Mr. Handyman of SE Bellevue

He told me to get a roofer. He also fixed a panel in my den at no charge! I recommend this company.

Steve was very professional. I felt comfortable with him being at our home for several days and me being able to come and go as needed. His communication was excellent, he always kept me apprised of what was done, what was left to be done, when he would be there and so forth. He managed his time well, often going to Home Depot before he even got to our house (I suspect not billing us for that time). He went out of his way to do a spectacular job. He was able to repair several things that I didn't even know were reparable, but always asked me beforehand if I wanted it done. So everything looked even better than I had hoped at the end of the job. He always did an excellent job of cleaning up the work area.

The work was basic and some tiles needed to be cut. The worker did a good job covering up and cleaning up the mess that was made from the fine dust particles. The issues were in the price of the work which was $947.74 only for the labor. I thought that was way to much to replace a sink. That's all that was done. The old sink was taken out and a new one was dropped in. The quality was so so and we had some issues with the dishwasher draining which was handled really quickly by Mr. Handyman who sent out another technician. Again everything was installed nicely just think time checks and a better estimate upfront would be needed for me to even consider using this company again.

See above. I'm not pleased with this set up. Seems there's at least three levels of labor here, perhaps/probably four. The owner, the scheduler, the Ops person, and the worker. Further, it's probably a franchise which means an added layer of cost. So I'll pass on this one. Wanted to express my attitude about my experience. The person I spoke with was courteous, but failed to satisfactorily answer my questions. And I'm not pleased that the person who seems to be reviewed is in fact the owner and not the person who did the work.

The walkway was a bit challenging, but Handyman followed up and did everything possible to make the new walkway work well accommodating a new generator and installing drainage for a tricky side yard.

I was told that there would be 2 techs out on the 17th, but when I spoke to them they told me that there was a hold on the job. After a lot of set backs, and problems with this company, they have told me that they will not do the work. This is after a couple of months of working with them to get this taken care of and quoted. I spent hours typing up the jobs that I needed done and what my expectations were, only for them to wait until the very last day to start to work on the estimate. This was their instruction for me. There have been too many discrepancies with what they have requested and how they have performed.

It went very well. I will be using him in the future and highly recommend him.

They were very professional and I would use them again in a heartbeat. The guy was courteous and he got right down to work. I was impressed. They were very responsive. The pricing was competitive. It was about the same as everyone else I called. Everything they did was very good.

There were multiple visits by Mr. Handyman, and two technicians - Steve Spohn and Emmett. Both were excellent. Prompt, reliable, and their work was fantastic. They informed me about the causes of the issues and fixed them even better than the builder - they will help my home sell! The work was pricey, but they honored the Angie's List discount with no questions asked. The administrative/scheduling staff was always available and very communicative. Even with kids and dogs running around my house, Steve and Emmett happily mixed in, gave pets to the dogs, and joined in the conversation from my 3-year-old about Legos. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

It was very good, they did it professionally and they were pretty quick. They came on time and some times very early and let me know what was to be done on the day and if there were any problems they let me know and found the solution.

Not very well. After spending much time deciding on which provider to hire, I chose Bellevue Handyman. I sent a picture of my chimney and details on what needed to be done. After Bellevue Handyman made me wait for 2 weeks to perform this job, they arrived on time and told me they wouldn't go on the roof because it was wet out. They could have told me this to start with and not made me wait until the rainy season started.

I decided not to hire this contractor.

Went well, no issues. I have used this company a lot this year for house repairs. This included replacing of a large rotted beam under the house to which our deck was attached. They have always been courteous, arrive when scheduled and cleanup at the end of the day.

After finding an area where water was leaking down the inside of a wall, we knew we needed to find someone to give a full inspection and figure out what the heck was going on. Mike from Mr. Handyman did a great job of figuring it out. Although he was almost an hour late due to not going to the right address (he was apologetic), he got right to work upon arrival. We originally thought there might be an issue with a gutter, but after inspecting and adjusting that, he realized the issue was actually with some flashing on the roof itself. He took pictures and explained it all to me, and applied a sealant to the area. He then went to the inside of the attic to see what the overall damage was. We were pleased to find out that no major issues were found. Although we will need to apply a little paint and replace some trim on the inside, we can sleep well at night knowing that our walls aren't full of mold or about ready to collapse. Overall Mike had a great attitude and was extremely positive to work with. We will call Mr. Handyman again in the future if we need skilled work done.

It was a good experience. my handyman-Kevin_ came back twice to get the correct texture. I really appreciate the match between the old and new texture.

Prompt and worked per our schedule. Completed steps of task and cleaned up daily. Efficient use of time. Minimized traffic. Planned and organized project according to schedule and tasks. Promptly took care of identified issues. Moved furniture carefully.

I contacted Mr. Handyman to get some help with a squeaking floor before a carpet install. The reason for calling was that I was in process of moving and didn't have tools required for any extensive work (e.g., removal/replacement of sub floor). I did have tools to add more fasteners, but thought the job would require work beyond that after inspecting it and putting in several screws which didn't remedy the issue. The tech came and was very competent but quickly determined the only thing he could do within the 2 hour service was put in additional screws, which he did. He was reluctant to remove/replace any of the subfloor out of concern it would take longer than 2 hours. This seemed a bit excessive, but I appreciate the fact that he didn't want to exceed the time given their high rate per hour. While installing additional screws was ok, it didn't alleviate the squeaking and was something I could have done myself. Since I was paying for 2 hours of time, I did find some other areas that he helped with and additional screws in those areas of the floor worked to eliminate squeaks there. The tech also recommended putting some gorilla glue in the joints, which I was surprised to find he didn't have on hand. This resulted in another trip to HD for me and additional work after he wrapped up. All in all, it was a very expensive way to partially address the issue. Not a real knock on Mr. Handyman, but a bit of a disappointment overall. My advice to others considering using Mr. Handyman is to make sure you really need them since the rate per hour is very high and will add up quickly. This is good for some situations, such as when you're in a pinch for time, but would research other alternatives thoroughly first as there are likely more cost effective approaches for any substantial work.

He's been good. He can do a lot of different things. When he came out to do one project, he could handle three or four other projects which was good. He was fine.

I needed someone to lay a bead of caulk down on the gap between the tile shower walls and the fiberglass bottom of a standing shower. I had done this several years ago myself but the caulk I used was peeling away and needed to be replaced. I had taken the old caulk out and cleaned the area thoroughly. The person from Mr. Handyman came out and laid down an industrial caulk which after 2 year seems to be holding up very well.

This work was completed satisfactorily. I would have preferred a more "elegant" fix of the lack of outlets in the laundry room but it is working . . . a bit crooked installation We also asked for a bid on another project. The field manager was supposed to help us with ideas and the cost of removing a bathtub and enlarging the shower in the master bath. Have had some vague contact over the past 6 weeks, nothing definitive. Have sought bids from other providers listed on Angie's List.

Very prompt, fast and good quality work

We ended up not hiring them because they were significantly more expensive than other bids we received and the bid took over a week to get (that was after I checked in with them to see when we'd receive the bid). I can't speak to the quality of their work, but basing this review only on their price and the delay in receiving an estimate. The one bright note is their service desk was responsive and it was easy to schedule the estimate appointment.

Services were not performed but walk through, and quote were delivered within a timely manner and the professional that I worked with was great!

We only used them for an experience and everything looks great. The result was good as well as the experience. The quality is there so I think that's about it. They did what I instructed them to do and they were professional.

Made appointment for installing the range hood which was done. Took the entire time allotted. Allowed me to go out and purchase the extra things needed (instead of having the handyman go out on the paid time). Vent hood works great. I don't remember exactly when this service was performed or what I paid ($50 off usual half day price).
