Description of Work: They replaced two damaged panels on my garage door. They also replaced the wires so they were more secure, they kept disconnecting so the garage door opener wouldn't work. So they put in all new wires.

Great. In and out in an hour.
Description of Work: Both springs were broken on my garage door opener. They came out and replaced the springs and tuned up the mechanism. It now works--and works much more quietly.

Description of Work: I was just out of the hospital and can't remember the exact date but the repairman showed up on time and performed the installation of the new door opener and the accompanying electronic accessories. He made sure I knew how to use the new equipment before he left. It was a good experience.

I decided to switch from clear glass to opaque in the door they had installed 3 years ago. They came out and only charged us the cost for the glass, no service call or labor charge. Very professional service and it looks great.

From start to finish it was a great experience. The gentleman on the phone setting up the appointment asked lots of questions about what was wrong, then gave a preliminary diagnosis and an estimate of costs. The appointment time was agreed on and the serviceman arrived on time (actually 5 minutes early, which was great!), showed me what was wrong, gave me some tips on home maintenance of the garage door which I should do myself twice a year (which I hadn't known), made the repair, showed me the broken part he had replaced and all in 45 minutes. The price I was charged matched what was quoted to me on the phone. I was very impressed.
Description of Work: Automatic garage door opener was making a grinding noise and wouldn't open. The broken part (a stripped traveler) was replaced and routine maintenance (lubing and balancing the door) was done. Before leaving the door was tested for performance and worked wonderfully.

The experience was very good. We got an early estimate three months ago, then had Chris come out again for a final estimate at the house. He brought samples, which was helpful. We ended up buying an upgraded door, which was only about $150 more per door. The installer was punctual, quiet, and finished ontime. It took a full day for the installation. The new doors look great and are much quieter (old doors were wood; new doors are metal). We had the installer come back a few days later for a minor adjustment.
Description of Work: Had three new garage doors installed. This included removal and disposal of old doors, and reinstallation of open/close mechanism.
