They were not the highest bid but we are still going to go with someone else. They were helpful, informative, on time, and all the rest.

On time and on budget. Good to work with and worked well with other workmen.

One corner of our house had lost electricity, but it wasn't tied to the breakers - it was inside the wall. He showed up exactly on time, got to work, and had it fixed (a faulty wall socket) in about 20 minutes. He spent the rest of the time shoring up our outlets to be safe for our 16 month old...all in the 1-hour minimum. Top notch service and I'm glad we've found our electrician.

We were doing a complete tear out and start over kitchen. When we exposed all the walls and wire, there was a real mess. Some knob and tube, some no ground wire, some bare wire from creatures in the walls. We needed to add a supporting stud in the wall section that held all the old wire from the original fuse box. Bobbie came highly recommended by our builder. He was able to schedule us in just a few days, and we were able to comtinue the remodel project. Bobbie and his helper moved all the wires in the first day. They came back the next week and ran the wire for the new kitchen..We were to call when we were ready for the finish work. They came and finished in a half day. They were very efficient in thier work and finished on time. They cleaned up each day before they left. Overall a very good experience. We are very pleased with the work.

We were very pleased with Bobby Scott and Reputable Electric. He was under the house in the crawl space and in the attic to find the wiring. He had shoe and clothing covers so he didn't track any dirt inside even though it was a stormy evening. We found him very open, explaining everything and providing reasonable recommendations. He works quickly, safely, efficiently and his helper was also very capable. Bobby seems very knowledgable and conscientious about his work and everyone's safety We were very satisfied with the cost and the work and will call him when we need electrical work again. We would confidently refer him to our friends who need electrical work.

The owner and his worker arrived on time and were very well prepared. They had the job done in less time than originally thought and the prices was very reasonable. They cleaned up after their work and were gone by 10 AM. Very, very satisfied and will call them for all my electric needs from now on.

We had a positive impression right away. Their estimate was well under another that we had received. Bobby informed us that a lot of extra work that we thought was required wasn't really necessary. We are thrilled with the results. When the City Inspector came out to inspect the work, he made several comments about how impressed he was with the work, and with the documentation that was left for him. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to friends!

He and his apprentice made the necessary repairs to bring the residence electrical service safe and to code and completed the installation of rope lights in a recessed lighting fixtures in my kitchen. In doing so, he encountered and resolved a number of problems relating to the incorrect installation of the previously installed recessed lights. He did a great job and worked around the incorrectly drilled holes, missing outlet, and other problems. He and his apprentice arrived on time, left the kitchen spotless, and were thoroughly professional. Most importantly, he left me with the knowledge that in the future I will make certain to hire an "electrical contractor."

Bobby contacted me the day I sent him an email, and came the next day to do an estimate. He worked with my husband to modify the estimate and the type of work to be done, and worked with the heater company to ensure the proper thermostat was installed. He and his assistant showed up on on time on the day scheduled, performed the work efficiently and quietly, and cleaned up after themselves. I am extremely happy with the work, and highly recommend this company.

I e-mailed Reputable Eletric, got a call back from Bobby we talked scheduled an appointment. He came out right on time. He e-mailed me the estitmate of the work as I described it to him of what I need to have done. I accepted,joyed talking to him he was really knowledgeable and nice explaning to me. I didn't know much about this type of work or what needed to be done. I was very happy and pleased he started to work right away got the permits and all the materials that was need and took care of everything. They did an excellent job. Before he completed my job another homeowner wanted to have him do some work for her. We will use them again.

Bobby was very thorough in explaining what the problems were and what he proposed to do to correct the problems. He also informed me of other issues that would possibly need attending to in the future at my convenience. He and Aaron worked very quickly to remedy the situation and were very professional and polite to deal with. Bobby is definitely my electrician to call for any electrical work on my house.

When I was on the roof cleaning the gutters, I noticed the insulation on the service entrance wire where it enters the weather head was cracked, and the bare, hot wire exposed. After getting several bids, I went with Reputable and was very pleased with how the whole process went. Bobby was on time to the minute, was very candid about the work that needed to be performed, didn't try to create more work for himself, and ultimately came in under the estimate he'd given me. In short, this was the best experience I've had with an electrician and I will definitely use him again in the future.

Contacted Bobby Scott by email through Angie's List, listed issues. His response was prompt, and arranged visit to do estimates at my convenience. Got right back to me with estimates, and offer of two available days from which to choose. Was just a little late getting here on the determined day, but apologized and got right to work with his apprentice. (I liked how Bobby treated Aaron, his apprentice - respectful and helpful.) Bobby was great about explaining what they were doing and why, and very open to my many questions. We are very happy with the work they did and would gladly recommend them to friends.

Overall, it was a "Teachable Moment." I suggest learning how to troubleshoot on your own before calling in an electrician because it can be a very expensive lesson. Fortunately, I didn't get dinged too badly for my inexperience. The electrician was very knowledgeable and helpful, and I always ask professionals a lot of questions anyway because that's how I learn things as a homeowner. I would compare prices of the franchises with the small business owners because the more independent types seem to be more amenable to negotiating. I previously had hired another provider who was part of a larger chain who didn't seem to care about my situation, mostly about making money. So I always try to support small business when I can.

Everything went smoothly. I was in a time crunch and he agreed to come over on his day off and do the job, which I greatly appreciated. He and his apprentice worked quickly and efficiently. I thought the price was quite reasonable and the final price was exactly as estimated. I will definitely call them in the future.

Excellent work. All debris was cleaned up. Workmen were very pleasant. Future possible work was discussed and suggestions were given for options I might want to consider.

More complicated job than I expected, but everything worked as expected after new cable installed

The whole experience was great. Bobbie did a fantastic job. His price was fair and he did all he promised.

I would rehire this gentleman in a heartbeat. He gave us a clear price range for the job over the phone. He scheduled us in promptly and showed up on time. He worked efficiently finishing the work in a few hours. He then blew us away by charging less than half what the previous electrician had estimated it would cost.

Bobby and Aaron showed up at 8:00 am exactly and got right to work. Bobby fully explained the process while he worked. He meticulously rewired the new panel and showed me the finished product before he replaced the cover on the panel. He also repaired two outlet receptacles and provided a bid on another job before he left. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves. Bobby's bid was $1,100 less than the other bid I received and he did the work himself. We will definitely use Bobby for all future electrical jobs.

Called several companies, Bobby had the lowest estimate and started within 3 days. Work was done in 1 day, however the work failed on 2 minor points during state inspection. Bobby had not replaced old grounding wires to the newer standards so had to come back and replace them. Passed inspection on second try. One problem that is common to all electrical contractors doing this type of work, they didn't coordinate with power company to have meter pulled and replaced. I guess so they could be done in 1 day. Also his helper over tightened the band in the meter globe and cracked it so the power company had to replace it at our cost($35). All and all it was a good experience and we got a hazardous panel (Zinsco) replaced. It had been a worry for us.

Bobby and I corresponded via E-Mail and I got an estimate for the Job. He did not show up for the appointment, so I was surprised. I called him and he apologized. He came out later that day, and reviewed the job. He determined that the job was much less then I was told by another contractor. I eventually did not need anything done but a new circuit breaker. So I was very satisfied with his help and he did not charge me for the visit.

Great! After having a horrible experience with our original electrician, we were very skeptical when we tried to find an electrician to fix the work had been done incorrectly and incompletely the first time. So, when I came across Bobby Scott's listing on Craig's List, I asked for and called several of his references. They all said the same thing: He was dependable, thorough, efficient and fairly priced. So, though still leary, I hired him. What a contrast to our 1st electrician! Bobby arrived on time, worked hard all day long and got all of the work done. He was thorough, too. He tested everything after completion, and even when there appeared to be an obvious solution, he looked beyond and found some other underlying issues which he quickly and efficiently resolved. His bill was more than fair. We were happy to pay it. He was one of the best sub-contractors we hired during our 10 month complete remodel. We would hire him again in a minute!
