Where do I start?! I have waited months to write my review because I was just so fed up with this company and its sister company, "Bird Busters" I just didn't want to think about them any longer. That Bad. In very early Spring last year, a bird made its home in our bathroom ceiling/walls. Willards assessed the situation and decided to put mesh on our vents that did not have mesh on them. (This same company meshed our vents a year prior but for some reason didn't include all vents, just a few) What happens when you place mesh on vents near where the said trapped animal is residing? IT get trapped! After noticing debris on meshed vent nearest the bathroom I called the company again and they sent out additional techs to investigate. This team installed one way doors so the bird could fly out but not back in. Great. Months went by and Williards/Bird Busters called to say they hadn't been paid. I told them I didn't know the job was done because they'd left the one way doors (think big turkey basters) hanging out of my vent. Techs were sent again and the one way doors were removed and the mesh put back. A few days later I noticed that my dryer wasn't working very well and overheating. I looked at the replaced mesh and noticed that there were several layers of mesh inside the vent, as if several pieces and been shoved into place, behind the mesh. I called Williards/Bird Busters and was told they'd never heard of such a thing. Only because I insisted, techs were AGAIN sent out to my home. They techs climbed the ladders, removed the mesh only to find that yes, each vent had a few layers of cut mesh stuffed inside keeping the bathroom and dryer vents from working properly - they were essentially jammed shut. I took pictures to document. Not only is this shoddy work it's downright dangerous. The techs removed the mesh completely for the dryer vents (2). Williards/BIrd Busters has yet to reimburse me for the mesh they put up on two vents only to dismantle because of poor workmanship that could have put my family in danger (in the case the dryer overheated). We are moving to a new home next month and I will not be using Williards/BIrd Busters to critter proof.

The tech spent so much time chatting as working and didn't spent much time under the house. He was short of breath each time he came up and I wondered if the mask was inadequate. He spent little time here, did little work and the charge was excessive, higher than any company I got bid from later. Didn't return a phone call as promised.

When I called they sent someone out the same day, to do the initial pest control work and to give an estimate for the clean-out. On all four visits the folks were punctual, very pleasant, and polite. The gentleman doing the pest control work was thorough in explaining what he was doing. The two who did the cleanout were very thorough about cleanup afterwards, which I appreciated. That was a disgusting job so even though $850 might sound like a lot, as far as I'm concerned worth every penny.

The fellow that they sent was polite, knowledgeable and prompt . I was in a panic as a rodent (probably a rat) had died in the walls of the kitchen and it smelled bad! He tried to reach the wall where the rat died but it was impossible without tearing the walls apart.' He suggested that we NOT use poiso

I called on a Thursday and they sent a tech out on Monday, several days sooner than the other exterminator I called would have responded. Zach was very personable, professional and thorough. He arrived when expected and took care not to track dirt into the house. After we explained that we had been hearing scratching sounds under the floor in the family room, he examined the crawl space and took pictures of affected areas. Turned out it was rats, but luckily there were only minimal signs of activity so we didn't have a huge infestation. He went completely around the area and sealed up all potential places where they could get back in and then set traps. He returned in one week to check and reset traps. Then again in another week. We only got two in the traps, but he left six reset and we will check them ourselves later. Overall, we were very satisfied with the service and would definitely call Willard's again should the need arises.

Juan was fabulous. He was on-time, very friendly and helpful. After an initial over-the-phone estimate, I expected the cost to be between $300-400. Once he was finished, he told me that the mice droppings that were found were old and I have no infestation of rodents. He checked all screens and made sure there was no damage in my crawl space from a previous infiltration of mice.

This ended up being a very mixed bag! The technician showed up promptly ... in fact, sooner than I expected so I wasn't able to be at home to talk with him. Turns out that he only spread the anti-mole stuff on the portion of my yard that had the least problems. When I discovered that he didn't do the lawn on the parking strips ... the area most visible and most frustrating ... I called him and was told that they don't do parking strips since they're technically owned by The City. Guess what? I called in another firm and they had no problem with the parking strips. LESSON: These "professionals" should have forewarned me about the limits so I could have avoided having to start over and lose my original fee.

I'm very happy with the service. They were on-time, professional and did a neat and tidy job. They even covered up a smal HVAC vent at no additional cost.

I had used Willard's once before a number of years ago and the service then was good. When I discovered the current situation I called them again and Zack came out to give an estimate. The estimate seemed reasonable and included installing some new insulation. I had a second company give me an estimate and they told me that PSE had a rebate program for insulation that would provide $900 for the work and that they would handle getting the rebate for me and factored it into their estimate. This second company's estimate was almost $300 less than Willards, so I called Willards to ask if they had factored it into their estimate as well. The fellow I spoke to had never been asked that question and needed to check. He said he'd call me right back, but hadn't several hours later. I called again and was told that the rebate hadn't been factored in and that Willard's could not arrange it for me as the other company could. Since I'd used Willard's before and they are a "known quantity" I asked if there was a way they could make their bid more competitive. The fellow I talked to told me a manager would call me back with the answer. The day ended without that call, so I crossed Willard's off the list and went with the other bid.

I heard birds chirping in what I thought was the wall and called Willard's Bird Busters in a bit of a panic. The receptionist told me that they would get back to me and let me know when they could come by and assess the situation. She called back within the hour, and let me know they would be there withing 2 hrs. When Daniel came he looked at the situation, gave me a quote which was very reasonable, then did the work. It was done quickly and quietly. Daniel was professional and polite.

They were helpful and on time

it went great. they set about 10 traps, and caught and removed the one intruder. we've used willard's several times in the past, and have always been happy with their service.

I remember that their literature said that they give a senior’s discount, but they did not give it to us. On the other hand, their price was reasonable. They completely cured the problem. They were professional. They came out on time, and finished the job within the day. They assessed the problem, told us what they needed to do, and they did it. We did not have any problems with rats since then.

They come when they are supposed to. We have never had any bug problems since they started doing work for us. We had carpenter ants.

They offered to come on a regular basis but we didn’t need that service. They completed everything with no problem.

They call us every three months to remind us that its time to schedule another appointment. They have reasonable pricing and work to find a way to get the most value for your money.

I have been using them for twenty years. They are always fair with their estimates. They guarantee their work. They are very informative. They have shared techniques with me. Their treatments have been effective.

It went pretty good. They did a good job and treated the problem.

We just had a very good experience with them. We have used them in the past and we just had an excellent experience with them again. The guy who gave us our estimate came out and did an inspection after the work was done, which we have never had anybody do that before. The work was done actually at our daughter's house but we were the ones responsible for hiring them and paying them. My husband was replacing a floor and in replacing the floor he was also working on the laundry room and when he got into the laundry room there was some, what we didn't know at that time, moisture ant damage to the studs of the house, so he had Williard's come out and they found a dormant moisture ant nest under the house, so they gave us an estimate for work that needed to be done in the crawl space which was a very shoddy work whoever did it last time because they only did which we could see from the entry to the crawl space, so part of the insulation had never been put in, vapor barrier had never been put in, so this guy went through the whole crawl space telling us exactly where there was missing insulation, where the vapor barrier had not been applied and gave us a new estimate for having the crawl space cleaned. The insulation installed and the new vapor barrier put down under the whole house. He gave us the lower estimate than we had had before and so we signed up on the spot for them to come and do that because we had wanted to do that since we got the little house. He then came back after my husband had torn out the wall and replaced the wood, he came back and sprayed for the insects even though the nest was dormant. He wanted to be sure that there wasn't anything going on that they couldn't see, so we had bug spray in the wall and under the house. Then few days later, the Williard's guys came out and did all the work under the crawl space for us and then the guy who had come and found the problem and found the nest and given us the estimate went above and beyond the duty and came back and inspected the work to be sure that everything had been completed. We have never had anybody come back and inspect. We were just thrilled with his ownership of work that he would take the time to come out and inspect the work himself.

We live close to a bunch of trees so they take care of the spiders and other bugs. They do a really good job and they worked for me on a rodent problem when I was over seas. I am very loyal to them for that. They went above and beyond.

I have been using them for last 3 years. I used them last week and I pay $60 a month. The work that they do varies; originally it was inspection for rodents, ants and things like that. Now they come monthly for exterior spraying for ants and spiders. We have one of their people who comes to work at our house, we find him very knowledgeable and he is very good at what he does. We had a really good experience with them. I found them to be thorough and knowledgeable.

I went in there for some advice and traps.

Their insulation installers showed up when promised, did the work, and left! Simple as that. Everything went smoothly. We blew in a fiberglass insulation over our existing 6" of insulation. We were able to achieve a wonderfully warm R-40. The installers were friendly enough, professional, and someone followed up to make sure that there were no new rat trails in my fluffy new insulation.

They were here within an hour. They dealt with our yellow jacket problem and they never came back. They were very professional. They were not totally aware of the discount, but they had it printed and they willingly accepted it. They let us know that if we saw them again to give them a call right back and they’d be right back out.

They were very responsive and easy to work with. The price was good and they were very thorough. They were flexible and seemed knowledgeable. I will continue to use the same in future.
