Rainier Garage Door

Rainier Garage Door was offering a promotion through Angie's List, and so we decided to use this company initially for garage-door inspection. During that inspection, I asked about the best and/or quietest garage door system available, since we have a garage with a bedroom directly above it. A normal-type garage door is heard every time it opens, so I wanted to eliminate that noise. They invited me to their show room in Bellevue and asked me exactly what I wanted; no sales pressure whats-so-ever. The salesman was very professional and provided an estimate of what I requested. It was expensive, but the price was reasonable for what I wanted and for the quality I was looking for. The technician that came out was punctual and very professional. I was incredibly satisfied; the work performed was right at my standards. The entire experience was pleasant from start to finish. I would recommend them any time.

Everything went great. I love the door.

They came out one day, gave me a bid. I accepted the bid, made an appointment. The tech. came out the day of the appointment on time. He did the work as planned and made sure the door was installed correctly and worked properly.

The man from Rainier Door was critical of the previous work that had been done on my doors. I was put-off by his attitude, called the previous workman who gave me a cheaper bid and did the job.

It was good. We liked the turn over time in getting it installed and the ease in working with them.

It was fine. They seemed to know what they were doing.

They were excellent. They were very prompt. They stick to their estimates. The man who did the install was nice, efficient and did a good job.

I called at around 8:30 AM and Jay was out by 9:30 AM and finished by 11:30 AM. Jay gave me all of my options, and then I chose to go with a garage door opener replacement. Glad I did--it works great! We also got a garage door keypad and he reprogrammed the remote in my car. I really couldn't ask for better service. Faster than Sear's and the $$ spent stays with a local company. That's important to me. I would recommend them to any of my friends.

They did an excellent job. Jason Rudzinski, the owner, came out in a timely fashion to give us an estimate. He was very thorough in his presentation and very clearly explained all of the options to us. He didn't try to sell us the most expensive option. The workman came out right on time, cleaned up after himself completely and everything is working well. Their price was reasonable as well.

Jason called to tell me when he was on his way. He arrived shortly after the two hour window we had originally been given for his arrival. He was very professional, efficient, and willing to answer all of my questions. He noticed the type of spring on our garage door (Torque master) and explained that when it breaks it will cost a lot of money to convert to pro torsion. I appreciated the forewarning so that we're not so shocked at the cost when that time comes. We chose to replace our Craftsman garage door opener with a Marantec because we were sick of having a plastic part strip out so often. The Marantec 4700 is so quiet, it's amazing! We're confident we'll be much happier with it. Jason asked if our vehicle had Homelink so that he could program it. That saved us having to shell out additional money for another remote. :) He installed a keypad and showed us how to program it. He took all the parts of the old garage door opener and all the packaging from the new one so that we didn't have to deal with all that garbage. Rainier Garage Door recyles the metal parts, which I appreciated. It only took him maybe 75 minutes total to remove a broken garage door opener and install a better one. Job well done, Jason!

I called on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 pm and Jason's schedule was full for the day. Because I had an emergency and could not get my car out of the garage he came anyway around 4pm that same day Saturday to fix the door. It took a little over one hour and he fixed the door. He said he did exactly what he would have done if it was his garage door. He did a great job, was very professional, friendly, punctual and charged a very good price. I thank you Jason, exceptional job!

I made the call yesterday and received great service today! Jay was professional and helpful - and - my garage door works now!

Did a great job from start to finish. I originally had schedule them for the special maintenance through Angieslist but before they arrived the garage door had started to fall apart and was in pieces - it was wood, old and rotten and could not be opened using the garage door opener. I knew it would mean new doors but they deducted the service cost from the installation of the new doors, which was great. The estimate was spot on and they arrived on time and had everything ready to go. The young man, Juan, who came and did the installation did a wonderful professional job. He was willing to answer all my questions, he also had me try everything to make sure it was to my satisfaction, including the garage door openers and the keypad etc. He left the place cleaner than it was when he arrived. I would certainly recommend them to friends.

As i mention, Jason is very professional and knowlegable. Perform the tune-up in a timely fashion and adjusted the remote sensors ( not installed properly from the original installer...) Very satisified, and would highly recommend.

I emailed requesting a quote and received a prompt call back. A representative was onsite within a few days and provided a quote about $1500 less than any other I received. The dispatcher, estimator and crew were all punctual and professional. If you are in the market for garage doors, this is the company to use. Angie's List members get the royal treatment so make sure to mention that's how you found them.

Very professional, completed all services in a timely mannor

We contacted them about a consult for our extremely noisy garage door. They were available for a same-day visit, but we were not able to accommodate this, and it certainly wasn't urgent. Jason came out the following day and was extremely professional and thorough in explaining the options with my wife (she is not easily impressed). We have a new baby with the nursery right above the garage and the old door opener rattled the entire house. After discussing a tune-up vs. replacement we opted for a new, super quiet opener and rubber wheels for the door. The opener needed to be ordered, so we set up an appointment for an install the following week. They received the unit quickly, and called us to set up the install several days sooner than planned. The installer (also named Jason) was very professional and knowledgeable. The job was completed in an extremely timely fashion. They cleaned up after themselves by removing the boxes and old hardware. The garage door is now barely audible while standing in the garage, and even our dog has a tough time hearing it from inside the house! We are extremely pleased with the product and service provided by Rainier Garage Door.

They were excellent. They did perfect work. They did it in time and on budget. I got four bids. They were the lowest bid by quite a bit. They used same material and did an excellent job.

The service provider was very punctual, stayed within his approximate estimate and was quick to fix the door.

Jason showed up exactly on time. He also called 5 minutes before he showed up to confirm I was home and ready for him. He analyzed the problem and gave me two different options for the repair (one more expensive and one less expensive.) I chose the latter and he completed the work in a little over an hour. He answered all of my questions and helped me work through what was the more economical repair.

Tech was on time, provided detailed information, worked efficiently and provided excellent service.

Although the estimate from this company was somewhat higher than others - we chose them due to the professionalism the estimator had. We had to change the date for the installation and they were very helpful. The installer came as scheduled and worked quickly and efficiently - the door was tested, adjusted and worked fine when we returned.

Doug from Rainier came out within two hours of my phone call! He replaced a broken door spring with a high cycle Galvanized steel torsion spring. He also replaced all the rollers with nylon rollers with sealled barings. I wanted him to open and inspect my garage door opener even though it was an additional service charge. I was happy to pay for the new rollers and the extra 15 minute charge while he was still there. Finding out that there was no problems with my garage door opener gave me peace of mind. He was extremely pleasant and honest and willing to explain everything he was doing. It was my choice to replace the rollers due to noise problems. I was glad he didn't push these extra services on me. I wanted my door to operate as quietly as possible and was willing to have him do what he could to make it so. He was great about cleaning up the mess as well. I would choose Rainier Door if I ever needed service on my garage door again!
