They did a great job on the floors. He is very attentive and always reliable. It took him about three days to put it in, but it is really beautiful. He is an excellent communicator, and he gives good advice.

They were great. They did a beautiful job. I felt like it was a good price. They are really responsive and they really want to get it right so they came back a couple of times and did a beautiful job. Their professionalism is great and so is their customer service. Tom, the owner, is very hands on. He came out and looked at it. He talked about options. It was really terrific. He came up with some good ideas for the floor that came out really beautifully. He was good.

Tom Ryan was wonderful to work with from start to finish. He was prompt in responding to our initial call for an estimate and spent some time with us explaining our options and the cost associated with each option. The work was done on time and on budget and the floors look new again. All of the wear and tear and water stains were completely removed and the natural beauty of the oak has been restored. We recommend Tom Ryan Floors without reservation. In fact, we're going to be using his services again in th near future to help in remodeling another part of our home.

Tom's suggestions were excellent, and the materials are beautiful. The installers were absolutely terrific. They did a very fine job. I've had carpet and flooring installed quite a few times over the years, and these guys surpass all of my previous experiences in every way. The workmanship, materials, and results are all top notch.

Tom is extremely knowledgeable about his products. He understood our needs and budget and provided excellent advice. He was very generous in letting us bring samples home. There were two problems, however. One, the bill for the vinyl included a charge for prep which was not in the estimate. He said this is something the contractor can do but he works often with my contractor and he never does this prep (applying a thin cement to the floor). After a discussion with the contractor Tom adjusted this price. Tom should address the issue of prep prior to giving an estimate. Another problem was that he charged my credit card without authorization. When one part of the job was done, I paid with a credit card. When the last part of the job was done, he emailed asking if he should charge the card. I replied no, that I would pay by check since my card was approaching the max. He replied that he already charged the card! His installer, Nick, was great! He's an interesting guy who did a fantastic job with a tricky install.

Tom stopped by to prepare an estimate for us the very day that we first called him. We made a couple trips back and forth to his Totem Lake showroom before settling on Oak "Nashville" by Kahrs for our living area. We arranged the installation about 2 weeks out. It took the team of 2 installers 3 days to rip out our flooring and existing hardwoods and install the new flooring. I was worried about the trim, since it has to be removed and replaced, but they did such a careful job that the moldings look better than they did before!

Tom and his crew were great. He gave us an estimate the same day he came to look at the job, and he wasn't far off the mark when the final tally came in. It was a little pricier than some of the other contractors we called, but given the amount of work being done(especially on the staircase)and the time frame in which we were trying to get it finished, Tom seemed like our best bet. We were not disappointed. The work was done in less time than he originally quoted, and the workmanship is simply beautiful. He and his crew were punctual, friendly and they cleaned up after themselves nicely each day. We'd recommend them to our friends in a heartbeat.

Overall it went well. We had a few communication glitches with moving our refrigerator, but in general, the quality of the work was excellent. We also had a few minor issues, and had to work with them a little to have them come back, but they did end up coming back and fixing those issues.

They had the highest price of all the contractors I contacted. We really appreciated the fact that he gave us the bid while he was here on his initial visit.

It went very well before and during installation. The installers were very helpful and when I had some concerns about the placement of several boards because of color they fixed it to my satisfaction.

WORK WAS SCHEDULED IN A VERY SHORT TIME FRAME, 3 DAYS, INSTALLER WAS ON TIME, VERY PROFESSIONAL AND RESULTS ARE OUTSTANDING.
