Four Seasons Pro Cleaning

Janice quickly responded to my email inquiry (I prefer email over telephone calls) and we set up an appointment to meet at our home to go over the specifics. Janice arrived on time and after a tour of each floor she and I sat down to talk about the specifics. Once we agreed on what would be done and when, Janice pulled out a contract and drew it up with the details we'd just discussed. She is very professional and very pleasant. I opted to pay ahead of time for the initial cleaning and Janice made it very clear to me the check would be held until the first visit (and it was). We both signed the contract and I was given a copy for my records and a receipt for payment. I also opted to give Janice a key to our home which she assured me would not be marked in any way with our address or personal details to protect us. The work Four Seasons did for us is unrivaled in the many years I've had house cleaners in Seattle!

They arrived 1 1/2 hours earlier than they were scheduled. We had plans for the morning, and were surprised to see them already at our house when we came home. No one called to see if it was okay to come early. They cleaned the house in only 1 1/2 hours and a thorough cleaning should have taken twice that long. They did not pick up items and dust or clean under them. I had to go back clean what they missed. If you're not picky and don't want a thorough cleaning, maybe you wouldn't mind, but I did.

Janice came out the day after I called to give me a written estimate (she arrived a bit early). We scheduled a date 2 weeks ahead. When the day came, the cleaners arrived (again a little early) and one of them was proficient in speaking English, so there was no problem communicating what I wanted done. They got to work and went non-stop through the house paying particular attention to the kitchen, and the stove in particular. It was gleaming! I was impressed to see that they rolled up the scatter rugs and mopped beneath them. They moved all the chairs away from our tables to clean the floors underneath. They even dusted our computer desk which had literally hundreds of notes, Cd's, calculators, books, etc. cluttering it up...by removing everything, cleaning, and putting it back. This all took 20 minutes more than the estimate, but I wasn't charged any extra. They were very nearly as good as The Maids, which I consider the gold standard, but are more reasonably priced. I was very happy.

FSPC was very professional. Janice took my call and later came by the house to provide a written estimate. On the scheduled day, the person assigned arrived on time and did a great job on some very tough stains in addition to the standard items requiring a simple cleaning. She was here for a little less than four hours, and everything was done very thoroughly. While they were a more expensive than the free-lancers I have used in the past, the results were excellent and I would use them again when I need to get something done right.

I have them in every 2 weeks. They are a solid company and the customer support is wonderful. This is not the best cleaning service I have ever had but they do a good job and the house looks great every time they are there.

Janice showed up right on time for the estimate. They were flexible in their scheduling, and were able to move me one day ahead. The workers were very polite, pleasant, and professional.

Janice came out and gave an estimate right away. Two women were on time for the cleaning. The kitchen, bathrooms and hardwood floors looked great. They missed a few spots on dusting and missed the laundry room altogether. Carpets weren't vacuumed as well as I would have liked (their vacuum broke, so they used mine). I called Janice the next day and she came out herself and cleaned the missed spots and re-vacuumed.

It is amazing that they were able to clean the appliances -- they look new. The stove and over-the-range microwave were exceptionally greasy and they now look shiny and new. The house sparkled. They arrived on time and the crew was here about 4 hours. They brought all their own equipment and cleaning supplies, and then emptied the garbage when they left. No surface was left untouched. They did a great job -- much better than I had expected.

Excellent. Janice should up on time for the estimate and the work was completed when it was scheduled, a couple days later.

Amazing! The representative was very prompt in responding to my call and to visiting my home to provide an estimate. They were able to schedule a time to clean based on my request. The people who cleaned did a wonderful job. Very thorough - much better than I had hoped.

I've been impressed with my interactions with Janis--she's very professional and responsive whenever I call. I'm pretty happy with the cleaning crew and the work that they do. Although there are some points that I've discussed with Janis during our initial consult (like where the trash needs to be put out in our building, or how to turn the power back on when vacuum blows the breaker) that haven't gotten passed onto the crew that works at my house. This is only a problem because of a language barrier. But generally, I think they do as good of a job as anyone.

We had rented a very large old house that was not especially clean to begin with. We recently bought a house, but six years, three cats, one dog and a couple too busy to clean the rental house made it even worse. We didn't want to leave a bad impression with our landlord, who had been good to us, so we hired Four Seasons. They came out and gave us an estimate that was lower than we had been bracing for, and they made plans to come out a couple of days later. I just checked the work, and it was excellent. I found some mildew on the ceiling of the small bathroom, but considering the enormity of the job they tackled, it's no problem. I highly recommend them.

Janice came around promptly and quoted. The work was done when arranged and, as the work was slightly less than expected (the remodel was quite finished) she gave me a discount.

Janice is very professional and pleasant to deal with. Her estimate for the first cleaning was that it would take about two hours. As it turned out, the job took twice that long, but despite our repeated assurances that we would be more than happy to pay for the work performed, but Janice stuck by her original estimate. Our house is a remodeled rambler with a dining room and master suite added on. We have carpeting in the master bedroom and guest bedroom, and hardwood floors and oriental carpets everywhere else. It's just my wife and me and our two cats but we both work so things can get cluttered and dirty fast. We had a cleaning service once and the day after they were here, the house looked dirty again. With Four Seasons, the house still looks clean all the way to the weekend. This is because the their amazing attention to detail, and thoroughness. My wife and I still can't believe how much more pleasant our living space is because of their efforts.

It was great to begin with. I felt very comfortable with them in my house and the job was well done. As time went on, I felt the quality of service declined and we decided to save some money and cancel the service. It just wasn't worth it. Especially when they charged more money when we cut back from twice a month to one time. I was a little surprised at that. I canceled the service and requested our key be mailed back, and they still have our key and have charged my visa again. It is now one month after canceling service. House cleaning is supposed to be a treat, now it is a chore.

The first cleaning was very thorough, they did a great job overall. The cleaners did knock over an architectural model and broke it, so that was disappointing. But the cleaning was great. Over the months, the quality of their work went down. We asked several times for the cobwebs in the corners of the rooms to be removed and they weren't. The freezer would be left off so the food went bad. It was kind of hit and miss. By the end of their time with us, they weren't showing up on time and once didn't show up at all. Janice is very nice and seems like a good business woman. However, most of the cleaners didn't speak English so it was difficult to communicate with them.

They did an excellent job - we couldn't be more pleased. We have dogs, so things get out of control pretty fast. I didn't even remember that the hardwood floors actually shined. The house hasn't be this clean since long before the previous cleaning service we used started.

When I called Janice about hiring a housekeeper, she came over and did an estimate for a deep cleaning and for regular cleaning every other week. Both estimates were right on. The initial deep cleaning they did of our house was amazing! A great way to start off and definitely something to do once or twice a year. They clean our house every other week, and when we stick to our regular schedule, usually the same two people do the work. It has taken a little while for us to get used to each other--where things go and what we need to do before they come, but things are running smoothly now. Four Seasons does good work, and I always look forward to being at home after they've been there. Occasionally we need to reschedule, and they are great about finding a time that is close to our normal day. Sometimes it is different people who come when we reschedule, and they aren't used to our house and don't always do the same kind of work. Overall, we are very happy with Four Seasons!

They did a thorough job. We were very pleased with the results.

The work was done initially during the terrible December windstorm as the electricity was going on and off. This might have contributed to some of the cleaning either not done or not done adequately. We called Janice who immediately said she would make it right and 3 workers came back the next day and completed the job thoroughly. We were not happy with the initial work, but were very pleased with how it was handled and the final outcome.

Outstanding job. My three daughters continue to rave about the sparkling condition of their shared bathroom. Janice was late on her initial visit due to difficulty finding the house, but she called to let me know. She is very thorough and professional. The two women who came to clean were pleasant and very hard working. They arrived within the estimated time. They worked the entire five hours without a break. We ran out of time to address the basement which will be done at the next clean. I am completely satisfied with the work and the value and would definitely recommend them and hire again.

We requested bids from several housecleaners, a few recommended on Angie's List and some others from the internet. After all the bids were in, the combination of great pricing and Janice's personable nature convinced us to give Four Seasons a try. We've now had out house cleaned several times, and other than a couple of inadvertent broken items (the ladies are great about fessing up immediately) they have done a spot-on job. We are very happy with their service and would highly recommend Janice and her crew to anyone looking for a reliable housecleaner.

Didn't have a good experience. The team they sent didn't read or speak English, so I couldn't communicate any changes to the cleaning routine. In terms of the cleaning, it was not a thorough job. Found dust behind doors, trash bags not replaced, garbage not out to appropriate receptacles, appliances not plugged back in, vacuum bag not replaced when full, so carpet still had dog hair on it.

I have used their service at least six times. They have done a poor job almost every time. Janice, our account exec, is very nice and even came over once to show the team what I wanted done and to oversee their work. However, I did not seem an improvement. Basics like wiping down the microwave or vacuuming the sofa cushions were overlooked regularly. Also, each time--except for the initial cleaning--they were here LESS than two hours. I won't be using them again.

Janice came to our house to determine what we wanted done and provide an estimate. She was very pleasant and professional. She brought two cleaners with her to do the work on the appointed day and oriented them to our house. They cleaned the bedrooms and bath upstairs first, with Janice supervising and generally did a very good job. After Janice left, they moved downstairs. They completely neglected to wash the kitchen floor, nor did they wash the wood floors in the living and dining room, they did not vacuum the rugs in those two rooms either. They did not move appliances on the kitchen counters, so the back of the counters still had crumbs and grime. All of these tasks were things that we had discussed being part of the job we contracted for. When contacted, to her credit, Janice offered to come back the next day and complete the job herself, but we declined because we were upset at the poor job and just decided to finish it ourselves that evening.
