Overall, great. On time, professional, did the work promptly and with courtesy and a willingness to explain the options and costs.

We were very satisfied with our experience with Rainier Garage Door. We visited their showroom first to see what they had in stock and what our association would allow us to install. They were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. On the installation day they arrived on time and did a great job explaining everything to us. Only issue was that they were out of the opener that we had ordered so they gave us a free upgrade to the fancier model. We were very pleased with everything that they did and would highly recommend them.

I had a very positive experience with them. Although they got behind the schedule and rescheduled the initial appointment with me, they called in advance and apologized. I had to have a new garage door before moving into my house and did not have much time. They accommodated my needs and called me immediately when they got a cancellation from another customer. They quickly installed a new garage door & garage door opener and their rate was cheaper than the rate I got from Home Depot.

The technician was on time, assessed the work to be done, and performed the tune-up in a timely fashion.

After the original installation, the door would jam. Had to call tech out again. The resident works nights so we scheduled rework appointment for first thing in the morning, when resident arrived home from work. Tech called to reschedule after resident waited up several hours for them to show. This happened a couple of times.

During the first appointment, we had a new garage door opener installed because the old one was no longer working. At the same time, we replaced the rollers. The homelink system in my car couldn't be programmed because the technology was old, so I bought a "repeater kit" in order to continue using the button that was hardwired in my car. The technician came out a second time to swap out the repeater kit because the first one was working intermittently. I don't think there was anything wrong with the repeater kit and it was explained to me that there was some sort of interference that was interrupting it on occasion. The second one didn't work any better than the first, so I ended up using the clicker that came with the opener. The technician came out a third time because I was getting an error message on the garage door opener pad indicating excessive force was used to close the garage door. It turned out that several parts (cables, pulleys, springs and hinges) were worn out and needed to be replaced. Because these parts were old, the garage door was not closing evenly from both sides. At this time I also returned the repeater kit because it was still working intermittently. Although it was frustrating to schedule three different appointments to fix my garage door situation, I don't think it was anybody's fault. Rainier Garage Door was very accommodating in coming back out without additional service charges to make sure everything is working perfectly. Since everything but the door itself has been replaced, I can't imagine I will have further problems.

When he arrived, he explained what he was going to do. He answered all my questions regarding the services provided by the company. Performed the work with expertise.

Technician arrived, the spring was obvious as it was broken. Also had him replace the metal wheels for the main garage door as it is used several times/day. Technician was knowledgable, friendly, approachable, and represented the company well.

Rainier Garage Door staff was polite, quick to respond but price was excessive. They were able to resolve our issue in less than 48 hours of first contact however we sure paid for it. Everything along the way was billed top dollar for IE a $15 remote was billed at $45 EA that took all of 1min to program. We also decided since we had got this far into it to have them weight the door and size the springs correct. The installer had said we were only 1 size off which wouldn't be that big of a deal but since he already did it he would need to bill for it. We also asked for a second set of springs since the other door hasn't had its replaced and are the same age. We were billed $80 instead of $160 since they didn't install them. A local big box store has them normally for $40. During the spring replacement he also said that the wire was starting to separate and should be replaced at another $45. They also almost didn't install the "free wall key pad" quoted until asked as the installer was finishing up. The installer also suggested we look at replacing our doors since the rollers are not available anymore due to the age. Not even going to guess what they would charge for that. Angie's list discount was only applied to the opener itself and none of the accessories purchased with neither it nor any discount towards the service call side of work. Nice people but overall way overpriced. Also make sure to clean up after them I almost pulled my car back in before doing another sweep up and found some metal brackets that I?m sure would have punctured a tire on my car with how sharp they were.

Every added bit of work, as it was discovered, was charged out. We did not have him install 2nd garage door opener

it was great. the guy who came out was professional, friendly, punctual, and knowledgable. my garage doors are fairly new, but they seemed kind of loud to me when going up and down on the automatic chain thing. so when i saw the angies list deal of only $65 for garage door inspection i thought i'd give it a shot and see what they could do to fix or tell me about the issue. he checked everything from the door itself to the machine and chain pulling it. he said everything looked great. he tested the operation of the door with and without the machine and everything was fine, he said things just needed to be lubricated. he had a spray can of specific type of lubrication and sprayed the hinges on the door as well as the chain on the machine. the sound you hear when operating the door instantly improved.

Rainier Garage Door staff were prompt, courteous and knowledgeable; they had exceptional follow-up - confirming the appointment and correcting the invoicing done on site proactively. The pricing was better than the competitors with whom I checked, the scheduling was a breeze. Our tech went above and beyond in trying to trace a wiring "challenge" with our brand-new home.

This was a Big Deal, and it was worth every penny. From first contact to completion, the experience was a breeze. I was able to schedule the day I wanted without any problem. The technician arrived promptly, performed the service, and was gone. Opening and closing my garage door is so much quieter now! I appreciate the hard work and professionalism of all the Rainier staff.

We did our research and were planning to call on a Monday, but on a whim I decided to call on Sunday and leave a message. No message required, they were open!!! And not only open, but they had someone available right away. The nice lady answering the phone was helpful and confirmed we'd see someone shortly--Shelby was at our house and the problem was fixed within 30 minutes. I can't say enough good things about these folk--we will be seeing you again when we have to replace our garage door opener motor. Thank you!

Rainier Garage Door did the initial tune up on the previously working single panel lift up door in 2010. Early April 2011, the door was permanently damaged from a break-in. Rainier Garage Door responded quickly, provided several options, and installed the new door just a few days after the post break-in call. They were even able to quickly track down the odd sized door for the unusual opening size. I would very much recommend Rainier Garage Door based on my experience.

Overall they were very profesional and a pleasure to deal with.

My technician, Shelby, was on time and professional; quickly diagnosing that the garage door electric eye was not lining up because the bottom of the track was not adequately secured to the wall. He added brackets and fixed the problem.

This was an excellent service experience from Becky in the office to Danny onsite. Very knowledgable, very professional and nice folks. I would highly recommend Rainer Garage Door for anyone in the market for a new door, or maintenance on an existing door.

The garage door in our rental home wasn't working. Rainier Garage Door (Jason) worked with us and our renter for scheduling a time to estimate the problem and repair the unit. He replaced the door spring, bearing plates and motor drive (which had stripped gears due to bad bearings). He finished the work quickly and our renter was able to get back to work quickly.

If I could give them an A- or B+, I would. Very knowledgeable and professional. They were a couple hours late, but, called to forewarn me. They encountered a couple hurdles along the way but, conquered them easily.

The old door springs were broken so we could not open the doors and as a result they were very helpful in moving the installation date 2 weeks earlier than scheduled. The people in their showroom were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They offer as there standard a 45000 cycle torsion spring. Most of the competion offers a 12000 cycle spring. This is a top-notch company and I highly recommend them to anyone.

Visited showroom in Bellevue to select opener. Quoted prices were competitive. Scheduled installation appointment; serviceperson arrived a bit late, but had called ahead to clear it. (Do not recall his name.) Was highly professional, gave good explanations of issues related to installation, had good solutions to propose, with clear explanation of costs. Did work quickly and efficiently. My vehicle has option to encode remote signal for built-in opener, and he encoded it for me. Great experience.
