We just moved into a three level townhome with a lot of white berber. There were stains that I had some faith would come out with a good cleaning and there were stains that I had no faith would come out. Jeff and his team member got ALL of them out! They were a pleasure to be around, asked me if I was satisfied with every room before moving onto the next, and the price was unbeatable. My husband and I moved the pieces of furniture ourselves that we wanted cleaned under (as we should) and Jeff made sure the rooms that we hadn't cleared were OK to clean AROUND the furniture. The smell of the cleaner was a pleasant citrus smell that did not overwhelm the house. The carpets were completely dry after about 72 hours (took longer for areas that needed extra treatment). The staircases got their life back and are as plush as berber can be! They worked quickly but thoroughly and I will definitely hire them again and recommend them to others!

They did a good job for the most part. Very professional, prompt, and got all the stains out. The carpets were well cleaned. My only disappointment is that I had to ask them to move a chaise and clean under it in our office, which they did. But I should not have to ask. I forgot to ask them to move a very movable couch in the master bedroom that was on wooden legs. Consequently, they did not move it to clean under the couch. It was not too heavy, very movable and they could have even cleaned the carpet underneath with a hose extension if they didn't want to move the couch. I was disappointed that they cleaned around the couch and not under it.

They performed beyond my wildest expectations. Prompt, courteous, polite, high quality work, strong work ethics (no chit chatting, they just worked like dogs to get the project done). I highly recommend them to anybody that needs a fast, thorough job. And don't think this was a pushover job. It was a multi-level townhome occupied by four guys and a girl, all college kids, complete pigs. The crew did not make me feel embarrassed about the state of the place, just came in and got down to business.

The workers arrived on time (actually, they arrived early, which was fine with me, since I had told the owner that any time he could do the job was fine with me). Two workers put in a lot of time cleaning the sofas. The result, for me, was astonishing. Sofas that I was prepared to replace got a new life. The cleaning itself was exemplary. The carpet that had lived through several dog lives were brought back to the state that I remembered when I bought it. I thought that the price I was quoted was completely fair, considering the result achieved and the time involved. The lesson I learned: professional carpet and upholstery cleaning is inexpensive enough that it should be used far more frequently.

There were 2 men doing the work, the technician and the helper. The helper did not seem interested in doing a thorough job, and dirt once loosened from the carpet by the technician was left on the carpet in several obvious areas. It appeared it was the helper's responsibility to do the finishing of the clean-up.

Jeff and his partner arrived on time. They cleaned my 3-level 4BR townhome and did an excellent job. Jeff owns the company and did the work himself. I was very pleased with the results and will call on him again.

I needed to have a basement carpet in a rental house steam cleaned on short notice to accomodate a new tenant (I was calling on Friday and needed someone on Monday am). I called several other places off Angie's list, and none were willing to work with my schedule. Kangaroo was great. They gave me a price over the phone and also explained their cleaning process in detail. They showed up on time, were extremely professional, and did a fantastic job. I would definitely hire them again and am recommending them to friends.

An excellent experience with this company. Professional, courteous, excellent communication from the first phone call. Stains I thought were embedded forever were removed. Just an overall fabulous experience.

Kangaroo did a good job getting up some stains that I didn't think would come up. They worked very hard at getting the stains up and the house smelled great for a few days following the cleaning. The only reason I didn't give them an excellent was because the stains came back. I would use them again.

thereand be aKangaroo Cleaning Services has a rather method of cleaning carpets. They use a machine with a brush apparatus that rotates and supposedly deep cleans the carpet. Our carpets were quite old, and had not been cleaned more than once or twice. I felt that this might be a better method of getting all the dirt out. Unfortunately, this method picked up the carpet and pad and stretched it in some places. We were left with ridges in the carpet. For example, we we had a desk sitting in the middle of the room and the machine put a big ridge right up beside the side of the desk. When we moved the desk to the wall we ended up with a ridge in the middle of the floor. As time goes by the carpet is slowly beginning to sink back into place, but it has been a while since they have cleaned the carpet and we still have ridges. In addition, we developed a huge mysterious stain in one area of an old and inexpensive carpet in one room. It wasn't there when they arrived to clean the carpet; it wasn't there when they left for the day, but it was there the next day. We have no idea where it came from; we can only speculate that Kangaroo's chemicals somehow created a chemical reaction with something that was on the rug or pad underneath. We did call them back, and they tried to remove the stain, but we still have it. Because the company has gotten good reviewsin the past, I think that possibly if you have a newer carpet their method might be acceptable. I think, however, that you must be careful with their method on older carpets.

Their prices were reasonable. They spent over double the time than any carpet cleaning service that I've used. Their services are outstanding. They are friendly and helpful. Getting the pet odor out is very difficult and they did a great job.

This is the second time I've used this company and again, they exceeded the expectations. The high traffic areas came out great and the drying time was minimal and the whole condo smelled great!

great experience! The couch looked like new. We were not going to have the basement cleaned, but they agreed to clean it at a great rate--removed black ink stains that had been there for years! Both of the service providers were very nice and professional. I am recommending to friends and family!

Great. I e-mailed Jeff to get info on carpet cleaning services. He got in contact with me the same day, explained services in detail, quoted a price and scheduled the work. On the scheduled day, Jeff and Greg called to let me know they were on their way. They arrived right on time, and completed the work within about two hours. They were able to get out a stain that had been there for as long as I can remember. Really nice work. The carpets look and smell great. Will use them again and I would recommend them to others as well.

Initially, I purchased a Big Deal - $180 for four rooms. However, when Jeff arrived, I asked how much it would be to clean the additional rooms and his price was fair, even less than industry standards. He and George arrived on time, and immediately began work, not only spot treating stains, but the baseboard areas as well. Other companies would charge extra for that. Then, he brought in what looked like the machine ChemDry used (NEVER again) and I questioned him. He explained that although it was circular (as opposed to straight nozzle) it "scrubs" the rug with brushes and steam, making for a much better result. He was absolutely right! Then his assistant George went back and took a straight nozzle hand tool and did all the baseboards - something NO other professional had done. In addition, when George did the steps, he did a very thorough job. The result: the carpets - wall to wall - were finally clean. He has been placed on my Favorites and will surely be the one I call in six months when it's time to clean the carpets again.

I had called and over the phone described the inside of my home and the gentleman quoted me a price. They called prior to coming for the appointment, to let me know when they would be here. When they arrived, they came in saw the home and then went to work doing what they do. The carpet in the whole house was as clean as the day we moved in. And that was 2 1/2 years ago. Smells good and looks even better! They gave us things to put on our feet to wear on the carpet because it was damp. It didn't take long to dry about 4-8 hours. Thanks for a great job.

Outstanding job!!! I first called another Angie's List firm who sent an estimator and quoted approximately $2100 for my 3 level, single family home (12 rooms worth of carpeting). I then called Kangaroo and they quoted their price over the phone. They showed up early, worked for 5 hours and did a great job. Superior work, excellent price (they stood by their price quote even though I gave them a chance to revise it after seeing the amount of work) and great customer service. Couldn't be happier and will use them again whenever I need carpet cleaning! Highly recommend!

Short version - they were punctual, respectful, quick, and thorough. The price was very reasonable and scheduling was easy. We would use them and recommend them to anybody.
