Lowe's of Bellevue WA

Description of Work: I bought three Moen bathroom faucets for my home and had them installed aproximately two months ago. A few weeks ago the handle on one of them fell off. I had a plumber here doing work and I showed him the faucet, he had me call moen to get a replacement screw so he could fix it. They sent one out and when he was here again we tried to remove the screw but it was stripped and wouldn't come out. I took the handle into Lowes today and the "plumbingman" in the blue jacket said that with out the receipt he could do nothing. I informed him that I was an excellent customer, having done a kitchen remodel and purchasing appliances at the same time. He was about to loose me as a customer due to one stupid screw. He could have taken a handle from a good unit and sent mine back to the manufacturer. Instead he said the installer over tightened the screw during installation. GARBAGE! It is a complete assembly and to install a faucet, you tighten the screws under it, not inside the plug of the handle. I asked to see the manager and someone from the office came out and tried to help. She spent half an hour trying to find the part number on their website while a co-worker tried to tap out the screw which didn't work. I had an appointment and had to leave. When I got home, I called Moen back and she immediately is shipping me a new handle. What a lousy way to handle a simple problem. Obviously they do not stand behind their products. You will find me at Home Depot or Ace.
