They do excellent work and are professional.

I found the co. to conduct itself very professionally in setting up an apointment, answering questions and arriving promptly. I think I would have felt more comfortable with an in person assessment and estimate (there appeared to be a slight reluctance with that aspect, though an email estimate was provided for this and another job), but overall I would use them again for multiple small jobs like this one.

Dick arrived a few minutes early and immediately started to measure. He looked at the three different items to be done and quickly set about work which included a trip to the store. Alll work was done in a morning and looks very nice. I have used Mr. Handyman off and on for about four years and will use them again.

This seemed like a straightforward job, and I even uploaded a YouTube video of it. From that point forward, from email traffic I received from various handymen at this company, I was known as the 'YouTube guy' and felt somewhat belittled. They had no clue how to help me. It's a shame because I had a good experience with this company the first time I tried them in which 'Terry' came out and did an exceptional carpentry repair job for me. Second experience they had recommended I hire a sub-contractor to do a chimney repair job - absolute miserable experience there (should have checked their recommended sub-contractor on Angie's first. Third and final experience was this garage floor job. Very unprofessional behavior from this company all around. I'm glad I went ahead and performed this job myself.

Excellent. They were easy to schedule. Becky was wonderful. I explained everything to her and she is the one who pointed out there was a current Angie's Big Deal in effect. I thought I had seen it but that it had expired. So I got that benefit. Brad came out at 8am so I could meet with him briefly, show him the stuff, and be on my way to work. I didn't recognize the driveway when I arrived home that night, it was so blasted clean! The separating gutter is now tight. Gutters clean. He evel cleaned the leaves off the front porch! He fixed my address letters and moved the stump to a more visible place than it was. The windows are clear again! And the deck is a different color. I hadn't realized how much dirt had settled on it in the 3 years since we bought the house. I sweep, but I guess a power blast every so often is a good thing. We plan to have them back when the weather is dry again to do a proper treatment and sealing of the deck.

I sent an e-mail with photos attached describing the damaged siding that needed repair. After no response for several days I called and they apologized for the delay, and asked me to re-send the information since they lost the original info due to a computer problem. Once the information finally made it to the right person, he sent me a very detailed estimate. The price was quite high, so I called to see if there was a less costly alternative. He was very helpful and honest. Since I detailed some of the repairs I had already done myself, he provided some additional tips, and suggested that the full repair job in the estimate was not necessary at this time. since they were only set up to do the major job, I decided not to use them, but would contact them again for a more large scale project.

He came on time and wore covers over shoes. He got idea of all the items needed to work on and started work immediately. He checked in with me each time he got something finished and told me the next thing he was going to do. I knew exactly where he was and what he was doing at all times.

Although I only spoke with an agent, she promised me that someone would return my call. I never received the call back. I don't have patience with contractors who don't even have the courtesy to return a call.

The work I was needing done was beyond their scope. The guy that came out was good and honest in telling me that I needed to talk to someone about siding instead of fixing a few spots. I requested a refund on the deal.

Bob Schmidt, the General Manager, came out initially to take a look at the siding/wood rot issue. Normally, they don't come out to give an estimate. Bob was very comfortable to talk with, was very knowledgeable and helpful, didn't pressure me at all, and made good use of the time to suggest other items, like a piece of linoleum that was chipping away and replacing old washer hoses . He also suggested things that I might be able to do myself on the kitchen counter area instead of having them do it. Vic did most of the work, and he was wonderful. He likes doing things well, and he thoroughly takes care of the issue at hand--not just enough to get the job done. He is the main reason I have done so many projects with this company--and will think of more next year! This handyman service is the best for those of us who can't or don't want to do these house projects. I wasn't happy with one fellow's work that Vic couldn't finish, and the company gladly sent Vic out to fix the issues at no additional cost. Nothing was left undone or half-done. I am very happy everything was done well, it looks great, and that we caught the ant problem before more damage was done. I wouldn't feel as confident with the siding work if it wasn't for Vic's thoroughness and wanting to do things right.

Tim was great, professional and did a high-quality job on all of the work above. I would defnitiely ask for Tim again.

Mr Handyman did not show up or contact us to make other arrangements and did not seem to be aware he had made an appointment. When we talked after another effort, he recommended we have custom caulk made up at a far higher cost than regular caulk available at a big box store. Subsequently, we found less expensive options.

He was very professional. We pointed out some things out to him that needed to be addressed again and he fixed them without arguement.

The service has been good. They were very responsive.

Mr. Handyman did a very thorough job with the siding damage. He started by going into the attic to check for bugs (there were none) and to make sure the woodpecker wasn't living in there, and since it wasn't, he reinforced the area from the inside with metal sheeting (in case the woodpecker returned someday). Then he did the siding work from the outside (on the third story of our house) using the materials we provided. He also installed our fake owl on the roof to deter future woodpecker visits. While he was up there, he proactively caulked around our chimney because the previous owners hadn't done this and he was concerned we might see damage from that eventually. We decided not to have him install the living room lighting fixture because he was concerned (and he was right) about asbestos in the popcorn ceiling. This experience with Mr. Handyman was outstanding - better than we had hoped for. He was on time (early, actually), very professional and knowledgeable, and efficient. We will definitely hire them again when we need help with projects.

The job went fine. They were fast and courteous. I would use them again.

We needed a section of interior and exterior wall, underlayment, & insullation replaced following a small electrical pannel fire. The fire department's work left an opening about the size of a french door set in our garage wall and about half that size in the bedroom wall just above it. The repair involved matching the new materials with the old in material type and dimension, and painting everything to match. Mr. Handyman's bid was quick, reasonable, and complete. They explained the process of dealing with insurance, the repair was scheduled in and completed well. Appearance is great, they cleaned up completely before leaving each day, and were nice to work with.

Asked for replacement of ill-working toilets. When toilet was removed, it was noted that there was old water damage to flooring from previous owner. Since replacing the flooring was not part of the original work order, the work took longer than originally expected. However, the job was done beautifully, and the tech was very well-knowledged in plumbing and carpentry. He even shopped for the main materials needed (for which we reimbursed). I only had to pick out the flooring I wanted, and he installed it. He was very professional and cleaned up the area well after work was completed.

At the bid estimate they informed me the wall damage repair cost would be separate from remodel project bid and would depend on what they found when they opened up wall. They found water and insect damage but the cost of complete new wall was less than estimated max cost ($2500) at $1200. They bid estimate $6000 for the remodel and it came to $6300 at completion (not including my estimate $1500 in time and materials I provided.)I was informed and consulted every step of the way and treated intelligently. Each situation and options were presented respectfully and I was reassured always at each decision point. This was the most remarkably wonderful experience and after spending 2 weeks with my Handymen, I felt they were family and would have them do any other job I need in the future. As a new widow of a great handyman husband, this was all new territory for me and these were the right folks to do the job! Perfection in every facet of their work and great respect for the home and its inhabitants. The original estimated time frame was a week but that did not include the days needed for the wall damage repair. The total money spent on bath remodel was $9000

They are very professional and well equipped. Brought their own ladders, saws, everything, but we supplied the materials (cedar siding and wood required. They are pretty speedy, and were honest that some soffits did not need to be replaced. Worked in the rain as well. It took them all day which was to be expected due to the size of our home and level of work required. Also gave us a 1 1/2 hours free (rate was $90 per hour) because they forgot to put our appointment in the book and come the first time we scheduled them. We called to confirm the day before the 2nd time, since there was not more time before our house gets painted.

He did the work and I don't have any dislikes. He was fine and I have no complaints. The pricing was a little high I thought.

My husband and former handy man died suddenly last august. I realized I could not call my nephew to do all these things I needed and so I had seen the Mr Handyman trucks and decided to call them Bob Shmidt the mgr. came right out and I liked himso much.Their philosophy of the importance of good long time employees and good client support amd top quality workand cleaniness and attention to detail. They proved to be beyond my expectations and way more. I will be using them for the rest of my life. For people aging in place these are the folks to go to first.

I would give him an A and I would call him back. I am about to do it!

The tech Brian showed up early, which would probably be great for most people, but I was just heading out to take my daughter to school, but he knew he was early so agreed to come back in an hour at our scheduled time.The pocket door he inspected and determined that it was not repairable without taking off all of the moulding around the door, so I decided not to proceed with that. He hung my curtain rod (simple thing, but I alway screw up the holes) with ease. The cabinet doors he was able to repair but explained to me why it would keep happening and that at some point the hinges would need to be run hung altogether, which was good to know so I can sell before that happens! The biggest chore was whole in my laundry room from the door repeatedly banging into it. He was kind enough to provide me a new door stop as we'll, and the patch work looks great, it was a much bigger job than I envisioned. But you can't even tell there was a hole there.Because he cut out the hole and patched it with a new board, there was a lot of dust, and I wish I had known so I could put a towel over my washer and drying and all the things on top of them (shoes etc...) But all in all I was very pleased. I even was surprised in the cost, I guess I assumed the bill multiplying by the minute, but I think the cost was well worth the work.
