Our Nissan Versa wouldn't start Sunday. So after checking Angie's List and with our insurance company (no luck there) on Monday morning, we settled on Pete's Towing for getting our car from our driveway in Lea Hill in Auburn to the Nissan dealership in Renton. They gave us a quote of $116 (better by 50% than another nameless towing company) and promised an arrival time at our house in 45 minutes. Bryan knocked on our door promptly and got to work getting our car out of our pitched driveway and into the neighborhood street to get it hooked up. He was very conscious of our neighbor's driveways and picked a spot that didn't impede anyone's access to the road. He was also very efficient in getting our car ready to go. His driving was impeccable and he expertly maneuvered our car into a parking spot at the dealership. While I hope that I never have to use a tow truck again, not only would I use Pete's Towing, I am putting their phone number in my phone in case of engine failure away from home!

This is the towing company that you ABSOLUTELY WANT TO CALL and work with!!! If you need to call for a tow truck you are already having a bad day. So an already bad situation with our broken-down-car could have been compounded much more by a misunderstanding of credit card info. My card didn't go through and when they tried to call me I didn't get the call and didn't get the message until the next morning. They had to tow the car to their facility which then added a storage fee ($70) and additional towing expense ($129) to tow the car back to the drop-off address. I had been talking to Tandi who was very easy to work with from the moment I first called for a quote. Other towing companies had calculated the route going over I-520 (longer plus adding on the toll). I told her going down I-405 was more direct without the I-520 toll. She was willing to check and confirmed that route would work. The fact that she even stopped to listen and consider what I was saying was a surprise compared to the other quotes I received. PETE'S 24 Hr TOWING WAS also the lowest quote even before we talked about the more direct route.
Before - the credit card problem happened. My towing needs were for a later tow when someone could be at the drop-off site. They totally worked with me on this. I was able to make arrangements earlier in the day for an evening delivery. I even received a call from the driver to confirm when I wanted the car delivered so that he could figure out the best time to do it.
After calling Tandi the next morning about the undelivered car - it turned out the card number they were trying to use was off by one digit. It went through when she tried again. She talked to her manager (Carol) and due to the misunderstanding they DID NOT CHARGE THE ADDITIONAL FEES. I thought I was going to need to try negotiating to lower the extra charges. Tandi had already talked to Carol BEFORE calling me back to confirm the corrected card number went through.
Bottom Line -- I wish Pete's 24 Hr Towing handled wireless phones, cable TV and everything else I need. There was a problem with my card and they worked with me and kindly absorbed ALL of the extra expense incurred by needing to tow our car back to their facility and then tow it back. They are professional, deliver great service and take the time to listen to the customer.

We had the same driver we've had for previous episodes; he was calm, professional and friendly. On this visit he noticed that the two cars he had previously towed after each son had totalled it were still in the driveway. He remembered them and he told us of several salvage yards in the area and told us which one was currently paying the most. He also reminded us that our insurance would cover the cost of towing the wrecks to the salvage yard so not to have the salage yard come pick them up, as the cost of the salvage yard's transport would reduce what they paid for the wrecks. I had not known this and I really appreciated his advice.
While it is my fond hope that I will not need their services again any time soon, I will certainly call them if I do.

Pete's Towing showed up at the pre arranged time and the operator took great care to get my car up onto the flatbed of the truck using straps instead of chains to move the car. After securing the car to the truck, I followed him to Bellevue, where it was unloaded again with great care. I would not hesitate to use Pete's Towing again.

It was Sunday afternoon. In trying to drive out of a space in a parking lot, I forgot there was a curb in front of the car. I drove the front wheels forward over the curb and got stuck. I called Pete's, and someone was there to take the call. Just a few minutes later, a Pete's Towing truck pulled up. The guy quickly and expertly winched the car so that the front wheels went gently back over the curb and down the wood ramps he placed. He took great care to make sure my car would not get damaged. The price was reasonable. The service was quick and well done.
