Description of Work: We purchased one of the Angie's List deals to have the house powerwashed, including the gutters. I was particularly anxious to have the gutters powerwashed because we have gutter covers and there were things from the trees hanging off of the gutters from last year. The house looked much cleaner, but it was still pollen season, so I don't think May is the best time for powerwashing.

Description of Work: Kangaroo did an absolutely exceptional job cleaning my old basement carpeting. Prior to getting the carpet cleaned, I was determined that I'd have to get the carpet replaced to remove the old stains and just worn look of the carpet. After the cleaning, my carpet looks brand new. WOW! I'd highly recommend them to others (and I have)!

Description of Work: They did a GREAT job on the siding--and we have a lot of it and some of it is difficult to reach, but unfortunately they accidentally destroyed/badly lacerated one of our 2nd-story bedroom-window screens with the high-pressure water stream; there was also some minor damage done to a couple of other screens. Unfortunately, we did not notice the damage until about 30 - 45 minutes after they left when my wife noticed it from INSIDE the house and called it to my attention. I took digital pictures of the damage and immediately called the owner but he didn't make any offer to come back out and resolve the issue--perhaps because they were already well on their way home because it was getting late and the weather had been pretty crappy while they were working here (light rain was falling almost continuously)? In retrospect, I should have checked all of the windows and screens for damage BEFORE signing off on the job. Giving the owner the benefit of the doubt, I would like to think he would have made me some sort of repair offer had we brought the issue to his attention PRIOR to his departure (I have subsequently repaired the screens myself at minimal dollar cost but it took me a while to get them satisfactorily re-screened since it's been years since I attempted that sort of DIY repair). | |Other than the screen damage I was/am very pleased with the work they performed, and yes, I would use them again in the future and I would recommend them to others. | |Caution to everyone--check your screens before the provider leaves. The ones we had damaged were on a side of the house partially obscured by tree limbs and the damage was not readily apparent from ground level unless you were standing on a ladder. The provider stood on a ladder to do the work, so it's possible he didn't have a good view of the window and screens either, so "lesson learned" for all of us!
