Ace Chimney Sweep

This guy was so professional! He came over as soon as I called because my dryer vent was clogged. We thought it would be a quick clean out, but the vent was in really bad shape and needed re-routing and cleaning. He stayed late to get the job completed and showed me everything he was doing. He ended up having to go under the house and take the vent apart in multiple sections to get it clean. I would highly recommend this guy to anyone! excellent service & very professional.

Ryan and Travis arrived promptly at the designated time and began working immediately. They were efficient, and when they left one would never have known that they were even here, especially in light of the volume of "stuff" that must have been in the dryer vent. Everything was cleaned up. They were polite, professional, and friendly. I will have Ryan back to take care of the chimney in the fall. Totally A+.

I was VERY satisfied with the work, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. They were punctual, attentive, and cleaned up after themselves.

Fortunately, my general contractor was able to repair the four-inch gap by access through the laundry room ceiling. The cause of the problem was in the original construction (and inspection?) of my townhouse, exacerbated by a previous cleaning that may have knocked something loose. At any rate, the dryer lint now goes where it is supposed to. I am glad I called these nice young men, even though they were unable to make the repairs themselves. I will call on them again.

Was extremely accomodating in fitting our appointment in right away as we were in a hurry after selling our house to get it completed. Showed up right on time, no issues at all.

Once I purchased the big deal Ryan contacted me right away by email to schedule an appointment and I replied back that same day with my requested date. Unfortunately he didn't reply to my first email so I sent a follow up 3 weeks later and he replied to that one right away. I was unable to get the date and time that I wanted but we found a date that would work. The initial appointment went well, Ryan performed the inspection and provided an estimate of the services that needed to be done along with pictures so I could see what he was talking about. I contacted him the next day to schedule the service and although he wasn't available for the date and time I initially wanted, we agreed on a different date and time. Unfortunately on the day they were supposed to come they called to reschedule because the project they were working took longer than expected. When the rescheduled appointment time came, they showed up on time and got right to work. They were professional and did a very thorough job. I was impressed with the quality of their work and again they showed me pictures of their work so I didn't have to climb up on the roof to see for myself. Aside from the initial lack of response and difficulty scheduling the work, the actual service itself was excellent and I would recommend them to others.

tey arrive 10 minutes early, very courteuos and proceeded to clean the the dryer vent first. I inquired if they could also clean my gas fireplace, they also did an excellent job. very professional and respectfull.

So far so good, his quick response started our relationship off positively!

I e-mailed the company to inquire about cleaning my dryer vent, that was on special at the time, I also stated that even though we don't use our chimney I might have it inspected also. My house is located in Virginia Beach, I know it is at least a 40 mile trip. Never received any response. To me; just another independent that only works when they want to. Ryan Wilson, Owner and Operator, did follow up on my review, seems he is not on the web daily. I think as soon as I am ready to have the service done I will call him instead.

It went very smoothly with the provider describing his activity as he wen. Several neighbors came to watch and he was accomodating to their questions.

Very impressed with the quality and interaction with the technician. He was friendly but not overly so. The fireplace was completely cleaned and vacuumed out and make sure the surrounding area was clean as well. The inspection advised us what may need to be replaced soon but was not pushy in selling us more services. The chimney sweep themed ring-back tone when calling to setup the appointment was an added bonus.

he arrived as scheduled and had a helper. They made sure the house was left clean in front of the fireplace. He also inspected the chimney and let me know that there was a repair needed. I am waiting to get a quote from him for the work.

I used a coupon to have Ace Chimney Sweeps clean and examine my chimney for safety. Because several dead birds were found in the chimney, they recommended an improved chimney cap which I agreed to have installed. The work was done quickly and I'm completely satisfied.

ACE Chimney Sweep came and swept our chimney.... which we had been told needed major repairs from another company. We asked ACE to take a look at what the other company had told us we "needed" before we could use the fireplace. Turns out notheing was wrong, just needed a good sweep, and we were up and running in no time. They came out and performed just as promised and were very curtious to deal with. We would absolutely use them again.

He was on time, did a good job and I chose him because he was rated highly on Angies List and offered an Angie"s List "Big Deal" coupon.

There were very responsive. They were available fairly quickly to come out and give a free estimate and even called to let us know they were on the way. They did the same thing on the day of service. They worked quick but with quality, and cleaned after they finished. We have used our fireplace several times and have had no issues.

Very professional! I was running late, and they stayed and waited for me to arrive. Both technicians were respectful and courteous. Explained procedure and showed me what was blown out of vent. Very reasonable priced.

The service provided was excellent. He arrived on time, made sure he didn't get my floors dirty, he was quick (he was there for just over 1/2 hr) and he cleaned up afterwards. He also took pictures from my roof of what needs to be replaced within the next couple of years. He also informed me that part of my siding up in the rooftop had come off (most likely from wind damage). He emailed me those pictures to keep record of and to show when I get my siding replaced. He was extremely helpful, professional and polite. I would definitely call on them again.

Ryan arrived at our house on time. He was very friendly and professional. He took care to prevent any dirt or suet from getting on our carpet near the fireplace. He also went outside and checked the chimney, removed the cap on top and checked from the top as well as from the fireplace. He took pictures of some cracks in the mortar on top of the chimney and suggested repairs to seal them. I will definitely use him each year to clean my chimney. Jim Potter
