My piano had not be tuned for many years and had been moved and covered during a wallpaper removal and painting of the room it was located in several years ago. Josh called to let me know he was on his way, arrived on time, took off his shoes after entering the house, and got to work immediately, letting me know it would take approximately 45 minutes. He vacuumed the piano before tuning and informed me that I could choose to have the piano deep cleaned for $250 if desired but it was recommended to be done before tuning. He tuned the piano and played a lovely piece he had composed to test the piano sound when done. I paid with a credit card after he wrote out the invoice, giving me credit for the $50 discount coupon on the Angie's List website. All in all, a very pleasant and satisfactory experience!

Piano tuner, Josh, was very prompt and did a very nice tuning. Also did a small adjustment to the damper pedal. Later when the pedal needed a very slight readjustment came back the next day and tweaked the problem. Definitely will have Artisan and Josh take care of this piano in the future.

Tuner was prompt and very courteous. I haven't played the piano . . . yet . . . so cannot evaluate the quality of the job. It sounded good from upstairs while he was doing it.

Before the appointment I got a confirmation email that included a picture of the person coming (great idea!). Then got a reminder phone call. Piano tuner (Josh) arrived on time and went right to work. He said it would take about 45 minutes and it did. Piano sounds great.

It went very well. He took about an hour and the piano has never sounded better.

The provider came out to tune my piano, but it turned out that my piano was too old and he was unable to tune it for me. I appreciated his honesty and he didn't charge me for coming out. The provider was very, very professional and I would recommend him to anyone.

Their office staff is professional and friendly. My schedule is hectic and they were very accommodating. The tech, Josh was very professional in his phone conversations. When he arrived (almost to the minute for our appointment), he let us know what our options were for the service and proceeded to clean the interior of our piano. Our piano has been in the family for over a hundred years and I was not expecting much out of it. He found the broken part and gave us a quote for returning to install it. When he finished the cleaning and tuning, he played a short piece on it. I'd never heard the piano sound so good. We had seriously thought that one day we would replace it, but he explained that this was a very good piano. Since it is a family heirloom and it sounds amazing, I think we'll keep it. I would recommend their service to anyone with a piano.

I am very pleased with how the piano sounds! Artisan Piano Services was very professional and superb to deal with. Josh called to say he was running a little late for our appointment but would be here within a half hour. The tuning took about 1.5 hours. He recommended that because of the age of our piano that we have the action fixed in Artisan's shop. I will schedule that soon. I will also have Artisan tune our piano in the future as long as they honor their coupon on Angie's List.

My piano had not been tuned since 1986. It was moved from Pennsylvania to Seattle in 2007. My daughter started playing on it in 2012. Finally, I got around to having it tuned in 2014. I was worried that the tuning would cost much more, because there would be all kinds of things wrong with it. But Josh was very helpful, understanding, and efficient. He tuned the whole thing for the regular rate, and just recommended a follow-up tuning several months later (which other piano tuners had also recommended). He let us watch, and explained the insides of the piano to the kids. Super nice guy.

The service was great. They were professional and knew what they were talking about. When they found more problems they were informative and not pushy.
