Mark was on time each day he did the work and was here when he said he would be. He extended all the rafters in our attic space by 3 inches so that an additional layer of insulation could be installed to increase the R-value of this 400 sf space. Mark was subcontracting the insulation out, but the contractor fell through. Mark did the insulation himself in order to keep the time frame he had quoted. The most important aspect of the job was that it was done according to regulations as we had to pass town inspection on the work and insulation because we were having it defined as livable finished space, and his work passed with flying colors. While he was here, he also did some additional work for us which involved cutting the laminate flooring in the kitchen around all the cabinetry so we could replace it. Mark was professional, did the work he had quoted, and stuck to the estimate we were given. We will definitely call Mark in the future if we are need of his services.

In all experiences, everything went well. For the bathroom, he redid the entire room while we were on vacation through one of the hottest July's on record. From approx. 2007 to today, Mark has redone all of our house. If only he did landscaping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Except for some gluing issues with the flooring, everything went well. Mark has so much patience in the face of things not going as planned and we really appreciated his persistence in finishing the job on-time.

Mark didn't actually do any work, but we had an excellent experience with him.

We have a very large, open shower that has had a leak for an extended period. When we ripped up the tiling we exposed rotted floors and supports. The whole pan needed to be pulled and replaced. Mark provided excellent direction regarding how to properly prepare the space for a new shower. He gave us excellent information on current options and materials available. I was able to repair the floor on my own, but when I was ready to put in the new shower bed, Mark was readily available to assist both physically and as an overseer of job quality. Once he had brought me back into my comfort zone, Mark was more than happy to let me finish the job on my own, yet he was still willing to act as advisor when I would hit a sticky spot.

We are THRILLED with Mark's work and highly recommend him. When it comes to remodeling, you simply cannot do better than Mark Judge. We plan to use him for any/all future projects. SKILL: Mark is incredibly skilled and did beautiful work on our home doing a range of projects. He has practical and creative ideas and a keen eye for aesthetics. He does not do sloppy work - he clearly takes pride in doing things well. He will put a lot of thought into whatever project you present him with. RELIABILITY: Mark is incredibly reliable and honest. He is a solid, trustworthy, respectful guy who takes pride in his work. We did "time and materials" as we had heard great things about him, and this worked in our favor. He is absolutely trustworthy. BUDGET FRIENDLY: Mark always presented various options to help us save money. Since we went "time and materials" he also updated us on the budget each week and presented an invoice at the close of each week with diligently tracked expenses. He is very organized and will absolutely work with you to stay within your budget. He came under budget for us so we were able to do more than we initially anticipated! MANAGING PEOPLE: Whether it's the plumber, electrician, hardwood guy, etc, Mark is excellent at managing people. I recommend that if you work with him, you go with the people he recommends, as he has a good sense of people and knows how to manage them well. He takes full responsibility for the work of the people he selects, and this makes the whole process go a lot more smoothly. ON A PERSONAL LEVEL: Mark is a pleasant, friendly person who is a pleasure to work with and have in your home. When we were in the final days of remodeling before moving into the house, he even coordinated a babysitter to watch our 8-month old so that we could spend the day working! Then once we moved in, if the baby was taking a nap he would even work quietly so as not to wake him. You can't ask for more from a contractor, or a friend!

Overall I would say I had a great experience working with Mark and will refer him in the future.

Mark has actually done a couple of projects for me -- the fence installation was just the most recent. He gives quick and accurate estimates, got me scheduled in the time frame I needed, worked quickly and hard, and did great work. I found him down to earth, honest, practical and a pleasure to work with. In a couple of situations he described the different options, which would cost less, how it would look when finished, and let me choose which option I wanted to go with. I've recommended him to a couple of friends and will call him again as soon as I'm ready for my next project.

Mark the company person was amazing; he kept me under my budget. He did work meticulously and efficiently managed all sub contractors. At the end of the day the work was better than expected.
