LGD Garage Door (Amit) came to my home after I scheduled a job. We had Broken Garage Door Repair need. The door did not open so he repaired it. He also Adjusted the Garage Door. Our springs were old so we Replaced them. He put everything back on Track. We also ordered 2 Remote Control and a new opener that is updated. The total cost was around $550 which include labor.

I specifically asked for an 8 am appointment. They originally gave me a time range of 8-10 am. I told them I wanted to be their first appointment of the day. At 8:30, I called them and asked where the technician was. The owner called him and said that he wasn't feeling well. I asked, why wasn't I notified before 8 that I should re-schedule, and why didn't the technician call the owner?? I had taken time off from work to have this service performed. Then, the owner said he'd call the technician, who said he'd be here by 9:30. I had been looking out the window looking every few minutes. There was no knock on the door, nor did the door bell ring. At 9:45, I called Angie's list to cancel, and ask for a refund, and tell them the situation. Angies' list called the owner, and the owner stated the technician came, and no one was home. That's UNTRUE. I have been up since 7 am WAITING FOR THE TECHNICIAN TO SHOW UP. I will not be using this company ever again.

They were very good with scheduling. The man who came out was very nice. There were some things that were not explained well because of a language barrier. However, whenever I told him I did not understand, he would re-explain them to me. They were able to do all of the work in the same day. It was a good experience.

LGD Garage Doors is my Garage Door Company. I own 3 homes and in the last job I had Amit come out and change my old springs and update them with new ones. I got charged 120 per springs + labor. The job went well. Amit was very courteous and nice to my dog. I will be in touch with this company for my garage door needs for the future as well.

Their service was great. The man was very professional and knowledgeable. He did exactly what he said he would do. They contacted me to schedule the deal and were on time for the appointment. I have no complaints with the service.

The company contacted me immediately after I ordered the service and set up an appointment. They said they would be there between 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. They came a little after 10:00 a.m., but he did say he tried to call me to let me know he was a little late. I work from home, so I may have been on the phone when he called. He looked at the garage door and asked me how old the opener was. I indicated I wasn't sure, but could be 20 yrs. old. He said he could not guarantee servicing the door because it was too old and offered to sell me a new opener for $400 (being their least expensive model). I declined and he left stating that he would have his boss call me. His boss never called me and I was never provided a telephone number for this vendor. I then emailed the vendor and have not gotten a response. I just want my money back and leave it at that.

LGD could not perform the repair. Not sure why a garage door company could NOT repair a spring which is what the coupon I PURCHASED offered. I understood that the spring we have is self encased . They offered a possible option a replacement of the whole structure which would be between $500 and $600. I called C's Garage Door in Bremerton and they are replacing it for $270 total. I have used C's garage Door in the past and they have always been excellent with their service, repair and price. I just thought that I would try LGD because of the deal. Never again!

Very pleased with this purchase. Worker was late, but had the courtesy to call and let me know that he would be late.

Ely sold me right from the start with his professionalism and knowledge. He also gave me more than an hour's notice that he was running late because of other jobs that required more time than anticipated, and provided a revised time. He ended up arriving about ten minutes early from the new time. Once he arrived, he immediately got to work, explaining what he was doing and why. He mentioned that the springs last about ten years, on average. Mine were 13 years old. He replaced them, balanced the door, lubed the wheels along the railings, and greased the springs. After he was done, I asked if he would show me how to maintain the door. He showed me how the door works, and how to lube the wheels and grease the springs, along with telling me what products to use (and what to avoid), and how frequently to do this (every 3-4 months). My garage was his last stop of the day and in spite of a particularly long day for him, he took at least ten additional minutes to go over this with me. He spent more than an hour here. It was well worth the $255 I spent (includes the $55 Angie's List Deal I purchased). I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them -- particularly if all of their techs are as skilled and professional as Ely.

The work was well done, fixed the door and a cable problem. I thought the price was very high, he was on site about 30 minutes, if that long. It took less than 10 minutes to fix the problem and almost that long to unload and load his tools. I had purchased a Angie's list deal for $55.00 that ended up costing me $219.00 and I don't really see what I got for the extra $164.00. Update: The manger/owner called me and after some discussion he agreed to refund me $62.00. This brought the work much closer to an expected cost. He stated several times that the work is done by the job not by time. The only problem with that is the time and job must be reasonable.

I've used them last year (around that) and since they did a great work at my place I gave them a good review and kept their number. I refereed them to my wife's parents and again they were very happy with the professionalism and the kindest, i also noticed last time that they trying to be extremely nice which is great for business. good work!

We got to LGD through my neighbors down the street. The service was fantastic and fast. they promised on there site same day service and i really liked it. Price was decent - generally very happy!

Called to set up an appointment at 8:00 am. They initially said they could be here between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. When I said I wanted to see if we could get someone sooner I was told that they could be out before 11:00. When no one showed up at 11:00 I called and they told me they could be out between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. They offered an explanation that they were busy with "a paid installation." I cancelled the appointment due to their failure to show up on time, failure to call when unable to make it on time, and perceived dishonesty with the initial time estimate.
