Rainier Garage Door

Went to showroon on Bellevue to look at my options and ordered the new door a few days later. The installed the new door a few weeks later. Did a great job putting in new low overhead tracks and connecting to my existing opener.

I thought they were excellent. They took down they old doors and installed new ones with openers. Their service was excellent.

This company and experience is a good example of why Angie's List is such a valuable resource. I found them here on Angie's list to purchase a garage door opener and have it installed. Price was competitive (I chose a couple of add-ons which upped my total cost) and I feel like I got a great product for a great price. Becky in the showroom was knowledable and friendly and gave me the information I needed to make a decision. We had a super nice installer - Greg was on time, informative, friendly and efficient. I had this installed to surprise my husband for his birthday and everything went perfectly. Makes me sigh with relief when you trust other people's reviews and find that they're exactly what they're known for - excellent all-around. I highly recommend!

Jason at Rainier Garage Doors has a show room where you can see an actual door and opener and also samples of different door materials from different companies. He explains and answers questions and has price sheets available. Many other companies I called will come out to measure, don't have showrooms, and can't tell you prices for doors until they come out to measure. For instance, one company I called was offering $100 off any Liftmaster opener but when he came and gave me an estimate--the discounted price was almost the same as another company's regular price. I found Jason's prices very competitive. After he came out to measure for the doors, they were installed a week later. The workman who installed them did a great job--he was very polite and worked very hard!

Called them and they requested that we take and send pictures of the damage. We did and never heard back. We did not follow up as we called another company the following day and they came right out and took care of the problem.

Rainier Garage Door was great. They gave us an accurate estimate when we called and promptly scheduled an appointment for the repair. Greg called, as promised, before he arrived and was right on time. He was very professional and courteous, and clearly knew his stuff. The repair was completed quickly and Greg offered several recommendations for preventative maintenance without any expectations or pressure to buy additional services. We will definitely use Rainier Garage Door for any future repair needs!

The guy who used to come and do the work for me has been promoted to the office. I called him and told him I needed help. He came out the next day. They really treat you like family. I have used them for more than twenty years.

Jason arrived within the scheduled 90-minute window, and finished the job in less than an hour. The scheduling was easy; they had appointments available the day I called, but I scheduled out a couple of days. Great experience.

Greg worked late (he had a longer-than expected appointment earlier in the day),called to confirm that this would be okay, kept me posted as to his arrival, examimed the broken mechanism, and corrected the problem. The level of service from the initial phone contact through the completion of the job was exceptional. Every part of the contact with each of the employees was professional, courteous, and effective. The high level of excellence was set by the initial telephone contact and continued through every aspect of the job.

The spring broke on our garage door. We checked Angie's List and contacted Rainier Garage Door. They gave an accurate estimate, and arrived the next day. Work and price was completed per agreed estimate. Recommended.

I highly recommend working with Rainier Garage Door because there are "no hidden costs" - all prices are readily available to customers and "lookers' on printed sheets. I got pricing from 3 other firms - one in their showroom where a price was scribbled in pencil on a picture of a door - likewise with a wellknown company where the estimator came to my house and wrote a price above a picture in a brochure - the third didn't even have a brochure or picture - just wrote a price on a sheet of paper. If you want a professoinal experience go with Rainier! Jason was very informative at the showroom and easy to work with when we were ready to purchase. Juan, the technician, did a great job under difficult circumstances as the lighting wasn't working in the dark concrete garage, plus we had some typical clutter in the back of it, and he had no complaints even though I'm sure it took him longer than it should have (good thing we bought the one with the glass inserts so there was a little bit of natural light peeking through).

Rainier arrived on-time, were very professional and quickly made fixed most of the problems. However, after they left we noticed that it still needed adjustment as it opened with a bang. No problem though, one quick call and they came back out and quickly made the final adjustment. They also applied the silencer package. Door now works perfectly.

The service technician, Juan, was very professional and took pride in his work. He called us when he was running behind to give us a new arrival time (only about 15 minutes later than the window initially provided). Juan progressed very methodically and made sure to check on items such as positioning the interior and exterior switches. He even inquired as to whether he could listen to his radio while he worked. The installation took a total of about six hours. Juan did a great job cleaning up after the installation work -- actually left the garage cleaner than when he arrived, in addition to wiping down the new door completely to get rid of any hand/fingerprints. He reviewed the workings of the door, the remotes, and the outside keypad. He also programed the Homelink systems in both our autos, which saved us the trouble of doing so ourselves. He also caulked around the door trim, which was a really nice finishing touch. All in all, a wonderful experience from start to finish. Felt that the installer went above and beyond.

Decided to use a less expensive (but less professional) provider.

First I visited the showroom in Bellevue where Jason patiently explained the differences in available garage doors and openers, gave me a price list and left the choice up to me. As there was considerable damage to the post between the garage doors, he also recommended a contractor to make the repairs prior to installation. The contractor was also excellent: Stephen DuBoise of Platinum Home Services. All work was finished promptly and to my total satisfaction.

Called Rainier at about 9:00 on Saturday and they gave me a quote for their minimum charge, a 30-minute service call, and told me that most calls are completed within 30 minutes. They also said they could have Jay, their technician, at our house between 11:30 and 1:30 the same day. After I gave the okay to have their technician come, she asked how I heard of them. After mentioning Angie's List she said that I would be getting a 10% discount for being an Angie's List subscriber. Jay called us about 10:45 and said he could be at our home by 11:00 if that was okay. He arrived right at 11:00 and fixed the problem within 15 minutes. Jay then inspected our two garage doors and lubricated everything. After finishing that he pointed out areas that may become a problem in the future just so I would be aware of them. There wasn't any pressure, just great information from a courteous technician. I highly recommend this company and will use them again if needed

What little contact I had, I felt the company is worthy of any future garage door needs.

The technician arrived on time and replaced the wheels on the track. He also lubed and checked everything, including the motor. He completed the job so quickly and efficiently. My garage door is a lot quieter now because of the wheels that he installed! I also had a couple of questions for him pertaining to the garage door, and he was able to explain everything to me and gave some good advice. It was a good experience overall!

Excellent Jay arrived in very short time and was professional prepared with the parts I wanted and quicly did the work necessary. I would definetly use Rainier again for my new doors which I am looking at replacing.

They were really good. They were prompt, honest and quick. They did exactly what they said they would do. The price was pretty good as well. I couldn’t have asked for more from them. I would rate them highly.

I took advantage of "The Big Deal" from Rainier Door. Jason arrived promptly at 8:05 a.m. (he would have been here at 8:00 a.m. if our house was shown correctly on a GPS) and got right to work. He was very polite, introduced himself, and discussed what he was going to do. The Big Deal was for a garage door tune up that included replacing the rollers with new nylon bal bearing rollers. He quickly replaced the rollers, lubricated all hinges, bearings, and the garage door opener rail. This made an instant improvement on the quietness and smoothness of my door. There was still a wobble at the bottom of the travel and I asked Jason about it. He said it may be from the rollers due to bearing wear. He gave them a little extra lubrication and while it helped it didn't cure the problem. As he watched the door he noticed that it might be that the track is mis aligned at the bottom on the left side. He loosened the bolts and adjusted the track as well as he could and the problem almost went totally away. Jason also went through and tightened all of the hinge bolts and noted that many were loose. He suggested that I check them every 6 months as they will loosen with vigration over time. Note that the adjustment of the track and tightening of the hinge bolts was not part of the original Big Deal. This was pure customer service. .
