It went very well. It was very nice. There were no additional charges. He said that it would need to be retuned in a couple of months because they don't get tunes regularly. He was here for an hour. It seems fine. I think it was a fair price.

I received an email confirming the appointment, a phone call the day before to make sure we were still set, and then Josh called on his way. Josh was great - he even removed his shoes when he walked in without me asking (much appreciated). It took about 45 minutes and he answered all my questions before leaving. I'll be having him back in the future to keep this piano in great condition moving forward. Highly recommend this company for any need!

Josh was very friendly and professional. He seemed knowledgeable and eager to do the job well. Because our piano had been out of tune for so long, he recommended more frequent tuning for the next year or two before we ease into an annual schedule. The piano sounds much better, and I trusted his opinion and work enough to schedule another appointment.

The tuner was prompt and professional, definitely knew the ins and outs of pianos, and he answered all my questions thoroughly.

Josh did a great job. He explained everything and we already have him scheduled to come for our next tune up.

The company contacted me after purchasing the Angie's list deal for tuning. Very polite and friendly receptionist booked a time for me and the technician Josh came to us. He called me before the arrival to ask me if he could come earlier, which was perfect for us. He started to work right away after answering some questions we had. He recommended a follow up tuning in a month or so (as our piano had not been tuned for many years). Since we were so happy how the piano sounds now and this company's professionalism, we scheduled the follow up tuning in January.

The piano tuning went without a hitch and I would probably use them again.

The provider called right before the appointment and said he would be late. And then, It was only minutes, so I thought it was very thoughtful . As he tuned my piano, I could hear that it was to pitch and therefore I was thoroughly satisfied with the result. Very good experience.

I called Artisan Piano and arranged for tuning. Shortly after it I got email about the service time and who would come. The day before I got email reminder. And the technician (Josh) came on expected time, and tuned our piano for about 1 hour and 1 half. And the sound is very good after the tuning. No problem found. I also get email following up on the quality of the tuning. Josh told me our piano has not been tuned for a while and said the strings were very slack so he adjusted a lot, and suggested to have a follow up tuning for another half a year and then followed up with yearly tuning. I totally agree. We have not tune our piano for three years. We used to have a friend tune our piano and having a friend to do your service work is a hassle. And especially if there is an issue with the tone and ask a friend to come over to correct issues are even more a problem. Artisan piano provide a hassle free service with a very reasonable price. I guess we will keep up with the tuning schedule.

I appreciated the tuning done for my piano by Artisan. The tuner got it sounding much better, and took the time to explain other issues with the piano and what additional work would be needed to fix problems (like the felt on some of the hammers being worn and grooved). I would use them again.

I recently made an appointment through Artisan Piano Services to have the keys on my piano adjusted by softening the action, which were a little "hard" to begin with. Setting up the initial appointment was very easy, as the woman who answered the phone was very organized and experienced. The company website also has the option to schedule an appointment online. I later received an e-mail confirmation for my appointment date and time, and also a confirmation call from the technician on the day of my appointment. The local technician for Artisan Piano Services, Josh, was prompt and spent about two hours on my piano. I am very pleased with the results, and now that the keys have been adjusted, my piano is much easier to play. I will definitely recommend this company to my friends, and their fees are very reasonable as well.

I have a piano that hadn't been tuned in close to 20 years. I was afraid that I'd waited too long and it might not be able to be tuned. Well Artisan Piano Services did a terrific job, and it now sounds amazing! The technician was prompt and very professional. I was able to watch the entire process and he was so thorough. I will definitely have them back on a regular basis and recommend them most highly.

Easy to make an appointment and had no problems finding a convenient time. Office staff very courteous. Confirmed appointment and was at my home on time. Tuned piano perfectly. Have used this service before and will continue to use. Very professional, would recommend to all.

Artisan Piano Services did an excellent job tuning our piano. They were prompt, professional, and reasonably priced. The technician did a great job and he even had to put up with our cat, who wanted to "help." We would highly recommend them for any required piano service.

Technician (Josh Mayfield) was professional, personable and punctual. Easy and quick to schedule an appointment (critical when you are eager to play an instrument that is terribly out of tune)--he was working on the piano 2 days after my call! It had not been turned or played in many years so Josh had his work cut out for him--the sound it made before he started would make even a non-musician cringe. He spent nearly 2 hours working and when he was done it sounded once again like a piano. Although quite old and no longer being made (a Weaver piano), he was familiar with it, knew all of its quirks and readily prepared it for tuning. He handled the piano with great care and even vacuumed all the dusty bits before putting it back together.
