Rainier Garage Door

Rainier was very helpful on the phone, had a showroom to see the openers (although the one I was interested in wasn't on display), and did a good job matching the price of a competitor. The installer showed up in the very last minute of his window (but on time) and was not equipped with a ladder tall enough to work with my garage's high ceilings. I had to lend him my ladder and some assistance on several occasions. His immediate advice was that the opener would not fit where I wanted to install it because of an overhead storage unit. We were about to take a sawzall to the unit, when a final measurement indicated that it would fit fine. After he installed it, he did a good job tuning and left. After he left, I turned off the lights in the garage and tried the opener one more time without success. The opener was installed into a switched outlet, so I had to go back up the ladder and find a new power source. Overall I was not happy with the amount of work I had to do to get this installed....and pay $400.

Came out right away to service door. Took time to go over everything thoroughly, including things to watch for in the future. Also taught me how to recode the house opener, as directions given were not correct.

The overall job - from my phone call to their office to the completed job was very professional. The personal were very polite, knowledgeable, and on time. I cannot think of anything I would change that would improve this Company.

I called Rainier based on its Angie's rating. A repairman was going to be available to come to my house within the hour so I immediately rushed home to meet him. Jay was on time, polite, professional, and knowledgeable. The repair was done relatively quickly and at the agreed price (and with an Angie discount). I was very impressed with their service and would gladly use them again.

The technician tuned up the misbehaving double car door to perfection and added a tuneup for my single car door at an additional cost of only $44.

I found Rainier after a search on Angie's List. I emailed them with the details of my problem. Within a couple of hours Jason emailed me back with a general quote and asked me to call him for a more detailed quote, which I did the next morning. He advised me the basic service charge cost and the discounts that could be available to me depended on what needed to be done to fix or replace the garage door opener. We set an appointment for the next day, which was my choice, he offered same day service. The repair technician called me prior to the appointment and told me when he thought he would arrive, which he did within about 15 minutes of his estimate. Together, we got the garage door opened manually and he quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty door opener switch which inside the garage. He removed the old and installed a replacement. We tested all the remote garage door openers to be sure everything worked. The appointment lasted for less the 30 minutes, and I was only charged for a basic service call, less the Angies list discount. He did not charge me for the replacement switch. I found everyone at Rainier Garage Door to be courtious, professional and prompt. I would most definately use them again.

Installed while we were on vacation. It was all done when we returned.

There suggestion worked perfectly. I now have two working remotes.

The spring broke on our garage door on Friday evening, of course. I call on Saturday to schedule service and they were able to fit me it on the following Tuesday. They were very prompt - even giving a 30 minute courtesy call, which is always appreciated. Both of our springs were quickly replaced. The service tech noticed that they board in which our door sensor was anchored to was cracked, so he took it upon himself to move the sensor. This fixed a completely different issue with our door not closing in heat - 3 other companies had not been able to diagnose that problem. Great service - definitely recommend!!

I had a single broken spring on my garage door. Called Rainer at 8am, they were able to schedule an appointment between 10:30am and Noon, same day (awesome!). I got a call before they arrived, and they showed up within in the window stated (I think it was just before 11am). The tech, I belive it was Jason, was very profesional, after looking at my situation confirmed all that was required was to replace the single spring, he made some comments of potential other work that could be done, but stated it was completely optional not required. I liked that he did a review of the entire door and opening system, then made comments but wasn't trying to upsell at all. I opted to replace the little plastic door wheels, which he was able to do along with the spring. Total price was inline with the quote over the phone. The work was done very quickly; with 30 minutes. I am completly happy with the service and the work. After this experience I wouldn't think of looking at any other company for this type of work. Very well done.

Rainier garage door sent someone out within 2 days of my call (they offered to send someone same day but that didn't work for my schedule). Jay was the technician and he quickly repaired the tension cable and reset the tension on our garage door. He was finished in about 15 minutes and then gave me some advice on choosing new garage doors. He also discussed automatic garage door openers and the various options. Jay was friendly and professional. I definitely will use this company again!

I called to set up a appointment. He arrived on time and went right to work on the garage door. After examining the door, he told me that the door was a very large one and it had warped a little. But all it needed at this time was to oil and tighten the hinges. He told me to oil the hinges again in about 6 months, and that is all that is needed now.

Jay arrived at exactly the time we were told to expect him. The work was professional and we were given tips on how to prolong the life of the new springs.Price was just as we were quoted. Excellent service and we would use this company again!

Jason came by at the appointed time, he weighed the door to determine which torsion springs were required, he completed the work in a professional and efficient manner after which he pointed out areas of wear that I may want to consider replacing at some point. I appreciated his comments and lack of any pressure to do any additional work.

We have two older doors for which parts are no longer sold, and one of them was stuck. One door had an ancient opener on it that did not close properly, and the other door had no previous opener at all. Technician Jay provided an honest assessment of the likelihood of success of bringing the stuck door back to function and then gave me the opportunity to opt out of part of the originally quoted job. We proceeded with installing both openers anyway, and Jay was able to make both doors and openers work well. The company honored its original price quote despite the extra work, and completed the job in the time they originally forecast. Jay explained the system thoroughly and answered my questions. He was respectful and professional throughout. We would definitely use this company again!

It took less than five minutes to do the job, and the price just went up. They were prompt and professional with me. I wouldn’t recommend using them because of the price.

I was very pleased with all aspects of my first contact with Rainier Garage Door. I will recommend them, and call them again, if needed. I was also impressed that Jay was able to perform all the needed repairs and replace all the rollers on both doors with rollers of much higher quality within the time allowed for the initial service call. My total labor bill, with my Angie's list discount, was only $80.

I called late Friday afternoon and Ranier had an available appointment between 12 - 2 the next day. Service tech was there around 3:30, replaced garage door spring and bushings. Tech was very professional and friendly. I would use them again for similar service.

After finding Rainier on Angie's list, I called them and spoke to Jason. He had me take pictures of the garage door and it's components and email them to him. From the photos, he was able to give me a precise estimate and set up the install. The repairs and installation took about 3 hours and the work was exceptional.

Fantastic. Professional. On time. Fast and reasonable. I would definately use them again.

They did a good job of identifying the problem, how to solve without overdoing it, and not doing unnecessary stuffs.

This is a long over due review. The work was performed almost a year ago and as I'm writing this review all I can say is both Jason and Juan did a fantastic job. I picked this company over the other two that I got estimates from because of Jason's attitude and willingness to work with us, what we want and our schedule. Jason was willing to show up one day with two sets of doors, set these doors up so we could inspect and see what looked best, make our decision and then he completed one door that day and returned the next day with the two other doors and completed the job. He was the only one that would do this, the others that I contacted for bids would not. I provided one of the garage door openers, there was an issue with the garage door opener that I supplied, Juan worked with me and returned on another day to fix the issue with a smile and no additional expense to work with my, keep in mind this was my garage door opener that I had them install. We love our garage doors, the neighbors still tell us how nice they look. The two quiet garage door openers that they provided are super quiet and everything, let me repeat everything works great. When the job was done Juan cleaned the garage spotless, I did not find one screw, nail or any fastener laying on the garage floor waiting to puncture my car tire, not one. These guys are great and I will use them when I have any garage door needs. Their bid was in line with the other two compaines that I cheked but their customer service is a step above the rest. It's nice to work with a contractor that takes pride in their work, these guys ROCK.
