We highly recommend Deck Envy. We have worked with numerous contractors in the past and Deck Envy surpassed all expectations and experiences. Johnny, Ricardo, and their crews were highly organized, on schedule, and budget. They were responsive to any questions / concerns we had and put extra thought into ensuring the product delivered would exceed our expectations. IE: While a deck seam typically goes right in the middle of the deck, due to the shape of our deck, they proposed moving it slightly to better define the spaces and make it look intentional. We really appreciated this level of care and consideration in the planning and execution of our deck. The crew provided an upfront schedule which they met daily and the quality of their work was fantastic. We love our new deck and patio and highly recommend them.

The whole Deck Envy Team was awesome from start to finish. My only qualm was that I didn't find them sooner. Our new deck, stairs and a porch "face lift" are gorgeous - truly beyond my expectations. They are who you want to be working with. We are already planning on 2 more projects to be done by Deck Envy in the future!

Deck Envy rebuilt our deck look beautifully. Johnny and Ricardo both executed the project seamlessly from beginning till the project complete. There was bit issue (NOT THEIR FAULT) but they was resolving quickly and in the professional way (Kudos to Johnny and Ricardo). The big THANK for working crew (Jonathan, Diego, Luis). Not only they was working hard to make the project complete on schedule but also they are really professional on their works. Deck Envy is fabulously company that I am strongly recommending to everyone.

Johnny and the crew magically found me a time slot when someone else kept postponing,and offered a very reasonable price for the work of rebuilding a terribly uneven brick walkway and patio that had deteriorated over 30 years. Their work was painstakingly careful and clean, and even though it took longer and was harder than they expected, they never asked for an increase in price. Watching how carefully the guys washed brick by brick to make them clean enough to reuse and save money was astounding. Their custom cuts were accurate and many. They performed a resurrection miracle and now I have a safe walkway, new stairs and a patio that arenâ  t evil tripping hazards. Thanks Johnny and Fabian and the team for another fabulous job,

Excellent job performed by a very professional crew with a beautiful concept and plan designed by the very talented Johnny. Ricardo the project manager handled the scheduling, the permits and the execution seamlessly. Lucio the team manager was always on site, problem solving and always willing to go the extra mile. Ultimately, our new deck was mounted in less 5 days!

Deck Envy was fabulously responsive. They were first ones to call me back when I called around to get an assessment of safety of my previous deck. got here immediately the following week to assess. Their assessment was clear and easy to see it made most long term financial sense to demo it and build a new one. They gave me a very reasonable price, and then squeezed me in two months earlier than projected because I had a new tenant and we were all safety minded. Workers were courteous, efficient, and astonishingly careful and precise in every cut and move they made. New deck is gorgeous!

We hired Deck Envy to replace our back patio stairs and install a new flagstone patio after receiving a referral from a friend in the neighborhood. Johnny and Ricardo made every effort to get the job done as quickly and efficiently as they could and the entire project was completed in less than a week! Johnathan and his crew came to breakdown existing stairs and replace new steps and had the job completed in less than 48 hours. Fabian and his guys were here to excavate, prep and install our patio and completed the job (including accommodating our tweaks along the way) without any issues at allâ ¦and in less than 36 hours! Every person that was on site to do these jobs was courteous, extremely professional and patient with our questions and changes along the way. I would not hesitate to hire Deck Envy againâ ¦and already did for another project!

Our old deck had to be replaced. We had gotten estimates previously but decided to hold off for a bit. After talking to 2 neighbors who recently had their decks replaced by Deck Envy, we called them. Johnny Vu came out, looked over the space, asked what we were looking to have done, talked about options for build and colors. After receiving his quote, which was very fair, we hired them a couple of days later. They handled all permitting and inspections. Ricardo, project leader, was professional and available for questions & input. The deck was completed in a timely manner, within the scheduled timeframe. Their communication with us was as needed, but clear and concise. Their teams (Lucio on the deck and Fabian on the concrete) were both timely, skilled and considerate. The were careful of our existing planter boxes and other yard ornaments and everything was put back in place as requested. I would fully recommend Deck Envy and would hire them again without question.

Thanks to Fabian and his crew for an amazing flag stone back patio, newly built stone fireplace, and area for our new swim spa. They crew was on time every day and kept us up to date on progress. The owners were very easy to work with and made the experience great. I would call them again for a large or small job. Highly recommend.

When we decided this spring that our deck needed to be rebuilt, we sought out several estimates based on Google reviews. Deck Envy gave us the best value estimate by far. This project was made more complicated by needing to meet fairly stringent HOA guidelines, plus an issue with a storm water easement. The Deck Envy team worked tirelessly to give us a deck design that would give us more useable space and stay within the confines of the area we could use. The crew worked hard (even in brutal heat), and cleaned up every single day before leaving. The finished product was exactly what we had hoped for. Highly recommend this company!

From start to finish really great service. Reasonable price, top notch materials, efficient and competent installation crew. Though it wasn't a huge project, I thought it would take a day and a half. They finished in one day. We couldn't be happier.

Wow, our house has the perfect deck thanks to Deck Envy. I wanted a simple single span raised deck with a dropped beam, privacy fence, and integrated into our existing ground level decks. Johnny took all my requirements and with Ricardo was able to come up with a design that both met all my requirements and included re-decking the exiting ground level decks to match, all within budget. Our raised deck is just over 100 square feet so it's a pretty small project for Northern Virginia. Irrespective of the project size, Johnny and Ricardo were always quick to answer questions and provide anything needed to work through the HOA approval and county inspection processes. Of course, all the real work was done by Jonathon and his team. As mentioned, it's a small deck but there's a lot going on. Jonathan's team worked quickly and to a very high standard, the details turned out great. Last comment, we're a middle townhouse and so all the materials and trash had to be staged and carried in and out by hand. All this was done with no complaints from our either our HOA or neighbors.

Within the last few years, we had Deck Envy to do a couple of projects for us --i.e., they most recently completed a beautiful stone patio for us and previously removed an old deck and replaced it with a hybrid Trex deck. Johnny, Ricardo, Fabian, and their teams made our two experiences seamless and very pleasant. On each project, for example, Johnny was very helpful in providing design ideas; pulling together needed paperwork for the HOAs; handling all the permits; and responding expeditiously to all our calls and emails. The teams were always punctual, conscientious, and very hard working. We have gotten many compliments on both projects from neighbors, friends, and family. Accordingly, we would not hesitate to use Deck Envy again and would certainly recommend them to friends and family.

We had an excellent experience from the initial consult with Johnny who was warm, authentic and knowledgeable of his craft to the diligence of the Fabian and Lucioâ s crews. These teams were hardworking, pulling long days in the heat and detail-oriented. They ensured a clean workspace at the end of each day and were rarely seen not fully engaged in the project. They may not have all the flashy slides of a larger vendor, but I would highly recommend them to help with the design and implementation of your deck and patio! Great company!

After interviewing and meeting with three other contractors we selected Deck Envy to replace our deck. Johnny met us a few times to go over the details and he made several suggestions given that we were uncertain of our plans. Once we finalized our plan and agreed on a price (which was well below the others) we were given a staring time frame. Johnny and Ricardo started on a Monday with their team, arrived early, and completed everything by Friday. This was a complete deck replacement and we were so impressed with how smoothly everything went and they picked up every piece of debris. They even removed several small bushes which were overgrown. We can not believe how seem less the entire project went! They did a beautiful job and were so excited that we can finally enjoy our backyard. We never thought we would get this done this season! We recommended Deck Envy to our friends and they hired the team as well! We highly recommend Johnny and Ricardo!

Jonathan, Ricardo (project manager) and their team provided some of the best service Iâ  ve ever experienced. From day 1 they worked very closely with me and explained all of our options. We reviewed the different projects and decided on TREX Transcend for the rails, the composite post and the premium decking boards. Johnny and Ricardo reviewed several different designs and colors with us. He provided his thoughts, suggestions and answered all our questions. He suggested to add Trex LED lights and they are a game changer. We will enjoy not only during the day but in the evening as well with friends & family. Ricardo and team came in and carefully demolished our existing wooden deck and carefully removed the existing ledger. They trimmed back the bushes and tree branches and hauled away every piece of trash even the leaves. I was astonished with how organized their operation was ran. They completed my 20â  x12â  deck in one week. There was no time wasted. Then even added two sets of stairs. We are looking forward to enjoying this deck as it as added so much space and value to the home & our lives. At the end of the day we were utterly impressed with not only the craftsmanship that went into building this deck but also Johnny & teams through communication and attention to detail. I can not recommended them enough!
