he added rebar to the right side extention and it looks great with our existing driveway. It was aggregate concrete and he was able to match the rock size so it looks identical to what our 1987 concrete looks like (just a bit lighter for now as it's new). When I first talked to Jason, he said he was scheduling out a couple of weeks, but when I decidied to use him, he surprised me and was able to do the job two days later. The job was completed in one day. They cleaned up everything and hauled it away. It looked better when they left then when they first started. I cannot say enought good things about Jason and his company. Since this job was done, several friends including my Dad (who really knows quality and understands the concrete process) have said the job was done right and very professional. I highly reccommend this company.
Description of Work: We had a large pine tree taken out, the roots had raised part of the walkway towards our home. The tree root was removed by them and then a larger walkway was poured to join steps leading to our front door. A larger walkway was poured with a radius to allow easier and more inviting access. They also extended on side of our driveway that had originally been poured larger at the top and more narrow at the bottom. It was extended to the end of our garage on the right hand size approx. 18" at the top and then angled to approx 36" on the bottom.

The service was great. Jason answered any "dumb" questions we had. He knows his business. He also helped with a foundation problem and filled that with concrete. We never felt that our questions were annoying and he walked us through the entire process patiently. We particulary liked that we did not have to finance him with any down payments and worry about whether he was going to come back or not which has happened with other contractors.
Description of Work: We needed a 12x17 slab poured for our new tool shed area under our deck. Jason performed the grading and utilized the excess dirt in another area of our yard. He transitioned the new concrete to the existing concrete beautifully. We plan on using him again when our driveway will be replaced in the coming year. Highly recommend this company.

Jason and his associate Shane did an incredible job. Jason was my last of 6 quotations for the job, but he won me over by his flexibility, punctuality, reasonable prices and general willingness to work to meet our requirements. Trust me, my wife and I can be a pain to work with. He gave us exactly what we were looking for. I can't say enough about how pleased we were with the finished product. The stairs and concrete look amazing. Jason was a very straighforward and easy person to work with. He was always on time, extremely courteous and did exactly what he said he was going to do. I would be happy to provide a reference for him at any time and would definitely employ his services again in the future.
Description of Work: Replacement of 10 entryway/front stairs to our house, in between established and uneven rockery. Included an additional walkway approximately 9x4 feet. Demolition of old stairs, grading, rebar, light wash to slightly expose sand and rock surface.Toe kicks on steps.

We are totally satisfied with the job done by All Aspects. The finshed product looks good and works well. They cleaned up very well after an extremely muddy job. (It rained all the time they were working.) I will definately have them back for my next concrete project.
Description of Work: Jason and crew replaced a broken concrete slab in our home's front walkway which, due to the break, was directing rain water against the foundation. In addition, they installed drains to direct water collecting under the concrete into the home's drainfield. The finished product is sloped perfectly to direct water away from the foundation, collect it and direct it into the drainfield.

My project: I'm installing a MaxJax portable car lift which requires a flat concrete surface, minimum 3000 PSI strength, minimum 4" depth. I had my concrete tested for strength (8400 PSI) and then drilled holes for the anchors. I discovered that the depth wasn't quite 4", at least as far as I could tell at the time, so better safe than sorry I decided to have a new pad poured. Jason and I arranged a time to meet at my home on 12/26 to discuss the project. He listened to what I was trying to do, offered some suggestions, and then offered an estimate on the spot. I had another concrete company coming over later to provide an estimate so I didn't accept right away. The other company was $900 more for the same job, so I called Jason and we arranged to have the work done on 1/15. Jason and his partner showed up on time, got to work right away, and kept things clean (especially with the concrete cutting saw which results in dust and water everywhere) as they went. I'm glad I hung some plastic sheeting to close off the area. After they knocked the old concrete out with a sledge hammer and digging bar, they dug out the section to a depth of 8", keeping the existing sand as a base. They drilled holes into the surrounding concrete roughly every 2' to tie the new slab into the existing concrete. They also cleared out a section under the surrounding concrete so that the new concrete would be keyed under for additional strength. The concrete truck arrived (Jason helped move the tree branches over my driveway with a broom so they wouldn't break) and poured the concrete into the waiting hole. From that point it took roughly 3 hours to get the concrete to set hard enough do they could do the finishing trowel work. Overall I'm pleased with the result, and Jason was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: Cut and removed a 15' x 3' section of concrete in garage, drilled horizontal holes in remaing concrete for rebar to tie in, poured a thicker slab to replaced the removed section. Note that cost includes tax, so the base cost was $1200.

Jason arrived on time for the estimate and asked multiple questions to ensure he understood what I was looking for. He did take some time to get back to me with an estimate, but it was worth the wait. He started the job two weeks early, and we were able to use the pad by the 4th of July, Yeah. Once he starts the job he works with focus each and every day 6-9 hours depending on where he was at it in the project. He addressed some of the unexpected sub terrain issues, instead of ignoring them or covering them up, like many other contractors. His estimate didn't include rebar, but my dirt required it. He added a maze of rebar at no additional cost and a huge amount of gravel. My new pad will outlast my house. Therefore, if my drive way fails, he is the only guy I will call
Description of Work: I had a 200 sq ft rectangular pad removed and had 700 sq ft Winding, stamped, stamped, and stained concrete pad. This was not a replacement it was remodel.

We had alittle trouble arriving at a date to do the project, with the holidays and vacation plans. All we did was move our cars and clear the patio, all the work was done while we were at work. One day was disrepair, the next day the concrete was poured. The third day a helper came back and cleaned up (pretty h****** the adjoining garden and flag stone with the hose) My neighbor who was home said that the workmen were at it consistantly all day. The front driveway was stained to dull the lightness of the new concrete. The back patio was given a pea gravel topping to match the concrete pavers already in place. Jason was the only estimate I got that included rebar, fiber in the concrete, and expansion joints to avoid future cracking in an area with settling issues. One guy, also from Angies List told me it was concrete and it was going to crack and another just gave me a number $$ on the back of a business card. Jason was a pleasure to work with as well as businessman who knows his business.
Description of Work: My driveway at the front of my house (30'X40") was badly cracked as was a small back patio. I wanted both removed and and replaced. Jason came out, discussed the project and gave me an estimate within a day or so of my call. Although his estimate was not the lowest I felt it was most likely to be successful after doing alittle research on the web about concrete construction. He performed as promised and we are very pleased with the result.
