Jeff was on time and very knowledgeable as a chimney repair contractor. He took time to answer y questions and then got right to cleaning and repairing the crack/hole in the firebox.

Jeff did all three of the chimney cleaning I requested. Everyone in the homes were very pleased. They cleaned up after themselves. I will use them again.

He could have charged me for a full sweep but only found cobwebs so charged me less.

They charged over 200 for a chimney sweep and then proceeded to use scare tactics like ?your house and everyone in it will burn? if you use your fireplace as is. And then of course recommended that we have a ton of work done for THOUSANDS of dollars. Nope. We hired someone else for a few repairs and they said the chimney hadn?t been cleaned. So we paid Ace over 200 for absolutely nothing. They are salesmen who use scare tactics and not what you hire them for. Don?t hire them.

Ace was very professional. They inspected my chimney and installed a cap to prevent any further bird nests. I was very satisfied with their work and appreciated their promptness.

Was pleasant and fast. Charged us $45 for an "inspection" which took 5 minutes; his helper saw the cement cap on the chimney we didn't know was there. An inspection was quoted ahead but we question the ethics of a full charge. Also left the chimney box dirty enough to make us have to use our shop vac to finish the job even though we asked if he vaccumed the box as part of the job. It would have taken him less than 10 minutes to finish cleaning it.

He left no residue on my off white carpet!

The service provided by these folks was of fair to poor quality. There was little communication about what was going to occur and no discussion about the stove, chimney and cap beforehand, they just started in...doing I'm not quite sure what, inspecting and cleaning a bit, I suppose. After 15-20 minutes I returned and noticed they had somehow knocked the interior chimney pipe flange at the ceiling loose (see picture), but hadn't noticed what they'd done. I pointed this out to them and they said...nothing, nor did they make any offer to deal with it, help with it, nor subtract a bit off their fee for the time and effort I'll now need to spend setting it to right. Finally, after an awkward silence, I said that I would deal with it, and asked them what have you done or found with my chimney. They had very little to say; no recap or summary, no assessment of the system and what shape it was in, no real notification of any issues or concerns--basically, nothing that would help me understand what had just happened or in what shape the stove, pipe or cap were in at that point. Again, perhaps my mistake for not explicitly asking if they would "tell me what they found", but come on. Also, finally, there was a pile of ash at the bottom of our wood-stove, some--presumably--of what they had knocked off when Ace cleaned the pipe, plus some leftovers from our last fire. They then refused to sweep this pile up, saying the ash would clog their filter "like Mt St. Helens ash"! Wait--what did I just pay you folks $135 for exactly?!? I would recommend avoiding these folks and, after more thorough research, picking another service for your chimney sweeping needs!

They not only cleaned fireplace and woodstove chimney but fixed holes in fireplace and pointed out bad and missing bricks in woodstove. Very happy with how thorough they were and they kept it clean.
