Better Air NW

Better Air NW is one of the best contractors I have ever engaged. On time, professional and informative. Very good equipment; Truck, air compressor, vacuums-everything very professional. The lead was Jason who was just the best. He and Scott worked their butts off making sure they beat my expectations. They did! I had a special problem with my furnace-lingering mold. No problem. They took care of the mess, sprayed the area with a fogger (Sporicidin) and then explained how I could take care of it in the future. The home has never smelled better. In my estimation they are worth every penny.

I was very happy with the service provided by Better Air NW. They were careful, professional, and very helpful. They seemed happy to explain exactly what they were doing and what they found. I will definitely use them again.

The price was just a vacuum but system needed full cleaning that proved to be a bunch of add on charges. Service was professional and kept me apprised of what he was doing it was just dramatically more expensive than the offered special. It felt very much like a come on rather than a good value for the full service that was needed.

Honestly, they were awesome. Very quick response to meet my objective of cleanup before Thanksgiving. They were punctual and very thorough. Took almost exactly the amount of time they estimated and i felt they did a great job. Cleaned up after themselves and were extremely professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and more importantly, i would feel confident having them work on my friends and families homes. They are certainly a little more expensive than some of the other companies but I think it was well worth it. No question i made the right choice.

Fabulous company to deal with! From the moment we booked the appointment, we got a response to confirm the date and time and a good follow up the day before the appointment. Rob, the professional technician, was prompt, good at his job - he said he had been doing this work for over 20+ years, and very personable. When I asked about the Angie's List discount, it was immediately taken care of and Darla was happy that we had found her company through Angie's List. We really think they are wonderful and have recommended them to friends who are needing this type of service.

Jason and his partner were very professional. Jason was very knowledgeable as well, and shared helpful tips on maintaining my house.

Better Air came out and did an extremely thorough job cleaning all the ducts in my house. Jeff and his associate were more than happy to answer all my questions, and went the extra mile to clean the years and years of gunk that had built up inside all the registers and returns. My filters each month are noticeably less dusty, so the proof to me is plain that this service keeps the air in my home cleaner.

I contacted Better Air NW after another company had some online communication problems. I really appreciated that BANW got back to me immediately and communicated very well throughout the process. They set and kept an appointment and had all the fancy gear to do a thorough and professional job. This is a new house to us and had lots of construction debris and drywall dust in the ducts. They did a great job cleaning the furnace and the electronic air filter as well. They even installed a paperwork holder for us. Jason did a great job and I recommend these guys.

They did a good job. The pricing was totally expected. They cleaned up after themselves.They were right on time, almost to the minute. They told me when they would be here and how long it would take them to arrive. They were good and professional.

They did a very thorough job and I was amazed at how much crud they got out of the vents. Even though I changed my furnace filters regularly, the forced air always smelled musty. After cleaning, that problem went away.

The two technicians were extremely knowledgeable, courteous and thorough. This was not the old-fashioned "giant-truck with vacuum bags out front" type of cleaning. They take an approach that focuses on each area of the duct work, to ensure each area is inspected, agitated and thoroughly cleaned out. They use cameras to ensure a thorough job.

The 2 workers were very professional throughout the process. One seemed like he was in training, and the trainer gave him detailed instructions for each step, which he executed well. Once a vent was cleaned they covered it to keep it that way. They were very thorough and once they were finished they reviewed what they found in the vents and what maintenance we should be doing (changing the furnace filter 2-3 times per year, getting pro service cleaning every 3-5 years). They also let us know about a potential issue with our dryer vent to watch out for. We have 2 indoor cats that we kept locked in a room during their work, and they were very patient as I wrangled them from that room to another when they were ready to clean that room last. I had debated getting the additional service of antimicrobial cleaning, but the service worker let me know that was not necessary unless they saw mold or rodent droppings/remains in the vents. He kept me from spending an additional $50+ dollars when it would have been an easy (but unnecessary) upsell. After the service was complete, there was a noticeable improvement in the air quality in our house, especially in our basement. The "musty" smell was significantly reduced downstairs. Next time we need air vent/furnace work or maintenance, we'll definitely be calling Better Air NW back!

2- person work crew arrived exactly on time. very courteous and clean. explained the process, was honest about the limitations (my old house had some very tight spots in the vent system which made a couple of corners in the crawl space difficult/impossible to reach. took about 5 hours which is exactly as estimated. no hidden costs or bait/switch. cost was fair.

I had a great experience with this company and will use them again. My request for a quote was replied to very quickly via email. And scheduling was accomplished quickly and easily via email as well. I got a phone message the day before the service to remind me. And a phone call half an hour before the scheduled time from one of the technicians asking if it would be Ok if they came early because they finished a previous job early. It was fine with me so they arrived and got to work right away. Jonathan introduced himself and shook my hand. He was cheerful, communicative, professional, conscientious, friendly, and quick. He had a helper, Sven, who was a dead-fish handshake, smelled strongly of cigarettes, and mostly grunted, but he did his job. Jonathan took the time to explain to me exactly what they would be doing, and showed me the tools he would be using to do it. He kept me informed along the way as well. At the end, they cleaned up after themselves and things are even cleaner then before they arrived. Jonathan showed me the dust he pulled out of the ducts and then went over the work order with me so that I understood everything. I paid him with credit card and they were off. I'm very happy with the service and feel confident that they did a great job.

d not have know When I called the only time, they answered. I asked for a 7am start on a Friday because they told me it would take 4 hours. They were able to accommodate my needs without a problem. They came exactly on time. I showed them where all the registers were as well as the cold air returns. They got started immediately, were very professional but very friendly. (my dog liked them). Unfortunately, it took over 2 hours longer than the office told me when they booked it, but it is all good because they did a very thorough job. They made sure everything was clean. They even pointed out a small area in a piece of duct work that had a hole in it and was exposing wire. I called am heating company while they were there, and Shawn spoke to them telling them exactly what they saw and what probably needed to be done to fix it. (Already have an appointment set up for that).. They cleaned up and moved back whatever furniture they had moved to do their jobs. They could have stopped at the 4 hour mark and said they were done and I probably would not have know the difference. Shawn and Scott were great and would most certainly recommend them and 'Better Air'.

Showed up on time and were busy working the entire 3 + hours it took to complete the cleaning. They explained the process and cleaned up after it was completed.

They were very professional, clean, and courtious. They exceeded our expectations as far as time, value, and quality of work.

From my perspective, they performed excellent services, on time and with no "surprise" or excess charges above their estimate. In addition, they were timely and neat. In one case, they were unable to complete the work when they first arrived, due to water near the main furnace unit (we hadn't realized that the chimney had leaked in a rainy period the day prior). However, they did not charge for that visit, and they worked with us to reschedule as soon as possible afterward. I was very please with the work and felt that it was money well spent.

The work took about 3 - 4 hours, and they did a thorough job. They also photographed the vents before and after the cleaning, and showed me the stuff that they removed from the ducts.

The gentleman explained what he was going to do and how he would do it, He then went on and did all my air ducts, cold air return and check my gas furnace. He was pleasant, knew what he was doing and then showed me what he had accumulated in his vacuum after he was done. I would give this company an “A”

I was not there when the work was preformed, my roommate was. He said they were very professional, explained the process, and answered any questions he had. They sealed some spaces in the vents where air was leaking through. I did not realize there was any leaking so that was an added bonus for me.

It was a very good experience. They spent a lot of time cleaning and were very thorough. They even found a Coke can and removed it. We looked into the ducts after they left, and they were very clean. Scheduling was very easy with them and they showed up on time. They are really good. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone. The price is a little high, but you get what you pay for.
