Description of Work: I contracted with Ace to clean out our chimney. Two men came and they |were very efficient & made no mess at all. I also got them to check my dryer for lint and it was full of lint. They charged me $100 to do the dryer.

Description of Work: I purchased the big deal for my dryer vent and chimney cleaning. When i called to schedule the appointment they happened to be on the Southside and was able to come that afternoon. Ryan cleaned and inspected the dryer vent. I was so surprised at how much lint was removed. I'm so happy that I called when I did. He also cleaned and inspected my chimney. He noticed some rotten wood around the chimney cap (which explains the leak). He has ordered a new chimney cap and will be replacing this week.

Description of Work: I purchased an Angies list Deal for dryer vent cleaning. Ryan and his assistant were punctual, professional and did a great job cleaning the vent. I had to reschedule the initial appointment and Ryan was very understanding and accommodating. The only snag was that Ryan had disconnected and moved the washer in order to have the necessary access to the dryer vent and somehow, when all was completed, the drain tube from the washer wasn't place into the drain. Luckily I was nearby when I ran a load of laundry and heard the water pouring out onto the floor. It was easily cleaned up and my husband was able to pull out the washer and insert the drain tube into the drain. The next day I called Ryan to inform him of the mishap and he was apologetic and I understand that mistakes can happen. If not for this mishap I would have rated Ace Chimney Sweep an all around "A" service provider.

He and his helper arrived, were cordial & polite, did the work without hesitation, and went beyond the description of the job. He swept the laundry floor for me. Now that's outstanding service!

Description of Work: The sweep was extremely courteous. The service was fast and efficient and he told me what he found wrong with my chimney and gave good information on how to fix it.

Description of Work: I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for a chimney sweep. Quoted me additional charges up front to inspect wood burning stove; reasonable fee. Since I needed my Christmas lights hung from my gutters, I asked him what he would charge to hang them. He charged me a reasonable fee of $50 to hang the lights. He did a superb job through and through. He was very detail-oriented with regard to hanging the Christmas lights; they were strung perfectly and he was immaculate about making sure that the extension cords were hidden. Great job on chimney and wood burning stove inspection. I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Showed up on time and did a good job. Also identified several cracks in bottom of fireplace insert firebox which he fixed for a reasonable cost while he was there. I would use this person again.
