Description of Work: Had a hose bib replaced that burst during recent freeze. I called and requested that they come out ASAP. Said they would come the next day but when I told them I was home that day, they said they would try to get out at the end of the day if at all possible. Their person showed up around 3:30 that same day. He was professional, did not waste time, and did a good job. We would hire them again.

Description of Work: Relocated plumbing for a bath/shower.

Description of Work: I have a "slow drain" problem in a rental house. It's outside in a basement landing. Plummer checked it and cleaned it. Discovered that there is no pipe connected to the drain, just a gravel bed. He cleaned it out. Water now drains. | |I had to call twice, don't know if they lost my first message. Second time I called, they came right away when I told them it was a drain clogged and it was raining and could possibly flood the basement. | |Cost is about average. 2 hrs. For $180.00 plus tax.

Description of Work: I had serious problems with an old toilet in an old house. I have had |two previous plumbers come to unclog it in the past couple of years who only used a snake device and charged as much. Tom from Merv's Plumbing arrived |on time and went right to work, unseating the toilet and dealing with |issues below the floor and resealing it. It was a miserable and hard job |that took sustained hard work and use of several tools and supplies to fix. Tom worked hard and fast and was friendly and pleasant throughout. |He then fixed issues with the tank, providing greater water flow. |He worked steadily, with many trips from up and down a flight of stairs |to his truck for supplies for almost two hours. This was a plumbing job |that no one previous had wanted to tackle. I was so grateful to finally |get it fixed, not just unclogged. I can't thank him enough. In addition, |Merv's Plumbing deducted 10% from the reasonable bill because I found |them through Angie's List. How can you beat that? More than satisfied.

Description of Work: cleared a bathroom sink drain. The drain works well and they repaved a piece of the drain pipe. We had a slight malfunction of our toilet flushing. The repair man checked it and replaced the part. He had parts on the truck. It all went smoothly and |we are satisfied.

Description of Work: Our families have been using Marv's Plumbing for as long as I can remember. I handle three homes and Dave and his crew have been our saving grace. From leaky showers, broken hot water heaters to the nasty job of sludge backing up a toliet and shower. Call Dave - set an appointment he will send someone out as soon as possible, even on a week-end if you need them. Always fair, polite and courteous. Sometimes, especially with water it might take more than one call because they fix it and the water finds it's way around but Dave and his staff will stay on it until it is perfect

Description of Work: We had gotten one other quote before Marvs and it was for $1700. Marvs came out on Friday did the estimate and agreed to be there on Monday to do the job. We had a pipe break under our lawn or driveway somewhere. They decided to just run a new line down the side of the driveway and cap off the old one. They also told us if we dug the ditch ourselves (which we could do over time) it would save it quite abit of money and so we did.

Description of Work: I Called Marv's Plumbing and I got their answering machine. I left a detailed message and explained that I was concerned that I may have a leaking pipe in the wall of my garage. My phone call was never returned. I would recommend that you use another plumber. I used Favinger and they provided excellent service!

Description of Work: Water Heater sprung a leak and needed replacing. I had received an estimate earlier in the year (about 5 months prior) and they honored it. Were out within a few days to complete the work. I also had a recirc pump installed. There was a problem with the timer which took 2 trips to correct and was handled satisfactorily.
