The hot tub was in a difficult location on an elevated deck on a steep hillside. Sean came out a day before to check the location to make sure they would be able to do it. The guys showed up promptly the next day and were able to cut it up and haul it away without any problem.

They responded immediately and came the next day. They were on time, and ckeaned up everything. I have used them before and will do so again.

I reserved a time through their web site, which is easy to use and informative. The only glitch is they rescheduled me to a time that was bad for me, but they were flexible about correcting that when I pointed it out. They worked very quickly and were friendly.

I would definitely use Busby again, they did an awesome job. Paul and Joel were great. They were right on time and had the truck loaded in quickly. I also really appreciate that they took the time to ask us questions about some of the things they were loading to make sure we wanted them thrown out, which was super helpful. I also really appreciate how great the office staff was when we called with a follow-up question after the truck had left. We had accidently misplaced an item in our garage and were worried we had put it in the trash pile by accident. (Which would have been totally our fault, Joel and Paul were super thorough about checking what they loaded) they offered to have the drivers stop and check and if they found the item bring it back! Luckily we quickly found it and called them back (so as not to waste their time) but we really appreciate they extra effort and customer service. Busby is great I would recommend them to anyone.

I called a number of recyclers and decided on Busby. When I scheduled the pickup I told the representative the TV was very large - a 52" projection TV. He said fine - pickup and recycling would be $95.00 which is their minimum charge. When the two people arrived, they told me that it would be $125 and asked if I still wanted them to take it. Of course I said yes because I had everything moved out of the way and just wanted to get rid of it. I am not sure if I got duped or not. Sounds like it could have been a scam to get more money at the last minute. The person who schedules the pickups should let callers know up-front if there is a chance the charge will be greater.

We’re really pleased with them. We actually got an estimate once from them before. They did a great job. They charged us much lower from the other estimates we got. They were firm and very clear in their estimates. They came on a Sunday which was nice because we were home. They were efficient when they got here.

Arrived promptly after call to say when they would be here. I had four items to be hauled away, including an old sleeper sofa that had to go down from the second floor. The two men who came tried several plans to get it out and eventually had to cut it up with a power saw to remove it. Absolutely amazing service and all done with a very positive attitude. I am so appreciative of this company. I will definitely call them again if I have more junk to be removed.

I'm writing this review just prior to referring a friend to this provider. I'm also planning to call on them again to remove items we should have had taken BEFORE we moved but ran out of time to sort properly. They were responsive, professional and did exactly what they said they would do for a reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their service.

My experience went very well with this company. They were great with communicating and kept in touch. They did exactly what they said they would. They were great with the clean up. The staff was very friendly and professional. The pricing was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this company to others.

Busby was prompt and professional. They called to let us know they were on their way and a two-man crew arrived shortly thereafter. Seeing the items we needed hauled off, including some old furniture, they advised we might have a little more than a truckload. After loading the truck, they determined that everything could fit into one load. It took them a relatively short amount of time, about 30-45 minutes, to load the truck and haul our junk away. This company charges by the truckload and so we paid the full amount for a full load, which was $500.00. Busby is certainly not the cheapest for this kind of job, but they get the job done and they are reliable. We will use them again.

OK, once they arrived, although the price was a bit high - they gave a 10% discount though.

I called prior to the appointment to make sure that they recycled or donated the items when possible. They assured me that they did but when they came to pick up the items they were just thrown into the back of the truck. Most of the items that could easily have been donated were broken or damaged. They were clearly going to throw everything away. I will never use them again.

It is interesting that their trunk broke down that day and they rented a bigger trunk. As a result, they were able to fit everything in that bigger trunk and still charged me the price of one trunk. It took almost 3 hours to get everything moved. They were very professional and courteous. I was quite impressed.

The job: I had a truck and a half's worth of junk (and I do mean JUNK!) from old appliances to scrap metal, tiles, tires and car parts to be removed, plus a collapsing walkway cover. Trouble was most of it was in a crawl space under the house that they had to haul through the basement, up some stairs, and out the garage. The crawl space was yucky, 30 years worth of cobwebs, strange liquid in buckets labeled "fruit research?!" and a couple rat corpses-type yucky... and the junk was small pieces so many many arm-loads. My grandfather had Alzheimers and thought people were stealing from him so stowed god-knows-what in there but I needed it cleared so I can hook up to sewer. The guys: Sam and Austin showed up Thursday afternoon and worked a couple hours, then they returned Friday morning with a 3rd guy, and more buckets/wheelbarrow to help for a couple more hours. Now I would be surprised if this isn't the job they tell stories about around the office when talking about "worst job ever" but they were 100% professional about it and endured the yuck with smiles and a good-natured grimace. Absolutely, top notch service and hard workers who tried to get it done as quickly as possible to save me money. They also took care to separate out the metals for recycling. They couldn't take anything hazardous or potentially hazardous of course, but they did bring it up and stack it to the side neatly in my garage. My crawl space is now as clean as crawl space can be and they left the pathway out cleaner than it was when they started. The price: If they go over 1hr to load your stuff that costs a little extra. I also had 2 freon charges and about 10 extra tire charges so the price went up over their basic per-load charges but was totally fair price in my opinion. They even gave me a repeat-customer discount. This is the 2nd time I've hired Busby and I'd hire them again for sure and recommend them to family and friends.

Made my appointment online and received $10 off. Got an email confirmation within a few hours for a service times selected approximately 48 hours out. On the day of the service, the truck showed up right on time. The drivers were friendly and efficient. The only thing I didn't like was the price... It seems like a lot of money to spend on hauling away some junk! Overall, I would use this service again though. They picked up stuff I needed to get rid of, and they were on time and courteous.

Website was professional and easy to use. Booked a date online for several days out. Busby immediately confirmed the appointment. They appeared at our home as scheduled on time. Pleasant, professional and quick. We will use them again when we need hauling services. Given the variety of junk, the price seemed reasonable.

I booked on line for Sunday for 2pm. Craig Noreen e-mailed me to move the appointment up to 12:30 due to a conflict and I replied with an email. He followed up with a phone call when he did not receive my reply through email the next day. That was great, so we scheduled for 12:30. We actually got prepared for their arrival early and had other things we needed to do. Luckily the driver called at 10:10 to see if they could come early because they were ahead of schedule which was the best timing for us. They stated they would be there in 32 minutes and they arrived exactly at 32 minutes. The two young men were efficient, professional, and fast. They completed the task in 15 minutes. The price was very reasonable. We will definitely recommend this service.

I experienced a few truck issues. The truck broke down on the way the first day pick-up was scheduled, and someone phoned after the pick-up time to reschedule for the next day. The next day workers were running a little behind, and phoned after the scheduled time to say they were running late. When they arrived and backed their truck into the driveway, they hit a large overhanging tree branch. They did not express concern, and I forgot about that as we discussed size of the load and cost. After the truck left, I saw there was a severe gouge in the tree limb. I phoned the office to report the problem and suggest they consider a policy of having one of the workers guide the driver when pulling into narrower spaces since there were three people in the truck. All in all, a lot of drama to haul away a bit of concrete, and I would use a different firm in the future.

Called Friday and received an approximate estimate for potential removal this AM. They called this AM saying they were ahead of schedule which worked for me. The estimated price I received on the phone was the actual price. The guys quickly removed the items. It was a pleasant and painless experience..

Busby guys are always friendly! This was our second time using them. They have great on-line scheduling, and even called to ask if they could come earlier than scheduled. They do an excellent job and fair price - would definitely use them again.

I contacted Busby via email the night before I needed them (long story) and requested a 9am appointment. I received confirmation early the next day they would arrive at the time requested. The driver called about 15 minutes before arriving. Both workers were friendly and respectful. They provided an estimate based on the items I needed removed and immediately began hauling to their truck. The actual cost was slightly less than they quoted. Overall the experience was wonderful and I highly recommend their service to anyone!

Busby went above and beyond for me. They were very friendly and pleasant while they were working for me. They are consistent in their pricing. I would recommend them to anyone looking for trash/junk removal.

Booked my service online and received confirmation within the hour. Busby came out in the morning to clear items that were ready to go and filled up 1/2 a truck. The employees were courteous, introduced themselves and explained how their process worked. They gave me an estimate and proceeded to start working on my approval. They were so fast at loading all the debris - it would have taken me days to get the same job done. I wanted them to come back in the afternoon and get the rest of the debris and anything that St Vincent didn't take - they said no problem just call the office and get it arranged. Called the office and they schedule another team to come out within 2 hours - again they were courteous, introduced themselves and went through the process. I was impressed with both teams that showed up - they listened to what I needed done, went to work and completed the job in a short amount of time. Everyone I dealt with at Busby was professional, courteous, on-time, and ready to get the job done. I highly recommend them for any type of junk removal.

Online booking is great (no phone tag) - received prompt appointment confirmation via email. They arrived right on time and provided an estimate. Upon approval they quickly loaded the truck and were out of here pretty fast. No problems from them or complaints from me.
