Description of Work: Correct a water leakage problem in the basement when it rained.

Description of Work: Sam Draper, the gentleman doing the estimate was very knowledgeable and thorough as he developed a solution to the foundation leak problem. His crew arrived on time (actually a little early) and were very efficient. They minimized the mess from having to jackhammer the floor up, haul it out of the house, lay their pipe with gravel, and then concrete it in. They cleaned everything up inside and out. I was impressed with the professionalism of both men who did the work.

Description of Work: REplaced existing marine battery to secondary system

Description of Work: Received estimate for crawlspace encapsulation and mold remediation. Rain water enters the crawlspace through the foundation, which needs to be dug up from the outside, parged, sealed, and a French drain installed. B-dry's solution did not include these repairs and using their proposal of encapsulating the crawlspace would simply mask the problem of rainwater entering thru holes in the foundation wall. I did not think this was an acceptable solution and B-Dry did not offer another remedy. |

Description of Work: I've used B-Dry in 3 basements. It is well worth the money to know that the basements are water-proofed for life! Brian Sommer is great to work with!

Description of Work: Put a perimeter drain around walls of basement to stop seepage of water. There were a couple small blips but each was fixed promptly. We are very happy with the finished product and would definitely recommend -- and in fact have already done so.

Description of Work: B-Dry waterproofed my basement, replaced my rotting wooden stairs, put up walls in the basement, added a sump pump with a back up pump, treated and covered crawl space areas and installed an air filtration system called Canyon Blue. There has not been a single drop of water in the basement since the installation was complete, and I now am able to use the area for storage, which is in short supply in a 1940 Cape Cod style home. The crew was extremely polite and professional and the work was accomplished in a remarkably short time. I rate this company A+, as they even honored a quote that I had been given in 2013. That's what I call customer service!

Description of Work: Sales representative that came out to give estimate was very professional and very thorough. Had the impression from that meeting that work would be performed in the same manner. However, that was not the case. What was to be a two day job ended up taking 6 days due to a multitude of issues. First day during excavation next to the house they uncovered an old patch on our sewer line and dislodged it leaving a 4" hole in the top of the sewer line in the yard. They left at the end of the day without saying a word to my wife of the problem. It was only after I came home from work and inspected what they had done that day, did I discover the problem. I had to call in a plumber to repair the damaged pipe before they could continue. Since they told no one of the problem before leaving, I can only assume that they would have come back the next day and covered up the problem hoping that it wouldn't be discovered. I also had to call and question what was being done because the work being done didn't match what we had agreed to with the sales rep.Second day after the plumber repaired the sewer pipe work began again. This time as they were digging a trench along our garage the backhoe operator tore up the gutter and downspout on the garage. Again they left that afternoon without saying a word about the damage and I found it after I came home from work. I called and they sent out someone to repair the gutters the next day the workers came back. Of the remaining 4 days, one was a no show, one there was only one person on the job, one day they were late because of getting lost, they ended up finishing the job on a Sunday.

Description of Work: A section of the the basement floor perimeter (approximately 2' wide) was removed down to the ground leaving a graded trench into which Free-Flo Pipe is installed. Weep holes were bored to collect water from walls and channel it into the drainage system. The drainage system is graded to run into a sump pit and be pumped out of the basement. The trench was partially filled in with gravel. The section of floor which had been removed was re-poured. "Rigid Sealer" was used to cover the walls and capture any leaks in the walls and direct it into the Free-Flo system. A sump pump with dual backup was installed. A fan and vent pipe to remove odors and radon was installed.

Description of Work: I called B-Dry and to get an estimate to waterproof part of my Basement. I met with the representative from B-Dry and we discussed my problem in detail. But I didn't not get B-Dry to do any work. These are the reasons why: 1. The representative said some really negative things about other waterproofing companies in the area - even mentioning specific names of those companies. This really bothered me, as I believe that a company should stand on the merits of their own work, instead of tearing down other companies. 2. The cost was really high, over 4,000 dollars, to fix small area of the basement. Also the procedure, although it seems pretty intelligent from an engineering standpoint and would probably fix the problem, just seemed to be way too invasive and expense to fix the small part of my basement that had a water issue. 3. I felt like a lot of time was spent trying to "up sell" to me to buy the Blue Canyon foundation ventilation system they sell to handle radon, humidity and other problems. I didn't "care" about this - all I wanted was to address the leaking in part of my basement.

Description of Work: I used B-Dry Waterproofing in 2008 to waterproof our basement.

Description of Work: Basement waterproofing. This entailed removing a 22 foot section of the floor (part concrete, part tile), removing four feet of the wall and moving the toilet and sink, digging and grading a trench, adding weepholes to the wall, adding a one foot sealer to the wall, installing a drainage pipe in the trench, sealing the floor, digging outside through the driveway and about 20 feet of the front yard for the gravity pipe for discharge. I also had the company do the work after the waterproofing was completed to install a new tile floor, reinstall the toilet and sink, and install dry wall and paint. There was added cost (about $800) for the prep work and the work after waterproofing.

Description of Work: B-Dry installed their waterproofing system in the crawlspace of my house. Our termite inspector told us that we had standing water in the low places in our crawlspace and it had caused mold to grown on the floor joists. Mold attracts camel back crickets which eat the mold and the affected wood underneath. B-Dry dug a trench just inside the entire foundation wall. This, in itself, was a feat since the crawlspace was between two and three feet high and meant the workers had to dig with hand tools while on their knees. In the trench, they put a layer of gravel, then a very smooth perforated pipe which is made especially for them. At the lowest point they dig a deeper hole and install a tank in which the pipes empty as ground water level rises. In the tank is a sump pump which automatically cuts on when water begins to fill the tank. The water is then pumped into the waste pipe and taken away into the county septic system.
