I could not be more impressed with the work done by GTZ. There knowledge and expertise gave me confidence in them throughout my project (replacing breaker box, installing 50 amp line to garage, and other random troubleshooting around the house). I selected GTZ Electric Contracting to replace the Federal Pacific Stab-Lok panel in my house. These panels have a known potential fire safety issue and GTZ recommend full replacement . GTZ completed the panel upgrade within the time stated. The panel replacement was performed expertly and passed the Alexandria City permit inspection the first time with excellent remarks from inspector. GTZ also presented details on the work to repair the panel enclosure before sending the estimate.

GTZ Electric Contracting LLC I selected this company to replace a faulty Fluorescent Kitchen light. After determining that the existing ballast replacement would have to be ordered and would take 3-4 days to arrive, we opted to have the whole light replaced. Their estimate to perform the work was very reasonable. First and foremost, their representative, John, showed up on time. That is a big thumbs up for me. He was very personable and professional. Next, he came in assessed the work and explain thoroughly what he was going to do. He finished the work quickly and cleaned up after himself. We were so pleased with his work, that we had him look at another project and asked him to provide us with a written estimate. We will definitely use this company again.

Very sloppy work. Left behind a mess for me to clean-up. When they created holes in the wall or ceiling they told me they do not do patch-up work only install what I asked them to do. It took them 2 1/2 days to complete all the requested work. Although they were lower in cost, I would not hire them again for any electrical work.

Our job required coordination with the power company. GTZ handled everything and the job was completed on time and on budget. Would definitely use them for other projects

This was a great company that did excellent work. They came on time, completed the work in the time they estimated (a little early even) then cleaned up the work site to the point you barely knew anyone was there. After they finished, they explained everything they did and even made sure to follow up with the city on the inspection. I will definitely hire John and his team again.

John and Diego were great! I am a first time homeowner and had a LOT of questions. They were extremely patient and talked me through everything they were going to do and why. This included what needed to be done to bring the house to code and what safety precautions I should take. John and his son Diego provided a competitive estimate and were very transparent about the cost structure. They clearly did not try to upcharge me (like other contractors who gave estimates). Their honesty and the high quality work has made them my go-to electricians for the future.
