Issues - 1. Time changed at company request from Friday the 23rd to Monday the 26th. Kept getting reminders for original date/time. Very difficult to understand the representatives. 2. Tech showed up an hour early on Monday. Arrived at 1, scheduled for 2. Had to drop what I was doing and return to my home. 3. Total cost increased from $174 to $1053. Charged for 1,045 ft2. My generous measurements tallied 516 ft2 if carpet cleaned. I was pretty certain that I would have more square footage to clean than the allotted 250 and expected the price to go up. What I didn't expect was the price to increase by 5x and when I did a simple measurement of the actual carpet cleaned, it was off by almost 50%. Carpet looks no better than if we had done it ourselves. Could never, ever recommend Angi, Angi Services, or the specific contractor to anyone in good conscious. I feel like I was completely taken advantage of. My wife and I spent a grand to have our carpet done and it looks no better than if we had used a rental machine from the store down the road.
