Jeff Holman and a helper called to say they were on their way and arrived about 15 minutes earlier than scheduled! My house has mostly steps (15) two landings, and only one large living room that is carpeted. The living room carpet was badly stained in areas from our two cats and a husband.who eats and drinks while sitting at our sofa and manages to get lots of "spots" on that carpet. The backs of the steps (all 15) were marked with dark spots from our shoes. We were told by previous carpet cleaners that those spots could be lightened, but not removed. We had always used ChemDry prior to taking advantage of Angie's Special Deal (Kangaroo Carpet). In no time at all, Jeff Holman and his helper were able to totally remove those unsightly dark spots. I was planning to eventually buy new carpet for the stairway. I definitely plan to use Kangaroo Carpet Cleaning Services again in approx. 6 months. Before Jeff left, he gave us two pair of "booties" to wear while the carpet is drying.

I am pleased with the job, and I plan to have the rest of my home steam cleaned in the Fall. I would definitely recommend Jeff and team.

This was the best experience I have had to date in Fairfax County with any company. They were courteous, arrived on time, performed the job that they said they would and in addition, they cleaned extra areas at no cost. The owner actually performed the labor. The chemicals that were used on the carpet were "green" and the carpet looks like it is almost new. They made sure that we were happy with the job before they packed up and left. It was an amazing experience and we will definitely use this company again..

Scheduling was quick and easy. Two men showed up to do the work. They were about 15 minutes early. They were quick and professional. When they left the carpet looked amazing. I thought they had performed miracles on the spots. However, the next morning when it was fully dry I could still see about 1/3 of the original spots. They were faded some, but definitely still there. Even still, my carpets are definitely cleaner and I would use them again even if they can't perform miracles.

I called to schedule an appointment on a Wednesday & called to book an appointment immediately thereafter. They were able to schedule the cleaning for my preferred date & time on that upcoming Saturday. They arrived early, which was a pleasant surprise. The owner, Jeff, walked through my place with me and took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel very comfortable about my concerns with pet stains resulting from our 7-month-old puppy. They showed me how much dirt & hair their machine was pulling out. Our carpets look like new. They even discovered a stain in the living room that wasn't readily visible but initial cleaning raised to the surface; their work got both the stain and the smell out. The entire job took less then three hours. Jeff even called back the next day to make sure that none of the trouble spots came back through after the carpet was thoroughly dried which none had and even the high traffic areas looked great! Exceptional service and quality and I will definitely use them again. If only all contractors were this responsive, friendly, and professional - easily one of the best contractors I've ever used!

The owner, Jeff, walked through my place with me and took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel very comfortable about my concerns with the upholstery and tile/grout cleaning. They began working and had me look at the trouble spots I had pointed out and the grout cleaning to make sure I was happy before they proceeded to the next area. The tile/grout is original to the condo and is probably 30 years old. It looks like a new floor and the couch/club chair have never been cleaned and they look brand new! They even discovered a paint spill behind my couch and was able to get it off the carpet and there were no extra charges. I submitted an online request form on Friday afternoon and Jeff called me Saturday morning. I described the townhouse, which is a rental property with pretty old carpets, to him and he quoted me a price and set up an appointment for the following Tuesday. Jeff and his employee arrived 15 minutes early, which was great. They did a great job with the carpets and even applied extra spot remover to paint and wax spots all for the price he quoted me on the phone. They got out a number of paint spots that I thought were permanent. The result of the cleaning was better than I expected especially considering the condition of the carpets. Overall a great experience!

On the day of the appointment they arrived on time. Upon arrival the owner introduced himself, came inside the house and explained their process, we then discussed a few areas that needed extra work. During this time his employee was busy setting up equipment. They started in the basement, moved to the 1st floor, and finished on the 2nd floor, doing the stairs along the way. Total time approx 41/2 hrs from start to finish. Carpets looked like new when they were done. Overall, we were very pleased with the service which was about 1/2 the cost of 2 other estimates I received and was exactly the amount I was quoted on the phone. Will definitely use them again. One note....the owner explained that they are changing their name to Roto Steamer, but the ph# will stay the same.
