I am totally pleased with my new deck and the work that Pavel and his team did for us and I recommend their company to anyone. Construction One is competent and honest and as an added bonus they are courteous. They showed up on-time for the initial inspection. They provided a written estimate in three days like they said that they would. The estimate was easy to understand and matched the work that I wanted. Pavel?s team showed up to do the project on-time and completed the project on-time with no changes to the original estimate. They cleaned up their work area better than any other contractor that I have worked with. Pavil sent me a follow-up email and phone call to make sure I was 100% satisfied. I recommend Construction One without reservation.

Working with Pavel from Construction One has been amazing. He really has exceeded my expectations with his professionalism, communication, bidding, and fair pricing. Hands down, he has been the best general contractor that I have ever dealt with (and I deal with general contractors for work every day). If I ever have another project, he will be the first person I call, and who I would want to do the work. I felt very comfortable right away when I met Pavel. He is a very nice guy who cares a lot about your home and your project. I recognized that right away when I meet him. I could tell immediately I could work with him and get along with him easily. I was hoping that his pricing was going to be fair because I really wanted to work with him. And as it turned out, his pricing was fair...but more on that later on in this review. He is very trustworthy. I have had him in our home lots of time when we are not there, and he has been great. He closes up the house when he leaves, and he cleans up afterwards. He is just very responsible, and caring...it just shows in every bit of his work. What I have appreciated most about Construction One is how they work to keep you in the loop with the happening of the project. Often I am at work and I cannot always be at the house, but they are very good about using technology to let you know what is going on. I have gotten several picture texts to show findings, or finished repairs, and I have also gotten pictures of receipts for custom piece that needed to be made. And when they found a problem in our house due to poor construction from the original build of the house, he was sending me pictures of the issue so I can see it and he gave me a few options to fix the problem. The communication is always fast and in real time. He is so good about using his smart phone for you and for your project. You really do feel like you have a grasp of the daily happenings. (I had asked for him to keep me in the loop), and Pavel has no problem with it at all. He is so great about sending me information quickly and clearly. Pavel is really good about saying when he will be on site and being on time. He has been the best general contractor I have ever dealt with on his scheduling. His consistency is great. He and his crew work hard and quickly. I feel like they can get a lot of things done right the first time and done on time. I have so much faith in him. It has saved us a lot of time in our construction process and we can plan our subs ahead with total faith of the project being on schedule. We have not had a single delay with Pavel. His work is so reliable! Pavel really has accommodated our tight schedule during the remodel process as well. When I added another job to his scope, it was extremely time sensitive as it had to be done before the carpet was being installed. And yet again, he saw it was really important to me, he already had a full schedule, but he made some calls, and tried to see if he could shift a few things around so he could accommodate us, and he ended up being able to do so. He is so great! His prices are always very fair. In our original meeting, I was debating about adding more work to his scope, but it was dependent on price. He simply broke out the pricing for me so I could choose what I wanted to fit my budget. And he was quick on getting a quote back to me. I have never had a moment where I paid for a service and cringed or felt like I got duped. I have felt like working with Pavel has been a win-win. I get great work, incredible service and care, and wonderful communication, and in return I pay a very acceptable price. It is exactly what I had hoped for. I can?t stress enough how great Construction One has been. I would recommend Pavel to anyone. He is so easy to work with. Pavel really cares about your home and your project. He didn't ever object when I had him look at something outside of his scope of work, he was always happy and willing to spend the time to look at it for you and even guide you in your next decision. It made it really easy to work with him when he cares about your house and getting it done right.

Several contractors decided not to even bid on the job because it was too complex. Several I decided not to go with as they were too vague how the solution would look like and how it would be constructed. Pavel did a lot of measurements and I was confident that he will be able to do the job to our satisfaction. Pavel and his main carpenter George did an extremely well job. We started with building a balcony over the patio (~400sqft). Upon completion of that phase I was very impressed with the accuracy and the quality of the work that we decided to extend the balcony over the adjacent flat garage roof. We have also converted two sets of double windows into the two French doors for access to balcony and the trim inside/outside the doors looks great. Great accuracy and precision. The patio ceiling and supporting beams and columns are all nicely wrapped in trim wood and looking very solid/clean and blend into the overall house and feel. You would not know this was an addition to the house. It looks as if was build together The resulting balcony is now covering about the 700sq feet and is very elegant and straight. The trim/facial work was incredible - I have straight line of 50 ft (10 ft above the ground) that looks like it was always part of the house. It requires a very good craftsmanship and focus on detail to get this large and long surface straight and looking impeccable. George is a very gifted carpenter the man who did it and it just looks great. Overall - Pavel and his team take a pride in their work and I have never felt they were trying to cut the corner throughout this whole project. Everything was done with focus on quality. It was such a huge relief to work with contractors who are simply doing a great job and I as the owner did not have to constantly worry that without my supervision things will not be done properly. Painting team that works with Pavel also did very meticulous job in painting the patio ceiling and the trim boards such that it will definitely extend the lifetime of the structure. It is really hard to find someone who does such a great work and who can do the project of this size with that precision and quality. If you have a small or large project and you are worried about the quality - do yourself a favor and call PM Construction One.

I trusted their work and they were always on time, no surprises and no extra cost. Very flexible and understanding to my need.

After we accepted the estimate provided by the owner for our second story deck, Pavil, the owner, said he could do the work in two week. He actually came to do the work with his two workers in ten days. They completed the job in one day. They were all very professional and efficient and did excellent work. In addition to providing us with a beautiful deck, the little extra's they did made them an exceptional company. They arranged my plants on the deck so that they only had to be moved one time (to one side of the deck and back to their original place). They made pads from excess decking material on which to set my heavy metal plant table. They cleaned up all the debris from the old deck to the point of even using a magnet to retrieve the nails from the rocks on the ground beneath the new deck. If we need work done on our house in the future, we will definitely call Construction One.

Construction One did an excellent job on re-building my deck. The cedar planks on my deck needed to be replaced. Pavel came out do do the estimate and took the time to explain the process to re-build the deck given that from what we could see the existing pressure-treated joists seemed to be in good condition. He made an accurate sketch of the deck with all dimensions, which enabled him to provide an accurate estimate, as well as suggesting my wife and I go to Dunn lumber and select the replacement deck material and color so that he had the correct material cost in his estimate. I asked Pavel to add a bench to the design after having selecting Construction One to do the work, and he gave me a fair price for the change request to the original estimate. All of the work was all done with high quality and the work site swept up after work was completed. Pavel and his crew were very professional and cordial; I recommend them for any deck or remodel project you have in mind.

It went very well. There were three men who accomplished the task. When they were done it looked GREAT. I am very pleased. All I had to do is paint the new wood with the colors of the house & car port.

They were very professional and easy to work with. Our deck was falling apart and they were very fast and efficient in tearing it down and replacing our new deck. I'd definitely recommend them for future work and we love how our new deck looks! Thanks PM construction!!

upon contacting Pavel, he came over; drew pictures of the area after measuring; talked about what I wanted. He left and a couple of weeks later he called and came back to go over the estimate he had emailed earlier. Again we discussed what I wanted and he explained what he was going to do and when he could start. The day before Pavel and his crew started work he dropped off the insulation panels and took a can of old paint to match the color. Pavel and his crew showed up the next day at the specified time. They carefully laid out plastic on the floor and covered all the furniture that could not be moved. Two of the workers tore out lights that were mounted in the ceiling; the old drywall; spacer boards and nasty insulation. When they were done for the day they were meticulous in cleaning up. They dusted the counter top and vacuumed the floor. They uncovered all the furniture. The next day they returned and again covered up the floor and furniture. Outside they measured and cut the insulation panels; then drilled air holes for ventilation and covered with mesh wire. The panels were then installed and the drywall was screwed in place. There was an electrical issue with the old lights, Pavel called his electrician in and he found the problem. They uncovered the floor and furniture and again vacuumed. The next day Pavel came and did all the tape and mudding on the drywall. Something was wrong with the electricity in half the house. Pavel was able to locate the problem and fix it. Next day he came back and sanded and mudded again. Next day he sanded again and got the ceiling ready for painting. The next day the painters came in and painted after covering the floor and furniture. Pavel came back on Saturday night to put up the new molding to be ready for painting. The following day Pavel returned and put up all the lighting. I am very pleased with the work that was done; Pavel is very professional and courteous and the workers were all polite and informative. I would use Pavel again. He went above and beyond with the electrical problems.

Pavel and his team were a pleasure to work with. They were very professional and kept me informed every step of the process. Pavel was patient as I needed some extra time to decided what type of flooring to use. Also, he was very flexible as I didn't know which wall to put the outside door on. He never tried to rush me through the decisions and his knowledge was invaluable. The project came in on budget and on time. My mudroom looks fantastic!!!

Pavel arrived right on schedule and measured all the areas to be replaced and obtained the required materials at a very reasonable cost. Removed and replaced all the damaged areas with great attention to detail ensuring everything was caulked, sealed, painted and exactly matched the existing house structure. Pavel is extremely meticulous and takes great pride in his work. I found PM Construction One on Angie's list and Pavel lived up to the other reviews I had read. Very reasonably priced for the quality of workmanship. I would highly recommend Pavel/ PM Construction One and have some upcoming projects for him in the future

It went great. They spent a day fixing up my deck and planters in preparation for painting. They are courteous, punctual, honest, and hard working. It is clear that customer satisfaction is important to them, which made it a pleasure to work with them.

Pavel originally rebuilt a deck for me in 2004. Job was 1st class so when I needed a new deck in 2011 for my front porch, Pavel was who I called. Job was beautifully done and priced right. I needed new windows and could not find any of the big window replacement companies that would install them like new construction. Pavel installed day energy EFF windows the way I wanted it done and did a first class job. I could not be happier and highly recommend Construction One!
