Chris and his crew did a good job overall and I'd recommend them but suggest paying close attention to the details (as with any provider). The wood product was as good as one can find these days and it was installed competently. An area of sill plate rot was exposed during the job and quickly and effectively repaired though it took some discussion to come up with the best way to do the fix. One of the windows ordered from the manufacturer came with four panes when it could have been ordered with two or even one for about the same price, a detail that was overlooked and could have been addressed more effectively. The crew worked hard, they were able to start and complete the work as planned, were responsive in doing some small-scale siding replacements in addition to the large wall areas, and cleanup was complete. Overall a positive experience.

They were outstanding once they got out to the house. Took them a month to show up, business must be good. They do great work, there early every morning- worked late every day. The side looks great. They found some bad timbers and replaced them no problem. Would recommend this company to anyone.

The "Start to Finish story" is long because a lot of work was performed: I have a 2-3 story home that needed new siding. (2 stories on one side and 3 on the other.) I had the old "Louisiana Pacific (LP) Siding" that I had been putting off replacing for several years. It was time. I called Chris with "AA Side X Side" and another company. Unlike the other company, Chris was punctual and responsive. He gave me the estimate in a reasonable amount of time (the scope of the work was immense) and even went as far as to provide me with numerous different options regarding siding products, composite decking products, railings, and more. His estimate was quite reasonable. At my request, he also broke down the estimates for me, in case I could only afford to do individual parts of the project at a time. Chris did not come across as a "salesperson" - more like an estimator. I became aware that he had a decade of installation knowledge - "hands-on" experience. It showed. I am very particular and he answered all my questions and concerns with clear concise explanations. Even though I know he must have been busy doing other estimates after my project began, he still came by on a regular basis to check on the crews and ensure that everything was going well. He even came to help perform the work on the doors. The work commenced and progressed flawlessly. None of our plants or property were damaged even during such an intense project of this magnitude. The debris was cleaned up daily. Three new sets of "Anderson" in-swing french doors were installed and a HUGE "Anderson" double-slider was retro-fitted into an opening where there were once out-swing french doors leading onto our main deck. Now there is no loss of deck space. It really connects the living space with the deck, making them feel as if they were one. The workers were polite, courteous and thorough. They even fixed a couple of window seals for me free of charge since they had scaffolding already up. The old main deck was completely removed down to the concrete (a story below). It was rebuilt stronger and better than before and had a finer, detailed look to it. I had 2-3 different choices for deck boards to be installed over the new structure.Chris recommended the use of the composite. I did. We chose the Timber Tech product. It is colored all the way through, so if it gets scratched or dented you don't have to repaint or stain; occasional pressure washing is the only maintenance. We chose to install aluminum railing with glass inserts. You can see the yard and everything sitting in the deck chairs. It really opened things up. The painters installed 25 year warranty "Benjamin Moore" paint. There was no overspray or spills. "AA Side X Side" performed ALL of this work. Amazing! I found Chris and every worker that arrived to be extremely knowledgable and professional. It truly looks phenomenal now that it's all done. I have recommended "AA Side X Side" numerous times already. I would not hesitate to give them the highest recommendation possible. I would use them again in a heartbeat. It was worth every penny and more. "AA Side X Side" is one of the BEST contracors that I have EVER used.
