Ace Chimney Sweep

Very quick clean and courteous. Did a thorough cleaning and inspection. Took pictures of the issues he found to better explain what was going on.Even went so far as to explain the different vents in the firebox. Did not in any way try to hard sell us on repair work. Simply pointed out the problems he found and left it up to us to decide when/if we wanted to have the work done. Will definatly use this company again in the future.

prompt, friendly, and answered my questions about the service and how often it should be done. Very honest about times between service based on the configuration of the dryer to the outside exhaust. After service complete, talked about my gas logs, which are inoperable, in general conversation and attempted to ignite them "just because". Provided additional information on the logs as a courtesy. Impressed with their professionalism and customer service.

Ryan was prompt, professional, efficient and very polite. He arrived with a helper and went right to work. He moved my washer out of the way to get to the back of my dryer and made a recommendation not to have my dryer so close to the back wall as it was bending the vent coming out of the back of the dryer. The experience went very well and I was pleased. I would definitely call him again and recommend him to anyone.

Very pleased. Arrived on time. Left area cleaner than when he started. Climbed roof and provided visual inspection of chimney to include taking digital pictures, which he showed me on the ground. No sales pitch for extra services like some other sweeps. Again, very pleased with the team's professionalism. Would recommend and plan to use again next year.

Ace Chimney Sweep was great! They had a DEAL where they cleaned my clothes dryer vent tube for $64.00. After I booked the deal, I called and set up an appointment. They were courteous and responsive. They arrived exactly on time, and performed the service neatly, leaving no mess behind, They were respectful of our home. The entire operation took less that a hour. While the vent was not clogged, it was pretty full of lint, so their service probably saved us from a serious fire hazard! I would definitely use them again, and I highly recommend them!

I saw this dryer deal on Angie's list and decided to buy it. Within 24 hours I was contacted by Ryan to set up the service. On the day agreed on, Ryan and his team showed up exactly on time, performed the service in a timely manner and had my vent completely cleaned in about 20 minutes. The dryer has worked beautifully since then and I have decided to have Ryan and his team come out on a regular basis to maintain the vent. I would definitely use him again! Very good service!

We had to work around their schedule a bit, but it was worth it! Ryan is very professional and answered all questions to my satisfaction. He and his assistant inspected my fireplace, cleaned it and gave me a detailed description of how the fireplace worked (new house, new fireplace), and how to care for it. They also inspected the chimney chase cover, took pictures, emailed them to me and suggested some repairs in the next year or so. I found them to easy to work with and very detailed in their discussions.

They set the appointment, told me how much it would be, showed up on time, did an excellent and efficient job and left.

Great service. Ryan came on time and was very personable. Before starting he explained everything he was going to do. During the cleaning he discovered some damage to fireplace box. He repaired it for a minimal cost. He also explained the caps are rusting and will need replacement at a later time. I liked he didn't pressure me to replace them right away. I will use Ace Chimney Sweep again and will recommend him to others.

Outstanding service. Ryan was very professional and personable. He promptly responded when I purchased the "'Big Deal' for chimney inspection and cleaning. He showed up on time for the appointment , was very efficient, clearly explained his assessment and promptly cleaned the chimney. No soot in the house! He used a tablet to show photos of the damage on the chimney cap, which I appreciated. A picture is worth a thousand words. Ryan also pointed out that there were some gaps in the caulking around the flashing and he offered to fix it (for free). I payed a company a lot of money for a new roof and was disappointed to hear about the oversight. He provided an estimate for the new chimney cap and mortar repair in the hearth and we set a follow up appt. 2 weeks later. On the day of the second appt, Ryan was running late from a previous job site but contacted me to let me know he was running a few minutes late. He promptly fixed everything (30 minutes) , including the caulking around the flashing, and provided photos of the completed job on the roof. Great job!

Mr. Wilson and his assistant arrived on time and were well prepared. He covered the floor and carpet with a tarp, took out the log holder out of the fireplace, plugged in a very bright light, and using the light, examined the firebox. He questioned how often the fireplace had been used since his last cleaning and had his assistant vacuum the floor and sides of the firebox. The cement mixture was mixed outside and brought into the house. The mixture was thoroughly damp and so cement dust did not end up on my furniture. Mr. Wilson crawled inside the firebox and troweled the mixture into the open seam. Once the seam was completely sealed, pictures were taken to check the seal, texture and neatness of the work. The process was efficient. I am well satisfied that my fireplace is in good working order thanks to the efforts of Mr. Wilson's company, Ace Chimney Sweep.

Ryan and his assistant arrived on time. They were professional, polite and friendly. They took every precaution to avoid getting my house dirty. Ryan went on the roof and showed me photos of my chimney. Based on the photos he recommended replacing my chase cover, which was quite obviously rusted in the photos. Even so, he did not feel it needed to be replace immediately, but in the near future. Inside the fireplace he noticed some cracks in the firebox. He charged $25 to repair the cracks with high heat refractory cement and advised me on how to prevent cracks in the future. He said the fireplace was fairly clean considering we had not had it swept in the 8 years we have lived here. The same day, he emailed me the photos of the rusted chimney chase cover. He was not at my house for long, maybe 30 minutes. There was not a speck of soot or dirt in my house after they left. I would definitely recommend Ace Chimney Sweep.

They actually arrived early. Very informative as to their findings even took pictures. Everything was clean when they left. Very good experience.

I was happy with the service. They did a great job and I was very satisfied with the service. My only complaint was that it seemed that the phone number was a personal line and not a business phone. That wasn't a huge issue and I am happy with the service overall.

I purchased the $79 cleaning coupon from Angie's List, called and made an appointment. On the day of the appointment, Dave and Chris (?) arrived a few minutes early, which, to be honest, I was not expecting - having dealt with other service calls (cable, etc.) in the past. They were very friendly and professional - they came in and set up their equipment. While Dave was busy inside cleaning the fireplace, Chris was busy outside putting on the chimney cap. The cleaning was done very well, with no mess or dust inside the house! They were done with the chimney cap, cleaning and inspection within 40 minutes!! Excellent customer service, and excellent work! I would definitely use them again and recommend them as well!!

We used a special Angie's list coupon for the services here. Called and made an appointment for the chimney cleaning. Came and cleaned in a professional manner. No complaints. Showed that there were some issues with the chimney that needed repairs. Told us not to use the fireplace until it was repaired. Could not provide an estimate for the repair at the time and would get back to us. Two or more weeks went by with no response. Contacted him via email about the estimate and he said that he would get back to us shortly. To date (1/2/2013) we have never heard back from him about repair estimates and even if he could/would do it. So, our options are to get another inspection done to confirm that there is even a defect and pay again for this service or just not use the fireplace. Poor choices. I believe that this professional dropped the ball on us. Very disappointed in his follow through.

Arrived on time and began inside and outside inspection of chimney. Did through inspection inside and outside. Great job and better than any company we had used previously.

Fine ----I would have him again -----but would once again clarify the price before he came.
