They cut a whole in the wall and left a mess on the floor. He also walked right through "doggie landmines" and continued to walk through the house not caring at all. He actually came twice; the first time he didn't have the right ladder to run an ice-maker line. And he also didn't have enough line to run it. He said my son could do it later and suggested we go to Home Depot for the parts.

I received same day service. The plumber was very professional and prompt.

We had an under-sink water filter explode - partially flooding our kitchen. They came out the following day, removed that worthless item and capped the pipe it was attached to.

Dave met with us about the projects. He ordered the tub/ shower and scheduled the work to be done in coordination with the contractor. His crew Jacob and Nigel were professional, knowledgeable and efficient. The work was completed quickly and we are very pleased with the job. We would recommend Marv's Plumbing highly.

After arriving at our home and looking at our problem, was told he did not have the materials needed to fix the problem. I would have to pay for him to pick materials up and return. Decided not to go that way and when asked about cost, was told he could not provide and I would be billed later. The person was at our house just less than an hour. When I received the bill later in the mail was billed for two hours, when I questioned was told that was his "travel time" even though I am only 15 minutes from the center of the City. Never was told that there was a $100 travel time fee that would be added to my bill. $200 for something they could not fix - watch out for these guys!!!

I had work done by Marv's Plumbing and they were able to come out the next day even though there was no rush. I was told on the phone that I'd be able to get an estimate of the work I wanted done once the technician arrived, but when he did, he said he didn't do the billing and that Dave did, so he couldn't give me an estimate. I asked him how long it would take and he said and hour or so. Based on reviews, I estimated the cost myself at $90 an hour plus parts, and told him to go ahead. They did charge $90 per hour. He was at our home for less than 2.25 hours (closer to 2). However, when I received the bill, I was charged for 3.25 hours. I called: 3/3/15 - Spoke to Dave who said he'd look into it and get back to me 3/6/15 - Left a message as I hadn't heard anything [called a couple times in between, but kept getting the answering machine and didn't leave more messages] 3/13/15 - After a flurry of calls to and from Dave and Michelle, I was finally informed that they charge time for the drive time and they accidentally charged me an extra half-hour. I let them know the technician got lost and called me for directions on the way here and they knocked the bill down by another 15 minutes for that time. The work seems decent, but the billing and customer service is unacceptable and I will not be using their services again.

Andrew (2nd time he's been to our house...good enough the 1st time I asked for him the 2nd time). Very professional and courteous. Came to the house and figured out what the problem was quickly. Suggested the faucet needed replacing so we had him put in a new faucet. In doing so he discovered another leak from the dishwasher and he fixed that as well. Took about 2 hrs so new faucet and reasonable price all around. Great guy, great service. Will definitely use Marv's in the future again.

Very prompt response to our request for a quote. Installation was on time and done in a professional manner. And, a couple of days later we had an alarm come on due to a plugged drain valve and Marv's had a technician at our house the same day we called. Very happy with our experience with Marv's Plumbing

Dave came by my house within 30 minutes of my phone call. He quickly determined that the issue was not my water heater but an electrical issue that could be fixed in the future. He got my water heater working and even answered my questions on some toilet issues I had in my downstairs bathroom. This was all done at a no charge. I don't typically write reviews, but thought Marv's plumbing professionalism was outstanding.

We left an e-mail message for them at approx 7:00 AM stating that we wanted them to install a new hot water heater as ours just failed...Note- I said 'install" not give us an estimate ! We waited as long as we could before contacting another Co. At 12:30 PM we finally got a call asking how they could help. We made our decision to have them do it purely on Angies List referrals and good comments. So- We can't say if they do good work or not...they just didn't do any ! Seems like 5 hours would be enough time to return a call...(We finally contacted another Co. at 12:00 PM) especially regarding no hot water...Oh well...we tried...Like we said ...they may be perfectly good people...we just don't know...

I asked to reconnect a gas range and rebuild a Moen Faucet and call me before you arrive. I came home to find that the floor installer had reconnected the gas but the plumber had not called me and did not do the faucet as it was not in his instructions. This was at 3:45 PM. I called and was told he would back yet that evening. At 6:40 I was still waiting and called back. The answer was, "Oh we got busy and won't get back tonight. Call us next week." My schedule was full the next and this presented a problem. I went to another provider.

Excellent service per usual. We always use them for our plumbing needs.

Project went well. Will use them in the future for smaller repairs.

Replacement fast and done very well.

Involved cutting a small hole in the back of a closet to get to the problem area. An amazingly small hole and exactly where it was needed.

The house was built in 1909 so the plumbing was old. The shower shut-off valve no longer worked for controlling hot and cold. The plumber had to carefully cut through the backside of the wall to reach the pipes without breaking the old tile in the shower itself. It was a slow but carefully done job. The supervisor gave instructions to the younger plumber and returned to check on the progress, which we appreciated. The other two minor jobs were quite satisfactory.

Marv's plumbing was on time, quick, efficient, and by far the best priced! I must have called on 5 other plumbers in the area and they all wanted to nickel and dime me. Not Marv's! Marv's went in did the job and charged me a very fair price. I will be using them from now on for all my plumbing needs. Thank you!

They were absolutely wonderful. They quoted a price when I made my initial contact, and that's what they charged. They arrived on time, and did the job in less than an hour. No fuss, no muss. The young man who did the work was professional, competent, and efficient. I will certainly call on Marv's for any future plumbing needs.

Had a plugged kitchen sink for two days that we thought we could fix. DIY is not recommended for plumbing! Called Marv's Plumbing on Saturday morning and one of his guys showed up within 2 hrs. It was a tough plug, years of grease that had build up 20 feet down the line, but he managed to tear through it. He had a little kids Birthday Party to go to but showed up and was determined to get us fixed up. Great employee, professional, nice, and didn't mind all the dogs! Lol

I called them and received a quote that was close to the most of the other plumbing companies in Bellingham. They were able to come out within two days and replace my old hot water heater. The young man who installed it was professional and helpful. He removed the old heater and replaced the new one well within the estimated time. I haven't used Marv's to clean any drains yet, but I wouldn't hesitate to call them or refer anyone to them. I was very satisfied with their service.

So far, seal is holding. Received call from office advising me of estimate to make permanent seal and when it could be done. Provider responded to call within 2 hours of making call to their office, and plumber who came to house was knowledgeable and provided good explanation of situation and proposed solution.

Couldn't have been better. Plumber was competent, friendly, helpful and professional. Price was very reasonable. These guys are my plumbers from now on.

Looked this company up on Angies list. Called him: Gave me rough 2 hour estimate for the filter installation and the connection to the fridge. The plumber he sent took 3 hours and 15 minutes for the job. The guy was ok. When I get the bill the bill is for 6 and a quarter hours. They padded it by 3 hours. When I called them about it they gave me this story about travel time ( I am about 20 minutes from their address in Ferndale). Then gave me this story about how they have to replenish their truck so they are charging me for the time it will take them to buy 20$ worth of plumbing parts. They brought the bill down by 1 hour but still charged me for 5.25 hours.
