Both guys were on time, polite, friendly and did a great job. The cost was reasonable for the work performed. When the time arises, will use the again.

Discovered problem immediately and proceeded to repair.. Prompt, friendly, professional, paid attention to details. I gave a C for responsiveness only because of time it took to respond to appointment. Otherwise, very pleased with work performed.

They got here earlier than expected after first calling us. They first inspected our dryer vent and found two problems of concern. They showed us the two problems and after our permission, they corrected both problems. They then gave our dryer vent a full cleaning. They also cleaned the back of our dryer and the area underneath. They made sure everything was back in place before they left.

The person was prompt and did a good job. However - and this is my fault - I didn't realize the cost listed in Angie's list was for an "evaluation." I thought it covered the whole cost for cleaning. But, I should have read the ad more carefully. Had I known it was going to cost as much as it did , I would have called other providers for bids. The price may have been the same though.

Ryan and his assistant did an amazing job. They were able to clean out our vent entirely. I took a picture of the bag of disgusting debris and emailed to my husband at work. It could have caused a massive fire because it was so clogged and we didn't realize it. DO NOT EVER think just cleaning the lint trap that you pull out will take care of it! Well, well worth the price and piece of mind. This is the perfect "gift" especially for the elderly or the person that has everything.

The owner was very responsive to phone calls and emails when both of our schedules shifted. The primary reason I bought the deal was to have the gasket on my wood fireplace doors replaced and the owner acknowledged this. When he showed up for the job, within 5 minutes he stated that he did not have the required gasket and that he could get it and come back out, but that would be another service call (full service fee, I believe approx $65). He then conducted the chimney sweep and was gone in approx 30-45 minutes. While the owner was very personable and punctual, the fact that my primary reason for purchasing the service was for a repair and that was not achieved was very disheartening in his response.

Ryan and Travis were punctual, neat and efficient. Examined chimney inside and out; cleaned out firebox and cleaned up after themselves. Examined chimney cap and bricks and made recommendations along with written estimate for some non-urgent repairs. No pressure. Ryan (the boss) was knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. Definitely recommend.

I contacted them and told them I would like it done as soon as possible. They were able to accommodate with an appointment within a week from calling them. They arrived a little late, maybe half an hour, but were extremely professional and courteous. They were friendly and did an excellent job. They asked about the unit and then started to work. One of them on the inside with the dryer and the other on the ladder by the outside vent. Apparently the vent to the outside was thickly covered with lint so they cleared all that out. They even swept up on the floor around the back of the dryer because it was dusty and there were lost laundry items back there. Like I said we moved in only a year ago so we have no idea when this was last done in this house. They did say it wasn't that badly blocked, and that everything looks good! We really appreciated them and they were so professional we would definitely call them again especially if we can get a good deal like we did this time for the dryer vent cleaning. Altogether they took maybe half an hour tops. They seemed very quick.

I found this provider with high grades on Angie's List. I hired him for dryer vent cleaning and then also purchased a Big Deal for chimney sweep. When he came out, he was on time, but he completely wasted our time. He was not capability of doing the job that he told us he would do. He could not find the dryer vents. Then, he told us it was because our units (in our condo) were not up to code. Except that these dryer vents had been cleaned by a different company a couple years ago and they never told us that they were or were not up to code. He took pictures, of our dryer vents, because he was not capable to do the job and he was going to contact a provider who could do the work, that he could not do, and when he did find a provider he would contact us to come do the work. He told us he would get back to us and it has been 3 weeks and I have not heard from him since.

The original appointment was scheduled for 9/13/13 but Ryan Wilson ( the owner) called and was going to be in my area on Monday so we moved the appointment to Monday 9/9/13 at noon. Ryan and his crew arrived on time and went right to work. My worst fear was realized when the vent pipe was discovered laying on the floor of the crawl space and the dryer was dumping the lint on the floor of the crawl space. The price quoted to facilitate repairs was very reasonable and once agreed upon they got right to work. They re-hung the pipe and sealed it. Not only that but they cleaned all the lint off the crawl space floor. I am very satisfied with Ace Chimney sweep and will definitely use them again. Ryan was inside and his assistant was outside. Ryan explained how the blower worked as he was setting it up. They had radios so the could communicate. When Ryan was ready he radioed to his assistant who had a bag over the outside hose and the lent was blowing into the bag. They also had a brush going through the vent to help clean out the vent ( we know this because the assistant pulled the bag back to show us the brush. When the where done they put the lent into a bag to show us how much lent was in there believe me there was a lot. Before they left Ryan gave me a receipt and business card. Ryan and his assistant showed up on time, they were pleasant, professional, quick, and explained to me how and what they were doing. They cleared out several big wet clogs in the ducting and had ventilation working properly again. Ryan pointed out some erroneously installed ductwork that was culpable for the problems they tackled and offered recommendations to rectify it. They even helped me with a quick dissimilar home repair. Something was dumped into the chimney from another project. He was always on time and we were very pleased with the work.

That guy was great. He was a nice guy. I would highly recommend them. He was very personable. He did exactly what he said he was going to do and then he fixed some other things too. I have never done anything like that before so I don't know what the price usually is but it was reasonable enough for me to buy the deal. I actually gave his name to my property manager.

August 30 Ryan and his helper arrived 10 minutes before scheduled time, which I truly appreciate in a company. The vent was very clogged and they took their time, cleaned up afterwards and told me that the next cleaning can be in 3 years. Very friendly and courteous.
