Time efficient and skilled at their job

I really liked these guys. They are very friendly and yet, all about business. I knew that there was a dead animal and a nest in my chimney; no problem they said. They cleaned all up (two dead squirells and remnants of an old bird with bunch of debris) a bucket full of stuff. Up in the roof, they installed a stainless steel cap, gave me advice and show photos of how it looked up there. They even also told us tips on how to lit up the fireplace correctly. Oh, and for a very small fee ($25), they fixed the sealing between the chimney and the siding of the house by putting caulk from all the way up to the bottom of my two story house. Clean up was $80 ($89 regular price, they gave me a military discount), and steel cap was $99. Remaining amount is tax.

thought I was getting a full inspection including fiber optic view of flue. That was an assumption on my part. Fair value for what I got, but not the deep discount I thought it was. I would definitely use them again, though. They were on time, in fact I was running a little late and they were very patient with me. Courteous, quick, and cleaned up after the service.

Excellent. Arrived on time. I had to reschedule due to a medical issue I had and they were very accomodating. Did not disturb me at all while in my home. Efficient, thorogh job. Inspected and cleaned. Took pictures of chimney cap and showed me potential for problem in future. Gave me estimate. Pleasant and easy to work with. Will call him in future. Recommended them to my neighbors and friends.

From calling Ryan and leaving and message (with him calling me back within an hour) to the end, I could not have asked for me. He did everything required and more. Perhaps the only area I'd like to see improvement on is telling how much extra I'd owe before the work is done. He said he'd fix the cracks in my firebox, but did not tell me that he would charge me or how much it would be. Overall, though, excellent work.

Arrived on time to carryout requested inspection and sweeping. Super friendly, and very clean. Worked fast and took the time to explain what they were doing. Highly recommended.

I called for a quote to repair my chimney, Ryan came out within a couple of days and gave me a price. At that time I told them to schedule the reoairs. The original date he gave me was after I was due to close on the house, I gave them the date I needed the work completed by and they were able to meet my needs. I was very appreciative for that. They were very profesonal, did excellent work and cleaned their mess. I would definetly use them again.

Ryan worked quickly and explained everything he could about the type of fireplace we have (pre-fab, gas-lit, ventless). He cleaned the fireplace out prior to checking it and looked over all components of the set-up before trying to light it. He explained different components inside the fireplace as well as discussing the pros and cons of a gas fireplace like we have. When I asked him a few questions about aspects of the fireplace I don't like, he explained what options I might have to fix it and what options probably would not help. When they completed the work, the cleaned up and Ryan spoke to me for a few minutes about our set-up. Overall, I am very happy. Both men were friendly and efficient despite pet and child distractions. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them in the future.

Everything went well, he cleaned my chimney and left no mess. I thought of the movie Mary Poppins and had expected some soot like in the move but no. He took time to lay down a cover and vacuum as he cleaned. Ryan is very friendly and professional person. He answered all my questions, arrived on time and got down to business. Service technicians arrived right on time, carefully covered the rugs to avoid soiling them, performed the work, and cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. They gave me information about the structural state of the chimney and things to look out for in the future, and answered my questions thoroughly. Very professional and pleasant.

They didn't try to sell us additional services, but let us know of some potential things to take care of a couple of years down the road. I purchased the appointment List deal to get my Chimney cleaned for $64.00. I called to make the appointment and had to leave a message. They called back that night and I scheduled the appointment for two weeks from that date. They came out Early - the only thing is I do wish they would have called before coming - which was okay since I was home anyway. Both gentlemen were extremely friendly and accommodating - they cleaned and inspected my chimney and gave me recommendation on how often I should get it cleaned. As they were leaving and giving me their paperwork - I noticed that their Van stated they did Dryer Vent Cleaning - so I inquired and they did it on the spot for an additional $89. I was very happy with their service. I would definitely use again.

I called Ace and they called me right back and set up a convenient appointment time. I highly recommend Ace Chimney Sweep. Ryan and Travis arrived early, were very fast and thorough, and even put on a chimney cap that had blown off during a storm on another chimney they weren't cleaning. Can't go wrong with these guys!

I was pleased with the professionalism from the time they walked into my house until they left. Both men were very polite and sincere about wanting to help find the problem with the leaking in my chimney. I feel they did their best to solve the problem and when it appeared to be an alternate cause for the leak, they showed me what might be causing it and recommended that I get a professional to work on the siding rather than just the average handyman. Ryan explained that when it comes to siding and water damage, you want a professional that specializes in that area rather than just the average handyman. I appreciated his advice and his concern. We will definitely call on his services again in the near future to clean our dryer vent.

There were no problems. He came on time, did the job properly , and left after we paid him with the $69 coupon and the extra $10 for moving the heavy fireplace insert out to clean & replacing it properly as we had agreed in the phone conversation when we set up the appointment.

After signing up for this Big Deal on Angie's List, Ryan Wilson, owner, took the initiative to contact me via e:mail. In the e:mail, he advised his appointments were filling quickly and gave me both his phone and e:mail contact information. When I was ready to schedule, I contacted him by e:mail over the Thanksgiving weekend. I didn't know if he could do the repair work I wanted, but sent him the details. Ryan contacted me by phone first thing Monday morning; and I was pleased he was able to schedule the work for 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28. He was more than prompt--he was early. He and his assistant, Travis, immediately started the job, bringing in the needed tools and laying out a protective covering over my carpet. When he removed the Buck Stove and found that it was balancing on stones, he sent Travis out to the truck for the proper shims. He performed a thorough cleaning of the stove and inside of the fireplace. He went up on the roof to check the cap and did whatever else it is they do up there. After replacing the stones with the proper shims, he reinserted the Buck Stove and lined the entire stove to brick contact area with new filter material. I haven't lit the stove yet, but am hopeful his repairs will do the trick. By adding the shims, he not only made the insert stable, it had the added effect of taking the vibration out of the unit that made the fan motor too noisy to run. After performing the work, he cleaned the area completely and finished the entire job, including the paperwork, in less than an hour! I'm very pleased. His is the third company I've hired in the 15 years I've lived in this house, and is definately my go-to guy from now on.

They arrived promptly. The work crew was friendly and professional. He pointed out something that could be a problem down the road, but there was no pressure to perform the work immediatly. They did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. After some work crews, I find dust and debris all over the place because they track through different rooms. I think Ace Chimney Sweep left not just the fireplace, but the whole house.
