+ 0 moreIt went very well. Showed up same day I called. Listened to our concerns. Worked fast digging up a pretty good sized hole. Got the job done very efficiently. As far as we can tell he did a great job. I was told it would be approx. 200 over the phone. The charge was 200.00. We are so thankful we thought to call them and did not pay the plumber 4200.
Description of Work: We discovered our basement bathroom and hallway had flooded the night before thanksgiving. We thought it must be our sewer vault. They came out right away and verified the pump was working. We called a plumber who used a camera and found a clog in the main water line. He punched through but said something did not look right and showed us outside where the camera was showing where the problem was. It had to do with the sewer lines meeting up outside the house. The ground had shifted and the pipes were no longer aligned. My husband discovered this by digging a hole to the pipe. The plumber gave us an estimate of 4200.00 for a fix. the following Mon. E and D came out the day I called them and only charged us 200. to fix the problem. The young man doing the job was extremely polite and very friendly. We use them when our vault alarm goes off as well and they always stop by the day of our call and get things fixed up.

Description of Work: Diagnosed an intermittent alarm issue. First thought was that it was the relay so that was replaced but problem persisted. Next a float was found to be shorting out. Replaced it however the pump would not engage in "auto" mode. After consultation with the boss he determined that a second float was also beginning to fail and replace that. It's all good. I think this was a tougher problem than usual because the problem was intermittent and I appreciate the team effort to get this fixed.

+ -1 moreLuckily they had a guy just a few mile away so they were able to get to us the same day. Went through the entire system and everything checked out. Turns out we had overloaded the system with several loads of laundry, showers, and dishwasher after returning from a camping trip. Bad timing on our part as we are on a timed dose and managed to dump too much in too short of a time period. The good news is we are better educated about our system and know that everything functions as it should.
Description of Work: We had an alarm go off and were not sure what caused it so we called E&D to come a figure it out.

+ -1 moreThey did a good job and filed the report with county all for under $400, which included an inspection, ordering some new wires and switch, which had been cut, coming back to install the new part, and filing the county septic inspection report. No pumping was needed. Nice work in about a 2 week time period waiting for part.

Description of Work: I needed a site cleared to build a new shop. Earl showed up with his excavator and dump truck, cleared the area, hauled away the dirt and laser leveled the site. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

+ -1 moreThe pump on my septic system failed and we had an overflowing septic tank. Ron and crew arrived the next morning, pumped the tank, replaced the pump and corrected the wiring on the tank alarm. There was no doubt that they knew exactly what they were doing and they did it quickly. They cleaned up when the repairs were complete and took any contaminated parts away with them. Total professionals!

+ 0 moreJob was scheduled 2 weeks in advance. Earl's guys showed up on time and went right to work. Project was completed in 1 full day. David was an excellent equipment operator and did good work. These guys had the equipment and knowledge to do the job right. Earl was fair with me on his pricing. I would recommend / hire them again.
Description of Work: They removed existing vegetation in storage yard / parking lot area, re-graded, and laid new gravel. Also installed drainage system for building gutter / downspout water discharge.
